Abstract

This research is research that aims to determine the increase in learning Indonesian when applying the Role Playing learning method in class III SDN 3 Bungatan. The implementation of this study was planned in two cycles. The first cycle of the implementation of learning jarimatika in 3 meetings. And the second cycle of the implementation of learning jarimatika in 3 meetings as well. The final results of cycle 1 are compared with the results of cycle 2 to determine the level of increase. The level of results is as follows: in cycle I the lowest score was 50 and the highest score was 95, with an average score of 67.9 and a completeness percentage of 52.9%. Whereas in cycle II the highest score was 100 and the lowest score was 60, with an average score of 81.2 and a completeness score of 88.2%.

Abstract

Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects taught from elementary school to university level. One of the goals of mathematics subjects taught at the elementary school level is to equip students to become independent learners and able to find mathematical concepts that can be used in solving problems that arise in everyday life. And the purpose of this research is to improve students' numeracy skills after being given the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model. The methodology used in this study is a research instrument in the form of a question sheet given to students used for research data, and an assessment instrument given to students in the form of working on questions containing numeration, counting fractions, multiplication, subtraction and division where the research subject is are 5th grade students of SD Negeri Pujerbaru 02 as many as 6 children using 2 stages of research, namely pretest and posttest. The results of the study proved that using the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) model was successful and had a positive impact on increasing students' knowledge and numeracy skills in the classroom

Abstract

This study aims to analyze logical-mathematical intelligence in problem-solving in terms of adversity quotient. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects were fifth-semester students of the Tarbiyah Faculty, Ibrahimy University. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The questionnaire was conducted using a Likert adversity quotient scale. The results of the Likert adversity quotient scale analysis of students are grouped into 3 categories, namely: quitter, camper, and climber. Tests in the form of problem-solving questions were carried out to measure students' logical-mathematical intelligence. Interviews were conducted with 6 students based on the adversity quotient category and level of ability on the test results. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner, in the form of a theory of induction and data reduction. The results of the research based on the adversity quotient category and ability test results show that: 1) In the quitter category, there are 3 students with low ability (10%). 2) In the camper category, there are 2 students with low ability (6.7%), 10 students with medium ability (33.3%), and 3 students with high ability (10%). 3) In The climber category, there are 6 students with moderate abilities (20%) and 6 students with high abilities (20%).

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an environment and learning process that enables students to actively realize their potential. Education is organized to obtain religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character and skills needed in society, nation and state. Various steps to improve the curriculum, improve the teaching system, improve the quality of teacher qualifications, etc. are investments to improve the quality of learning. Some of the causes of low student learning outcomes on geometric surfaces are abstract materials on geometric surfaces. Students have difficulty distinguishing the sides of a flat shape from a geometric shape, the broad concept of an unstable flat shape, and the use of inappropriate materials or not using media that can improve student learning outcomes. Another problem is teachers. When teaching in class, the majority of teachers still pay little attention to students' thinking skills, the media used is less flexible, meaning that it is difficult to increase student motivation and learning models are usually eliminated. Coupled with the use of a learning approach that makes students passive in the teaching and learning process, resulting in students not being interested in the lesson. This study aims to achieve the goal of increasing student learning outcomes through the use of geometric media in learning mathematics. This type of research is classroom action research. According to Wardan (2002: 1.4) Educational action research is research conducted by teachers in their classes and in collaboration between researchers and practitioners (teachers and school principals). The research process was carried out in two cycles (cycles I and II), each of which included problem identification, planning, action and observation, and reflection. The results of the first cycle test showed that out of 25 students in class VI only 14 students or (56%) were declared to have completed their studies by obtaining a score above the KKM (65), while 11 students or (44%) were stated to have not completed their studies with scores below 65 with an average value of 65.7. The results of the ability test in cycle II showed that 25 students in class VI could be declared complete in learning, but there were several students who got the same results as the KKM. From the analysis of test results in cycle II, it was found that the class average reached 82.9 out of 25 students, all students had scored 65 and above or 100%. Abstract

