<![CDATA[A 52 year old male patient with complaints of weakness in the body. Initially the patient was brought to the Health Center with complaints of weakness since 3 days. Weakness is felt suddenly throughout the body and feels continuously. Complaints of weakness are also accompanied by a feeling of dizziness in the head. The patient also complained of frequent urination at night, urinating more than 10 times in one night. The patient also constantly feels thirsty, but his appetite has decreased since the last 2 years or so. The patient feels a loss of weight. In addition, the patient also complained of a wound on his left leg which had not healed since 1 year ago. Primary data were obtained through anamnesis and physical examination by conducting home visits, filling out family folders, and filling out patient files. The assessment was carried out based on the initial holistic diagnosis, process and end of the visit both quantitatively and qualitatively. Patients and families are given education about diabetes mellitus including the symptoms and complications that will arise, education about the patient's motivation to take medication regularly as well as educating and teaching patients about foot care and diabetes exercise. An approach with family doctor intervention is able to improve habits that are influential in the treatment of diabetes mellitus.]]>

<![CDATA[The government through the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia took a big step by issuing Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 24 of 2022 concerning Electronic Medical Records, whereby through this regulation health service facilities start from independent practice locations for doctors, dentists and/or other health workers, health centers, clinics , hospitals, pharmacies, health laboratories, centers and other Health Service Facilities determined by the Minister are required to implement Electronic Medical Records. Of course, this is a big breakthrough considering that currently the implementation of Electronic Medical Records in Indonesia is said to be not going too well and can even be said to be advanced compared to other countries. This is of course directly related to the infrastructure owned by Health Service Facilities in Indonesia. One of the considerations is the readiness of the Electronic System to be used later, both electronic systems prepared by health care facilities themselves to electronic systems prepared by third parties. There are several important things that must be considered by the electronic system to be able to carry out electronic medical records including the registration of the system as an electronic system operator, having minimum capabilities in accordance with Permenkes No. 24 of 2022 and the ability to maintain data security and protection. Some of these things are a challenge for Electronic Systems or Hospital Information Systems to be able to run Electronic Medical Records according to the provisions that have been set. If this cannot be done, it is likely that the system will receive sanctions up to the revocation of the operating permit.]]>

<![CDATA[Quality health services is one measure of satisfaction effect on the patient's desire to return to the institution that provides it effective health services. To meet the needs and desires of patients so that satisfaction can be obtained in the end can increase trust in the hospital through excellent service. One of the important issues to answer the strategy in the midst of a situation of decreased public trust in hospital services is "What is the operational strategy in improving quality, service value, patient satisfaction, cost efficiency, service process effectiveness, reducing "waste", and cultural management in hospitals ?”. So what can be a mindset approach to implementing this is "Kaizen (5R)". This approach can be a tool for cultivating a culture of change directed at increasing the value of patient care (customer value) simultaneously with efficiency efforts. The implementation of 5R can be carried out in line with increasing discipline in the environment around the workplace, starting with simplifying the storage of the equipment needed in the work environment, tidying up the arrangement, cleaning, caring for and caring for it and doing it continuously will make it a pleasant workplace through the formation of work discipline.]]>

