Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept in adolescents optimism in the evacuation of victims eruption of Mount Sinabung. The research subject were teenagers who were in the refugee victimsof Sinabung eruption that totaled 80 people. The measuring instruments used is a Likert scale that consist of 46 items of self-concept (α = 0,963 ) and 42 items optimism (α = 0,970 ). Data analysis using techniques r Product Moment. Based on the analysis of data, found that the hypothesis proposed  in  this  study received,  that  there is  a relationship between  self  –  concept  in  adolescents optimism in the evacuation of victims eruption of Mount Sinabung. This is evidenced by the value or coefficient of correlation ( rxy = 0,844 with p = 0,04 ; p < 0,05). Furthermore as seen from the calculation of the mean hypothetical and empirical mean as well as standard deviation is known that self- concept and optimism adolescents in the evacuation victims Sinabung eruption is low where the average empirical value is lower than the average value of the hypothetical.

Abstract

The main problem of this research namely, the students’ speaking skill is still poor causes them to feel embarrassed and insecure if they are asked to express their opinions. This research aims to analyze speaking skills using group guidance services with problem-solving techniques on grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Sarjo. The research subjects were 7 people. The questionnaire was used to collect data about speaking skills. The questionnaire was used to collect data about speaking skills. The questionnaire result data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. Hypothesis testing is carried out through statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test formula at the 95% (0,05) confidence level. The result of the descriptive analysis showed that the speaking skill of the students before participating in group guidance services with problem-solving techniques that 4 students or 57,14% are fair, 3 students or 42,86% are poor. The speaking skills of students after attending group guidance service with problem-solving techniques that 3 students or 42,86% are fair and 4 students or 57,14% are good. The inferential analysis result showed that the t-test value is 0,018 < t-table 0,05. It means that H0 is rejected. Based on the results, it can be concluded that group guidance services with problem-solving techniques is effective in improving the speaking skills of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Sarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting style and discipline for children aged 5-6 years in Solo Fide Private Kindergarten. The subjects in this study were 42 students of Solo Fide Private Kindergarten. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Likert scale which consists of 21 parenting items ( α = 0.803) and 14 discipline items ( α = 0.698). Data analysis using pearson product moment technique . Based on data analysis, the correlation value between parenting and discipline was obtained by the coefficient rxy = 0.694 with a significant level of 0.000. This shows that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a significant positive relationship between parenting style and student discipline in Solo Fide Private Kindergarten. Furthermore, seen from the calculation of the empirical mean of parenting is 64.67 and the empirical mean of discipline is 42.93. So it can be concluded that the students of Solo Fide Private Kindergarten are good.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat stres sebelum dan setelah pelatihan manajemen stres pada santri ArRaudlatul Hasanah. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 42 subjek yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu 21 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 21 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian merupakan santri kelas 1 Tsanawiyah yang mempunyai stress pada tingkat tinggi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala stres.Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest, non equivalent kontrol group design. Analisis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif. Analisis kuantitatif dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis uji t-test untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pelatihan manajemen stres dalam menurunkanstres pada kelompok eksperimen. Hasil penelitian yaitu pada pre test dan post test stres menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan stres pada kelompok ekperimen dengan nilai t= 8,388, p=0,000, p<0,05. Kesimpulan daripenelitian ini adalah adaperbedaan tingkat stres yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen setelahdiberikan pelatihan manajemen stres.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling with cognitive restructuring technique on self-efficacy in the era of online learning students of MTs Negeri 2 Medan. The method used in this research is quantitative method. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest group design. The subjects in this study were 8 students of class VIII-1 who had low self-efficacy scores. The research data were collected using a student self-efficacy questionnaire in the era of online learning, amounting to 47 statement items that had been valid and reliable. Questionnaires were given before and after the implementation of group counseling service. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to see if there was a significant effect of group counseling with cognitive restructuring technique on student self-efficacy in the era of online learning. This can be obtained from the Wilcoxon test which shows that the Wilcoxon level test is obtained. Jcount = 6 while Jtable = 4. From the critical value table J for the Wilcoxon-marked cascade test for n = 8, α = 0.05 according to the criteria for acceptance and rejection of the hypothesis, the hypothesis is accepted if Jcount> Jtabel where 6> 4, from this calculation It can be seen that the treatment in the experimental group means that the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of group counseling with cognitive restructuring technique on self-efficacy in the era of online learning students of MTs Negeri 2 Medan.

