Abstract

The high number of educational institutions in an area, especially in the Gresik Regency area, has implications for the level of competition in fighting over prospective new students. Every institution must be able to build school branding as the best place according to the educational needs of prospective new students and parents of students. The current service activity aims to build the branding of the Muhammadiyah Charity Business Cerme High School school under the auspices of the Basic and Middle Education Council (Dikdasmen) Muhammadiyah College, Cerme Branch, Gresik Regency. Community service activities are carried out in the form of offline training at the Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme High School location. The results of the Community Service show that there is an increase in the ability of school leaders in an effort to improve branding as an effort to increase public interest and positive perceptions, especially prospective students and parents of students.

Abstract

The objectives of this community service are 1) assistance in the application of PT Ngabar Mandiri Sejahtera's Inventory Recognition, 2) assistance in the application of inventory value measurement with the PT Ngabar Mandiri Sejahtera cost formula, 3) assistance in the application of presentation of financial statements to inventory at PT Ngabar Mandiri Sejahtera. The results of the mentoring activity regarding the application of analysis of the application of accounting information systems to the accounting treatment of inventory for employees of PT Ngabar Mandiri Sejahtera as activity participants were able to understand about 1 type of inventory, namely inventory that is ready to be resold (merchandise inventory). The inventory recognition itself is recognized when the goods arrive at the warehouse and the purchase receipt arrives at the PT. The recording of merchandise is distinguished according to the classification of the type of goods. Stock taking activities themselves are carried out at the end of each period or end of the year. Inventory valuation is only based on cost (purchase price). Meanwhile, in SAK ETAP, inventory valuation is carried out by measuring the lower of the cost and selling price less costs to complete and sell. In presenting its financial statements, its accounting inventory is disclosed in the financial statements (income statement and balance sheet).

Abstract

Cooperatives are business entities consisting of individuals or legal entities that carry out their activities based on the cooperative principle as a people's economic movement based on the principle of kinship. The purpose of Community Service is to develop and provide assistance to application programs for the preparation of financial reports. The application for preparing financial reports is made based on the Microsoft Excel application. Assistance is carried out by training certain operators or officers appointed by the cooperative management. The financial problems of small and medium enterprises and cooperatives can be minimized by preparing accrual-based financial reports. Accrual-based transactions will record all transactions when they occur, even though they are not directly related to cash. Sales and purchase transactions on credit will be recorded immediately when they occur. Thus, the financial condition becomes more orderly and orderly, and this is what happened at the Bueka Assakinah Gresik Cooperative, thus requiring assistance in preparing financial reports. The approach method used in solving partner problems is to conduct an initial survey to find out existing problems, which is then followed by training. And the guidance is given to the partners of the Bueka Assakinah Gresik Cooperative by providing training, especially in the preparation of financial reports, using Microsoft Excel-based programs. The results of the training provide benefits (1) Partners are able to compile financial reports, especially for the Bueka Assakinah Gresik cooperative, (2) Partners are able to read and analyze financial reports that explain financial conditions at a certain time, (3) Problems being faced can be solved, (4 ) Partners are able to understand the importance of financial reports for an institution.

Abstract

The implementation of the service aims to provide Islamic banking literacy related to regulations, systems and products from Islamic banking. The implementation of this activity uses the lecture method, implements and discussion sessions. The implementation of community service applies three sessions, namely session one, exposure to community service activities, session two exposure to entrepreneurship and session three exposure to material on Islamic banking financing. Community service was carried out at Jenanagan, Ponorogo Regency in collaboration with BMT Surya Abadi Jangan. The result of this community service activity is that literacy socialization activities have an impact on increasing sharia financial and banking education. The service participants fully understand and understand regulations, systems and various savings products, financing and services in Islamic banking. These findings show the importance of more intensive socialization in order to increase banking literacy in a complex society.

Abstract

Community service is carried out in Yoowilangun village, Manyar Gresik sub-district. The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on increasing the number of open unemployment in the community, and has an impact on decreasing income levels (economic crisis). Community empowerment efforts are carried out starting with understanding the community and its dynamics. The understanding needed is an understanding of the social order and community institutions as well as education related to financial management through financial literacy. The purpose of community service is to identify forms of community empowerment programs based on the potential and problems of Village Development during the COVID-19 pandemic, increase knowledge, skills of the main village communities related to financial management through financial literacy, understanding of bank financial institutions and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of rural communities through business strategies during the pandemic. . The service method is carried out online by providing education about applications that can be used in managing finances and competitive strategies to survive during the covid 19 pandemic. The results of the service are in the form of understanding the stages of financial literacy, the use and benefits of cash book applications, understanding the main banking about granting credit and marketing strategies during the pandemic.

