Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed at developing learning media using Lectora Ispire interactive multimedia on Buffer Solution lesson and knowing the levels of validity, practicality, and student response to the learning media developed. It was a Research and Development (R&D) with Luther development model that was limited to the fifth steptesting.  This research was administered at State Senior High School 9 Pekanbaru.  The subjects of this research were the lecturers, Chemistry subject teachers, and students.  The object was learning media using Lectora Ispire interactive multimedia on Buffer Solution lesson. Validation test questionnaire, practicality test questionnaire, student response test, and interview were the techniques of collecting the data. The data obtained then were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research findings showed that the media validity level was 90.5% with very valid criterion, the practicality level was 94.17% with very practical criterion, and student response to the learning media was 91.6% with very good criterion. Based on this research, it could be concluded that learning media using Lectora Ispire interactive multimedia on Buffer Solution lesson was very valid and practical, so it was proper to be used as learning media at school.Keywords : Learning Media, Lectora Inspire, Buffer SolutionAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif Lectora Ispire pada materi larutan penyangga dan mengetahui tingkat validitas, kepraktisan, dan respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model Luther sampai langkah kelima. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dosen, guru mata pelajaran Kimia, dan mahasiswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif Lectora Ispire pada materi larutan penyangga. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Angket uji validasi, angket uji kepraktisan, tes respon siswa, dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat validitas media sebesar 90,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid, tingkat kepraktisan 94,17% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, dan respon siswa terhadapmedia pembelajaran sebesar 91,6% dengan kriteria sangat baik.Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah.Keywords : Media Pembelajaran, Lectora Inspire, Larutan Penyangga

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed at designing Guided Note Taking (GNT) based module that was valid based on the validation by the experts of material and media, teacher practicality, and student response on Atomic Structure and Periodic System of the Elements lesson.  It was R&D (Research and Development) with 4-D development model.  It was administered at State Senior High School 12 Pekanbaru and it was conducted to the tenth-grade students of MIPA 4.  The module could be stated proper if it complied the valid and practical aspects. Validity could be seen from the results of validation that the validation sheet was used.  The percentage of the validation result by the experts of material overall was 94.74% and it was on very valid category.  The percentage of the validation result by the experts of media overall was 86.6% and it was on very valid category.  Practicality test was conducted to 3 teachers and it was obtained the result 84.44% and it was on very practical category. Student responses were obtained from 20 students, and the questionnaire result was 81.06% and it was on very good category. Keywords : Module, Guided Note Taking, Atomic Structure and Periodic System of the ElementsAbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya minat dan perhatian peserta didik dalam pembelajaran kimia sehingga diperlukan inovasi atau pembaharuan pada media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang modul berbasis Guided Note taking (GNT) yang layak berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dan media, kepraktisan guru, dan respon siswa pada materi Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik Unsur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D dengan model 4-D dengan tahapan (1) pendefenisian (define), (2) Perancangan (design), (3) Pengembangan (develop). Modul dapat dikatakan layak apabila memenuhi aspek valid dan praktis. Validitas dapat dilihat dari hasil validasi yang digunakan. Persentase hasil validasi ahli materi secara keseluruhan adalah 94,74% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Persentase hasil validasi ahli media secara keseluruhan adalah 86,6% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan dilakukan kepada 3 orang guru diperoleh hasil 84,44% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Respon siswa diperoleh dari 20 siswa, dan hasil angket sebesar 81,06% berada pada kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the facts found in the field that the teaching materials used at SMAN 2 Rambatan have not been able to attract students' interest in learning, so that students have difficulty understanding the material and solving problems related to the material. The purpose of this research is to produce a Chemo-Edutainment (CET)-based Student Worksheet on colloidal system material that is valid and practical. The type of research that I use is development research using a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The CET-based LKPD product was validated by two chemistry education lecturers and one chemistry teacher using a validation sheet. Practicality trials were carried out by 14 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 2 Rambatan using a response questionnaire. The results obtained are LKPD based on CET which has characteristics consisting of components including LKPD title, student identity, instructions for use, competencies to be achieved, chemistry info, simple experiments and practice questions in the form of educational games that attract interest. students to do the exercises, the last component is the existence of a golsarium and bibliography. The validity obtained by this CET-based LKPD obtained a percentage