<![CDATA[The importance of behavior change communication, as shown in Pillar 2 (two) of the National Behavior Change Strategy, has been mentioned in many Government policies. Pillar 2 aims to increase public knowledge and awareness so as to trigger the implementation of positive behaviors to prevent stunting in the 1000 HPK period. The stunting convergence team of Kampar Regency has not succeeded in documenting the KPP strategy, one of which is because the KPP has not been understood so well that it is considered not to have discussed priorities. One alternative to increase capacity is to provide a modification module for the KPP strategy, it is necessary to conduct a study aimed at whether the provision of a modified module for the formulation of the KPP strategy is effective in improving the behavior of the stunting convergence team. The treatment hypothesis in this study is that the provision of a modification module for the formulation of the KPP strategy is effective in increasing the behavior of the stunting convergence team. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design with a sample of 30 respondents (15 treatments and 15 controls) members of the stunting convergence team. Data collection techniques with pre and post. Data analysis was carried out by normality test, homogeneity test, independent t test and Normalize Gene test (N-Gain score) if there was a significant difference in the posttest value of the treatment with the control group, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, the authors conclude that: there is a significant difference in the data before and after the level of knowledge from 13 respondents (43.3%) to the category of high knowledge 10 (33.3%), negative attitude changes are 14 respondents (46). ,7%) to the category of positive attitude which is 12 (40%) and the category of negative behavior is 13 (43.3%) to the category of positive attitude which is 10 (33.3%). The provision of a modified module for the formulation of an effective KPP strategy in increasing the knowledge of the stunting convergence team with the value of Sig. 0.045 and OR 0.022, presenting a modification module for the formulation of an effective KPP strategy in changing the attitude of the stunting convergence team with a Sig value. 0.022 and OR 0.063, presenting a modified module for KPP strategy formulation that is not effective in changing the behavior/actions of the stunting convergence team with a Sig value. 0.135 and OR 3.250. Modification module for the preparation of the KPP strategy can be an alternative in increasing knowledge, attitudes, but it is necessary to provide regular assistance and measurement to respondents so that changes in behavior can be seen more clearly. The limitations of the study in terms of time due to changes in behavior required measurements, longer observations and a larger number of samples to be able to see optimal results.]]>

<![CDATA[The pre-operative period is strongly associated with increased anxiety levels amongst patients, resulting in emotional, cognitive, or physiological responses. Anxiety in patients that is not managed properly can cause psychological and physical changes, namely an increase in sympathetic nerve work associated with increased breathing frequency, heart rate, blood pressure, and cold sweats. The Benson relaxation method is one of the nursing interventions in the form of relaxation that focuses the mind by combining the beliefs of each individual. Benson relaxation is a subjective stress management method that can have the effect of reducing anxiety levels, mood disorders, improving sleep quality, and reducing pain. This case study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of Benson relaxation in reducing anxiety in pre-operative patients. The methodology utilised in this paper is a case study that examined the application of Benson relaxation interventions before surgery during 2 sessions of 20-35 minutes applying the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) instrument to assess the patient's anxiety level. The results of this case study indicate that the provision of Benson relaxation therapy to both respondents proved effective in reducing anxiety levels before surgery as evidenced by the average decrease in HAM-A scores for both respondents of 6.5 from moderate to mild anxiety.]]>

<![CDATA[Health services are one's expectations of the quality obtained in accordance with the desired expectations, such as health services, there are services in hospitals that include customers, such as patients for treatment from doctors in hospitals where patients get the best service from the hospital. The aim of the study was to determine the factors that influence the quality of service at the Pidie Jaya Hospital, Pidie Jaya Regency. The research design uses a quantitative method which is carried out by an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population in this study were all outpatients with a total of 6,685 patients. The sample used random sampling technique as many as 99 patients. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of technical competence p = 0.000, efficiency p = 0.000, effectiveness p = 0.000, satisfaction p = 0.000 and patient safety p = 0.000 on the quality of service in Pidie Jaya Hospital, Pidie Jaya Regency. While the most dominant factor is satisfaction p = 0.000 and 95% CI = 5,389-316,539 with OR = 41,154.The conclusion from this study is that there is an influence of technical competency, efficiency, effectiveness, satisfaction, and patient safety on service quality in Pidie Jaya Hospital, Pidie Jaya Regency. It is recommended for the hospital to adopt policies in order to improve the quality of hospital services in order to produce optimal performance such as conducting training for health workers in hospitals based on their competence and conducting supervision and monitoring so that implementation in the field can run optimally.]]>