Mathematics education in class VI UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 5 academic year 2022/2023 is not satisfactory because the average result of the concept test regarding positive and negative integers is 60, which is less than the minimum criteria for passing, namely 65. In addition, students often feel afraid in studying mathematics. The aim of the research was to find out the use of instructional media to improve the ability to count positive and negative integers in mathematics for class VI students of UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 5 Year 2022/2023 or not. This type of study is Classroom Action Research (action research). [1] classroom action research is research conducted by educators in classrooms and involves collaboration between researchers and practitioners such as teachers and school principals. The research procedure consisted of two stages (cycle I and cycle II) with each stage covering problem identification, planning, implementing actions and observing, as well as reflecting and changing plans. The purpose of this classroom action research was to determine the effectiveness of using number line learning media in improving the ability of class VI students at UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 5 in calculating positive and negative integers. The results in the first cycle of students' ability to calculate integers have shown improvement, but not in accordance with the expectations of researchers. After discussing data analysis and learning mathematics, especially counting positive and negative integers using a number line, Cycle II showed significant changes. It can be seen that student participation in learning increases with more intensive activities. Students enthusiastically pay attention to and answer teacher questions and are more active in showing initiative and creativity.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of class IIB students at SDN Kebonagung 2 Sukodono in adding material in mathematics lessons became the trigger for this research. This is due to the lack of effectiveness of teachers in the learning process in using learning methods. Students who are still confused and find it difficult to imagine what is being learned because they have not mastered the additional material properly and correctly. so that the motivation of students in participating in mathematics learning material is still not optimal. From the explanation of this problem, the purpose of this exam is to further develop material for additional mathematics learning outcomes by applying the cooperative learning model for NHT class IIB students at SDN Kebonagung 2 Sukodono. Two cycles of classroom action research were used in this improvement strategy. Each cycle comprises of four phases including: preparing, carrying out, observing, and contemplating (reflection). Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in the Natural Sciences subject on the topic of Style, this is evidenced by the pre-cycle learning outcomes, out of 28 students only 6 students or (21.43%) complete, while 22 students or (78.57%) ) is not complete. The purpose of this research is to find out: How can the application of the disclosure method improve student learning outcomes in learning the topic Natural Science in Grade IV students at SD Free Methodist 2 Medan? Abstract

Mathematical concepts are abstract, while students think concretely. Students' understanding is easier when connected with concrete objects around students. As at UPT SDN 43 Gresik who had difficulty working on questions about counting operations for distance units and building spaces in grade 6. This study aims to find out how the application of environmental-based learning media and traditional games (boy-boyan) to improve learning outcomes of mathematics in building materials. and the distance unit for grade 6 students at UPT SDN 43 Gresik. The researcher presents the results of research quantitatively descriptive of learning Mathematics by using descriptive methods with a quantitative approach. The location of this research is in Pancor, Sidogedungbatu, Sangkapura-Gresik, East Java on Monday, February 27, 2023. The subjects of the research are the 6th grade students of UPT SDN 43 Gresik, totaling 12 people and the object is the students' mathematics learning outcomes. The instruments used were observation of student activities, interview guidelines, and multiplechoice tests (pre-test and post-test). Then, the data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and tests. The data analysis technique is descriptive quantitative. In cycle 1, mathematics learning outcomes are still low. Meanwhile, in cycle 2, mathematics learning outcomes increased. It can be concluded that the application of environmental-based learning media and traditional games (boy-boyan) has an effect on the results of the first and second cycles of research.

Abstract

This study examined how SMK Puspa Bangsa Banyuwangi first-graders used speed reading to improve their reading comprehension. This study was conducted in class X-1, which included 40 students, with the help of a writer and an observer. A classroom action research project (CAR) was used to carry out the research. The outcome demonstrated that the students' reading abilities might be improved by using the speed reading strategy. If the teacher has the ability to arrange learning in the classroom by engaging activities proportionately in the teaching process, the use of speed reading techniques might be successful. By providing enough study facilities and infrastructure, a conducive learning environment was maintained. The presence of students' positive responses and their active engagement in each learning activity demonstrated the speed reading technique's effectiveness.