of 94.35% with very valid criteria. The practical results of this CET-based LKPD obtained a percentage of 93.80% with very practical criteria. With this, it can be concluded that the CET-based worksheets designed are valid and practical to be used as teaching materials in the learning process. Keywords: LKPD, Chemo-Edutaintment, Validity, PracticalityAbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta yang ditemukan di lapangan bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan di SMAN 2 Rambatan belum mampu menarik minat belajar peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi dan memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan materi tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis Chemo-Edutainment (CET) pada materi sistem koloid yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Produk LKPD berbasis CET divalidasi oleh dua orang dosen pendidikan kimia dan satu orang guru kimia dengan menggunakan lembar validasi.Uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh 14 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 2 Rambatan dengan menggunakan angket respon. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah LKPD berbasis CET yang memiliki ciri-ciri yang terdiri dari komponen meliputi judul LKPD, identitas peserta didik, petunjuk penggunaan, kompetensi yang akan dicapai, info kimia, praktikum sederhana dan soal latihan berupa permainan edukasi yang menarik minat peserta didik untuk mengerjakan latihan, komponen terakhir adalah adanya glosarium dan daftar pustaka. Validitas dari LKPD berbasis CET ini diperoleh persentase sebesar 94,35% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil praktikalitas LKPD berbasis CET ini diperoleh persentase sebesar 93,80% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis CET yang dirancang sudah valid dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

AbstractThe design of Islamic integrated teaching materials in chemistry subjects is an important effort to increase and grow the awareness of students from intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects. This study aims to design Islamic integrated comics teaching materials on the nature of chemistry, and determine the level of validity and practicality as well as student responses to the designed comics teaching materials. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model which includes 5 stages carried out namely information gathering, planning, development, testing, and final revision. The subjects of this research are material experts, Islamic religious experts, media experts, chemistry teachers and students of class X Science 1, and the object of research is an Islamic integrated comic on the material nature of chemistry. Comics are said to be feasible if they are valid and practical, with the percentage of validity obtained from material experts of 92.08% (very valid), the percentage of validity of Islamic religious experts is 76% (valid), the percentage of validity from media experts is 89.52% (very valid), the percentage of practicality obtained from chemistry teachers is 86.81% (very practical), and 80% of students give a very good response to the overall comic design. These results identify that Islamic integrated comics on the material nature of chemistry are valid and practical, further research is needed to test product productivity.Keywords : Teaching Materials, Comics, The Nature of Chemistry, Integrated Islam.AbstrakDesain bahan ajar terintegrasi Islam pada mata pelajaran kimia merupakan upaya penting untuk meningkatkan dan menumbuhkan kesadaran peserta didik dari aspek intelektual, emosional maupun spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain bahan ajar komik terintegrasi Islam pada materi hakikat ilmu kimia, dan mengetahui tingkat validitas dan praktilitas serta respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar komik yang didesain. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall dengan yang meliputi 5 tahapan yang dilakukan  yaitu pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan, uji coba, dan revisi akhir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli agama Islam, ahli media, guru-guru kimia serta peserta didik kelas X Sains 1, dan objek penelitian adalah komik terintegrasi Islam pada materi hakikat ilmu kimia. Komik dikatakan layak jika valid dan praktis, dengan persentase kevalidan yang diperoleh dari ahli materi sebesar 92,08% (sangat valid), persentase kevalidan dari ahli agama Islam sebesar 76% (valid), persentase kevalidan dari ahli media sebesar 89,52% (sangat valid), persentase kepraktisan yang diperoleh dari guru-guru kimia sebesar 86,81% (sangat praktis), dan 80% peserta didik memberikan respon yang sangat bagus terhadap keseluruhan desain komik. Dari hasil tersebut mengidentifikasikan bahwa komik terintegrasi Islam pada materi hakikat ilmu kimia valid dan praktis diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk menguji produktifitas produk.Kata Kunci : Bahan Ajar, Komik, Hakikat Ilmu Kimia, Terintegrasi Islam.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed at knowing whether there was or not an effect and increase of values of Community of Inquiry (CoI) based Blended Learning model toward student learning achievement. It was Quasi Experimental research—a research that used an Experimental group and a Control group determined the difference of two variables. The samples of this research were 2 groups—the tenth-grade students of Natural Science 4 (the Experimental group) that were 36 students taught by using Community of Inquiry based Blended Learning model and the students of Natural Science 5 (the Control group) that were 34 students taught by using Conventional learning. The techniques of collecting the data were written pretest and posttest. The collected data were analyzed by using Independent Sample t test and to see the effect of using the coefficient of determination. The final data processing results obtained tcount of 1.778 while the value of ttable at a significant level of 5% = 1.684 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Means there is an influence of blended learning model based on community of inquiry (CoI) with conventional learning models on student learning outcomes. To determine the magnitude of the effect of the treatment used the coefficient of determination formula and the results obtained by 0.04, so the coefficient of influence (Kp) obtained is equal to 4%.Keywords : Blended Learning, Community of Inquiry, Learning Achievement, Atomic Structure and Periodic System of the ElementsAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dan peningkatan nilai model Blended Learning berbasis Community of Inquiry (CoI) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Merupakan penelitian kuasi Eksperimental—penelitian yang menggunakan kelompok Eksperimen dan kelompok Kontrol menentukan perbedaan dua variabel. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 2 kelompok yaitu siswa kelas X IPA 4 (kelompok eksperimen) yang berjumlah 36 siswa yang diajar dengan model Blended Learning berbasis Community of Inquiry dan siswa IPA 5 (kelompok kontrol) yang sebanyak 34 siswa diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah pretest dan posttest tertulis. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan Independent Sample t-test dan untuk melihat pengaruhnya menggunakan koefisien determinasi. Hasil pengolahan data akhir diperoleh t-hitung sebesar 1,778 sedangkan nilai t-tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% = 1,684 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berarti ada pengaruh model pembelajaran blended learning berbasis community of inquiry (CoI) dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil.Kata Kunci: Blended Learning, Komunitas Inkuiri, Prestasi Belajar, Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik Unsur

Abstract

Abstract This research on the development of animated video media using the kinemaster application aims to determine the feasibility of chemistry learning media on hydrocarbon materials for SMAN 1 Inuman. The data collection instruments used were material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, linguist validation sheets and student response validation sheets. The data analysis technique used is by calculating the percentage score of the validation assessment. The results showed that the validation results met the valid categories of material experts by 91.93%, media experts by 90.00%, and linguists by 90.47%. This learning media also meets the valid category from the results of student responses with validation gains of 91.59%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the animated video learning media is very suitable to be used as a medium for learning chemistry on hydrocarbon materials.Keywords: Learning Media, Animation Videos, Kinemaster, Hydrocarbons    AbstrakPenelitian pengembangan media video animasi menggunakan aplikasi kinemaster ini betujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media pembelajaran kimia pada materi hidrokarbon di SMAN 1 Inuman. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi ahli bahasa dan angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara menghitung skor persentase penilaian validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil perolehan validasi memenuhi kategori valid dari ahli materi sebesar 91,93%, ahli media sebesar 90,00%, dan ahli bahasa sebesar 90,47%. Media pembelajaran ini juga memenuhi kategori valid  dari  hasil respon siswa dengan perolehan validasi sebesar 91,59%. AbstractThe problem behind this research is the unavailability of teaching materials that are effective and attract students' interest in learning. The teaching materials used during the chemistry learning process only utilize textbooks provided in the library and use student worksheets. This causes students to have difficulty understanding the concepts of chemistry, because textbooks tend to be monotonous and difficult to understand, moreover most of the material in chemistry learning is abstract so it needs a better explanation. Meanwhile, teachers have not developed interesting and easy-to-understand teaching materials due to time constraints. Based on this, the researchers conducted research on the development of SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society)-Based Chemistry E-Modules for Class XI Students on petroleum materials. This research uses 4-D research (define, design, develop, and disseminate). To find out the validity or practicality of an e-module, validity and practicality tests are carried out. The results showed that the validation of the SETS-based chemical e-module that had been designed was very valid with a percentage of 96.8%, and the practicality results were very practical with a percentage of 89.0%.Keywords : Development, E-Module, SETS ApproachAbstrakPermasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah belum tersedianya bahan ajar yang efektif dan menarik minat belajar siswa. Bahan ajar yang digunakan selama proses pembelajaran kimia hanya memanfaatkan buku teks yang disediakan di perpustakaan dan menggunakan lembar kerja Siswa. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep kimia, karena buku pelajaran cenderung monoton dan sulit dipahami, apalagi sebagian besar materi dalam pembelajaran kimia bersifat abstrak sehingga perlu penjelasan yang lebih baik. Sementara itu, Guru belum mengembangkan bahan ajar yang menarik dan mudah dipahami karena keterbatasan waktu. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan E-Modul Kimia Berbasis SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) untuk Siswa Kelas XI pada materi minyak bumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian 4-D (define, design, develop, dan disebarluaskan). Untuk mengetahui validitas atau kepraktisan suatu e-modul dilakukan uji validitas dan kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi e-modul kimia berbasis SETS yang telah dirancang sangat valid dengan persentase 96,8%, dan hasil kepraktisan sangat praktis dengan persentase 89,0%.Keywords : Pengembangan, E-Modul, Pendekatan SETS