<![CDATA[The hospital pharmacy installation is an important unit in the hospital that is responsible for pharmaceutical activities. Pharmacy is the last unit and one of the important parts that determine patient satisfaction, to improve the service process in operations management, the method that can be used is lean six sigma to help improve service quality and patient satisfaction by minimizing errors and waiting times through organizing and managing the hospital management system. The purpose of this study is to identify an overview of the use of lean six sigma in drug management in hospitals. This research method is a literature review study with the search engine used in literature searches, namely google scholar according to the keywords of the topic to be studied, namely lean six sigma methods, hospital drug management, lean six sigma implementation, the criteria for articles used are based on publications published between 2019 and 2023. The results showed that there is waste in drug/pharmacy management in hospitals. The problems related to pharmacy include too long waiting times, overprocessing of drug prescriptions, and waste of motion in file searches. SIMRS error, lack of trained human resources, uncertainty of drug prices, still done manually are triggers for the occurrence of worthless processes. Waste reduction can be done with the lean six sigma method which can fix problems that often occur in pharmaceutical installations by being applied through standardized calculations.]]>

<![CDATA[Introduce Elderly exercise is a form of physical exercise that has a good influence on the level of physical ability of the elderly, increases relaxation and helps improve sleep quality, especially in elderly people with hypertension. The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of elderly exercise on the sleep quality of the elderly with hypertension in the Apela I Village, Bitung. This research was conducted in the Apela I Village, Bitung from June to July 2022. The population were the elderly with hypertension, amounted to 15 respondents. This research used a pre experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling. Data collection was done by giving questionnaires and then was processed by running the SPSS computer program version 16.0 to be analyzed by a Mc Nemar test with the significance level ? = 0,05. From the Mc Nemar test, it was obtained that the ? value = 0,000 < ? = 0,05. Meaning there is an effect of elderly exercise on the sleep quality of the elderly with hypertension in the Apela I Village, Bitung. The conclusion of this research is that there is an effect of elderly exercise on the sleep quality of the elderly with hypertension in the Apela I Village, Bitung. It is expected that this result will serve as basic knowledge for students and useful for further developments in the nursing field.]]>

<![CDATA[Elderly is a phase of life that will be experienced by every human as well as aging. The aging process causes various physical, biological, mental and socio- economic problems. This process as a result of a degenerative (aging) process. Therefore, non-communicable diseases often occur in the elderly. Non-communicable diseases that are often experienced by the elderly include hypertension, stroke, heart disease, diabetes mellitus and joint inflammation or rheumatism. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and independency of elderly in fulfilling ADL in Bailang Village, Area 5, Bunaken District, Manado City.This study used a descriptive analytic design with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling with number of samples in this study were 33 respondents. The research instrument for data collection used in this study is a questionnaire. Furthermore, the data that has been collected is processed using computer program SPSS version 21 and analysed using statistical tests Chi-square with a significance level (?) 0.005.The study results showed that 18 (54.5%) respondents had good family support and 15 (45.5%) respondents had lack family support. Chi-square test obtained value = 0.003 (<0.005), That means there is a significant relationship between family support and the independency of the elderly in fulfilling Activity daily Living (ADL).The conclusion of this study is there is a relationship between family support and the level of independency of the elderly in fulfilling ADL in Bailang Village, Area V, Bunaken District, Manado City. The suggestions from this study are hopefully the family can understand the problems of the elderly, give support, and appreciation if elderly are able to do the activities independently.]]>

<![CDATA[Lack of Protein Energy (K.E.P) will occur when the body's need for calories, protein or both is not fulfilled by the diet. Many factors influence the occurrence of K.E.P including the knowledge and attitudes of parents of toddlers in improving the nutritional status of toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of parents of toddlers about K.E.P (Energy Protein Deficiency) with parents' behavior in improving the nutritional status of toddlers in Manado City. The design of this study used the Correlation Descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach, the population was all parents who had toddlers in the city of Manado with 51 people with the sample technique being total sampling, data collection using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the chi square statistical test with a significance of ?=0.05 using a computerized program. The results of the univariate analysis found that 51% of respondents had moderate knowledge about K.E.P, 52.9% of respondents had a negative attitude, 52.9% of respondents had inappropriate behavior. After the statistical tests were carried out, the p value was 0.004, meaning that there was a relationship between knowledge and parental behavior. The p value was 0.012, meaning that there was a relationship between parental attitudes and parental behavior. From the results above it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers and parents' behavior in improving the nutritional status of toddlers so it is suggested to the land to provide counseling about health, especially K.E.P and evaluate it because it will influence parental behavior.]]>