Abstract

The study aimed to investigated the effect of online counseling to cabin fever phenomenon of students in SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa . The research used a q u a n t i t a t iv e m e th o d . T h e ty p e o f t h is r e s e a r c h w a s q u a s i exp e r i m e n ta l w i t h p r e te s t a n d p o s t t e s t design. The data collection technique used a questionnaire of cabin fever scale. The sample of this research was 10 students which was taken by purposive sampling technique. The data analyzed used Wilcoxon test. The result showed that the wilcoxon signed rank test obtained Jcount = 77 and Jtable = 5.Therefore, Jhitung> Jtable . The level of significance for test α=0.05. It could be concluded that there is the effect of the online counseling to cabin fever phenomenon of students in SMP Negeri 1Tanjung Morawa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok pada siswa penggemar k-pop kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 39 Medan.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental dengan jenis pretest-posttest one group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang siswa penggemar k-pop kelas VIII dengan 3 orang yang memiliki skor resiliensi akademik rendah dan 3 orang yang memiliki skor resiliensi akademik sedang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Resilience Question Test (RQT). Instrumen diberikan sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk melihat adakah pengaruh signifikan pemberian layanan bimbingan kelompok pada siswa penggemar k-pop. Maka dapat diperoleh hasil perhitungan dengan skor test awal (pre-test) diperoleh niai rata-rata = 98,5 sedangkan skor post-test diperoleh nilai rata-rata = 136,67. Artinya skor rata-rata siswa setelah mendapat layanan bimbingan kelompok lebih tinggi daripada sebelum mendapat layanan bimbingan kelompok. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji Wilcoxon yang menunjukkan bahwa pada uji jenjang Wilcoxon diperoleh Jhitung = 6 dengan α = 0,05 dan n = 6 maka Jtabel = 0. Dari data tersebut terlihat bahwa Jhitung > Jtabel dimana 6 > 0. Artinya hipotesis diterima. Hal ini berarti, ada pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap resiliensi akademik pada siswa penggemar k-pop kelas VIII SMP Negeri 39 Medan. Layanan bimbingan kelompok memberikan pengaruh sebesar 38% terhadap peningkatan resiliensi akademik pada penggemar k-pop kelas VIII SMP Negeri 39 Medan.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling at this school, students who are addicted to online games have low learning outcomes. The low learning outcomes are also caused because the child pays less attention during the ongoing learning process in the classroom because of his laziness and the child does not do the assignments given by the subject teacher because friends invite him to play online games. This research is a qualitative research using data collection methods in the form of interviews and documentation. This research is a narrative in nature which produces descriptive data in the form of speech, writing, so as to systematically produce facts about the actual state of the object and pressure on the basic facts that occur at SMP Al Mazaya Islam Banjarmasin. Based on the results of data analysis that was carried out at SMP Al Mazaya Islamic Banjarmasin entitled "The Impact of Online Game Addiction on Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes at SMP Al Mazaya Islamic Banjarmasin, several things can be interpreted as follows: Factors of online game addiction in students at SMP Al Mazaya Islamic Banjarmasin is a feeling of laziness in doing schoolwork, inviting friends to play online games and lack of supervision from parents. The impact of online game addiction on the assessment of student learning outcomes at SMP Al Mazaya Islamic Banjarmasin is a decrease in report cards, disrupted learning concentration and lazy to follow learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the state of student resilience when faced with academic anxiety during limited face-to-face learning in class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Deli Academic Year 2021/2022. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method which is a research which is carried out with the aim of describing the existence of a phenomenon, in this study it is not intended to test hypotheses but only to describe what happens to a certain variable. The sample in this study was 100 students from class X IPA. The scale given contains 43 items related to Resilience and Academic Anxiety. The results of the validation of the research instrument used the product moment correlation analysis technique. In the calculation, it is known that if N = 51 then rtable = 0.279. In accordance with the calculation provisions, it can be said that rcount > r table then the item is declared valid and if rcount < rtable then the item is declared invalid. From the results of the reliability test, the Chronbach Alpha value is (0.710). This value is greater than the rtable value with a significance level of 5% or coefficient > 0.60 then the item is declared reliable. the results of this study found that there are students who have low resilience when facing academic anxiety during limited face-to-face learning. Then gender or gender can affect a person's level of resilience. In this study, it was found that male students were more resilient than female students. In class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Deli, Academic Year 2021/2022.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Group Counseling Services with Sociodrama Techniques on Bullying Actors for Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 27 Medan T.A 2020/2021. The formulation of the problem in this study is: Is there an Influence of Sociodrama Technique Group Counseling Services on Bullying Actors for Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 27 Medan T.A 2020/2021. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with the type of pre-test-post-test one group design. This research was conducted from August to September 2020. The population in this study were all seventh grade students. The sample in this study was class VII-I students who were taken by purposive sampling method consisting of 8 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire to find out the perpetrators of student bullying. The instrument was given before and after the implementation of the sociodrama technique group counseling service. Then the data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to see if there was a significant effect of providing sociodrama technique group counseling services on student bullying perpetrators. This can be obtained from the calculation results with the initial test score (pre-test) in the experimental group obtained an average of = 167.5 while the post-test data obtained an average of = 94. This can be obtained from the Wilcoxon test which shows that the level test Wilcoxon obtained Jcount = 75 while Jtable = 4. From the table of critical values . J for the Wilcoxon-signed level test for n = 8, = 0.05 according to the criteria with acceptance and rejection of the hypothesis, the hypothesis is accepted if Jcount> Jtable, namely Jcount>Jtable where 75>4, from this calculation it can be seen the effect of treatment in the experimental group, it means that the influence of sociodrama technique group counseling is more significant (75>4). This means that the hypothesis which reads that there is a significant effect of providing group counseling services with sociodrama techniques on bullies for Class VII students of SMP Negeri 27 Medan for the 2020/2021 academic year can be accepted