Abstract

The New Normal era provides a great opportunity for companies to increase their turnover, but under different conditions the company faces marketing constraints (Ahmad, A.and, Nurhidaya, 2020). Facing the New Normal era, new economic drivers are needed, namely MSMEs and entrepreneurs, or what is now widely known as start-up. Entrepreneurship needs to be encouraged to increase national economic growth. This is because this sector is able to absorb as much as 97 percent of the total national workforce. In addition, the New Normal Era is a new challenge for MSMEs, including Young Entrepreneurs Start-up. They have become MSMEs which are now starting to be taken into account and dominated by Millennials, including in Gresik. This service aims to provide marketing strategy assistance using e-marketing by utilizing the currently trending TikTok Shop. The method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), namely approaches and techniques for involving the community in thought processes that take place during planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of community development programs. At the time of implementation, the activity was followed by 12 Young Entrepreneurs Start-up in Gresik. E-marketing assistance activities use the "TikTok Shop" application which is currently a trending social media among millennials through Google Playstore via Playstore with the search key "TikTok". As a result of the implementation of this service, there was an increase in the ability of Young Entrepreneurs Start-up to utilize social media TikTok for e-marketing as well as in terms of business development and product promotion at low cost and affordable and up to date.

This Service Program aims to develop the Barokah BUMDes business in Gredek Village, Gresik Regency based on local potential and strengthen governance so that BUMDes' performance gets better and contributes to the income and welfare of all villagers. The basis for formulating the goals of the service program refers to the results of observations (surveys) and preliminary interviews with the director of BUMDes Barokah, Gredek Village, Sit Sampeyan District, Gresik Regency who expressed his desire to increase productivity while developing BUMDes business and financial administration management capabilities so that BUMDes can be accountable and not become a money laundry institution. The existing business units are still not based on processing the main village products, namely agricultural villages where the majority of the residents work as rice farmers. The solution in an effort to develop the business and governance of BUMDes Barokah is by: (1) creating potential transactions for basic village needs, which have been created independently so far, will be managed as the Gredek village market (2) creating the potential of the Gredek village reservoir, which so far has only functioned as a place for irrigation and fish farming, will be packaged into fishing tourism with fish cultivation targeted at bringing in tourists who have a hobby of fishing as well as educational tours for elementary school students or playgroups with the potential for beautiful panoramic views. village rice fields.

However, activities to foster interest in entrepreneurship continue to be pursued including double track program activities, which are expected to increase motivation, as well as SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme needs to continue to carry out outreach, seminars, events, other festivals that lead to activities to increase entrepreneurial capacity so that they are increased quality and quantity. Therefore, training in entrepreneurship to innovate through design thinking is important in equipping prospective graduates to have the knowledge and preparation with the best assets they currently have. This activity is intended so that prospective graduates or high school students who have received this socialization will be able to have entrepreneurial skills that are useful when starting a business of their own. This activity was carried out offline at the SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme Gresik location. The method used with socialization is in the form of in-class seminars. The results of the dedication show that the participants have shown a good understanding of the effectuation material presented and the participants are ready to implement it on their current assets, businesses and products.

Abstract

Sidayu is a sub-district in the Gresik district which is located on the north coast of the island of Java. Its strategic location makes the potential for entrepreneurship even greater. Many micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are growing, ranging from food, beverages, crafts, to clothing. In order to protect the MSME actors, the Sidayu MSME Association was established, which is abbreviated as ASUMSI. Many trainings have been provided to support the smooth running of ASUMSI members' businesses, one of which is training on marketing. However, based on the results of interviews with several members of ASUMSI, it was found that there are still many businesses that are underdeveloped, mainly due to limitations in marketing products which are only limited to local areas. The purpose of this service activity is to provide stabilization for MSMEs in Sidayu District regarding what marketing strategies should be taken so that the business that is run can continue and develop. The activity was carried out at the Polindes Telaga Rambit Village, Purwodadi, Sidayu, on March 20, 2022 attended by ASUMSI members. The method used is counceling. During their activities, business actors are given exposure to material related to the STP (Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning) concept, then assisted to conduct an analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) in determining marketing strategy by incorporating the concept of the 4P strategy mix mix (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion). The results of this activity can be seen directly in the discussion session that participants feel they have learned new knowledge that is ready to be applied after returning from the event
