Attaqwa: Journal of Islamic Education (p-ISSN 1693-0649 e-ISSN: 2620-3901) is published by Islamic Religious Education Study Program of Islamic Institute of Daruttaqwa Gresik, East Java, Indonesia. Abstract

This research discusses the less of students’ motivation in reading al qur’an as khotmil qur’an activity at MA Darul Faizin Assalfiyah Catak Gayam Mojowarno. The research result shows that this activity increased students’s motivation to learn especially in reding al qur’an. The head master supported it by giving reward to the class that was active in joing the khotmil qur’an activity, and punished those who did not join it. This activity contributed to students’ smoothness in reading al qur’an. Khotmil qur’an is done twice a week in rotation from class to another. And the students’ motivation is proved by their willingness to smoothen the reading of al qur’an becauseof the reward and punishment, and they also want to strngthens the kinship.

Abstract

Each village must have a different tradition, culture, or habits. The tradition is also a local wealth owned by the nation, must always be maintained, preserved and also maintained so that the tradition is not extinct. No exception traditions that exist in the land of Java so much, such as the slametan tradition, both in the context of slametan event of pregnancy, marriage, circumcision or slametan tradition of death. Each has a certain way of doing it, although there are also some who have the same way. The Javanese slametan tradition in particular is the same as alms in the context of the Arabic language. So in a number of propositions both sourced from the Qur'an and the hadith are not explained in detail so that each region has a way and form a particular dish, so is not same between the form of dishes in East Java with Central Java, and so forth. Why is that, because this is influenced by the topography, history and also the hierarchy of each region. However, the context is the same magnitude that is almsgiving but the form is different. So in this case there is no need to debate between alms and slametan.

Abstract

Arabic is a product of a civilization that is a guide for the Muslim community and a reference for understanding the Qur'an, both from the Arabs themselves as native speakers, as well as non-native Arabic. The importance of language covers almost all areas of life because it is everything that is lived, experienced, felt, and thought of to someone that can only be known by others if it has been expressed in language, either written or spoken language. One of the features of Arabic according to other languages ??is that Arabic is very rich in using vocabulary, both in terms of the number of vocabulary and in terms of its form. This study used qualitative research methods. This research is qualitative. The method used is a descriptive method with data collection techniques through literature study. The data was collected using reading and writing techniques, then the data was analyzed and presented in the form of a description. this study is a literature review using content analysis techniques (content analysis). Content Analysis is a research technique that is used to make inferences that are replicable and valid in terms of data by taking into account the context. Then the data is analyzed descriptively and analyzed qualitatively to reveal the meaning of word changes and the factors of change. From this research, several examples of changes in meaning are broadened, narrowed, and changed in total meaning

Abstract

This paper is about the pattern of cooperation between the committee and the head of the madrasa in the form of a monthly meeting. On the agenda of the monthly meeting usually discuss what are the problems that exist, or reporting about the financial that has been obtained and issued. In cooperation between the committee and the head of the madrasah, individuals are established in a good relationship, with the concept of mutual respect and mutual respect. Relationships that, like if a problem occurs, can be solved by giving suggestions or considerations in solving existing problems or with communication links, holding meetings for deliberations to reach consensus. In addition, relationships are woven by providing motivation and support in development. The relationship is horizontal means that the line has a specific goal including coordinating tasks, sharing information for planning and activities, solving problems that arise between people who are in the same level, guaranteeing the same understanding.

Abstract

This article intends to photograph the implementation of Bahtsul Masail LBM HM Al-Mahrusiyah Putra and relate it to problem solving methods. This forum is an effort so that the students are able to contextualize the understanding they get from the yellow book into actual problems and try to describe and trace the basis of the arguments that have been used by previous scholars in formulating a law. The focus of this research is; 1) how the practice of bahtsul masail as a problem solving method in the learning of contextual Jurisprudence in LBM HM Al-Mahrusiyah Putra, 2) how do the students respond to the practice of bahtsul masail as a problem solving method in contextual learning in LBM HM Al-Mahrusiyah Putra. With a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection using interview, observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques, obtained results; bahtsul masail at LBM HM Al-Mahrusiyah Putra was good enough. The method used in the forum is broadly the same as the problem solving method. Santri who actively participated in bahtsul masail showed a positive response to the implementation of the forum. Whereas the less active santri showed a passive response and their interest tended to diminish.

Abstract

Learning by Student Facilitator And Explaining Method influences the learning achievement of students. Student Facilitator And Explaining is a series of learning activities beginning with teacher delivering the material by demonstration, then students are given opportunity to explain back to other students using other forms, such as charts, maps or concepts. Implementation of learning with this technique invites students to participate actively in learning. Students observe the material through demonstration. Students note important things that are demonstrated by the teacher, make conclusions. Furthermore, students also make a chart of the teacher's explanation as material to explain back to other students. The learning process with this technique students can increase activity, motivation, and creative thinking that makes learning more interesting and enjoyable. Students are not only as learning objects, but also as subjects who understand concepts through observation, discovering, and constructing the concepts owned by students with newly acquired concepts so that their learning achievement increases. Learning achievement achieved by someone is the result of interaction various factors that influence both internal and environmental factors.

Abstract

Religious education is one of the determinants of the future for every individual. Religious education is the foundation of behavior for individuals because religion is related to the beliefs possessed by the individual. Human behavior in millennial times is easily influenced by the environment. Millennial era marked by the use of social media in various aspects of life makes it easier for the environment to influence individual behavior. The development of modern technology makes the lifestyle more modern, with this situation the process of religious education in millennial families needs to be re-understood to be able to produce religious education that remains optimal. This research was conducted by qualitative methods to millennial families in Gresik district. The results showed that millennial parents showed efforts to provide religious education to children with formal education in madrasas and practical religious education by parents. The ability of children regarding education in millennial families is emphasized in the discipline in carrying out compulsory prayer, fasting and good morals. As millennial families the main obstacle in implementing Islamic religious education in children, the presence of gadgets becomes an obstacle because when children play it is easy to forget the time

Abstract

One of Islamic education aims is shaping the personality of real individual Muslims in accordance with the values of Islamic religion. Islamic education empirically refers to Islamic educational institutions, one of which is madrasa diniyyah using yellow books as the main source of teaching. The writing of this article uses descriptive deductive and inductive analysis and uses some data from the results of several literatures, observations, interviews, and documentation. The analysis found how the learning design to read the yellow book designed in Madrasa Diniyyah of Daruttaqwa Gresik using the Dick and Carey learning design model. There are ten steps in the Dick and Carey model including 1) Identifying the learning objectives, 2) Carrying out an analysis of learning, 3) Analyzing learners and learning context, 4) Formulating performance goals, 5) Developing assessment instruments, 6) Developing learning strategies, 7) Developing learning materials, 8) Conducting formative evaluations, 9) Revising learning program drafts, and 10) Conducting summative evaluations. The learning program to read yellow books designed at Madrasa Diniyyah of Daruttaqwa Gresik uses all the steps of the Dick and Carey learning design model completely without a single step left.

Abstract

This study aims to identify behavioral guidance for elementary school students and madrasah ibtidaiyah in East Java. The results showed: 1) specific strategies were not found in fostering student behavior based on Islamic religious education in primary schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah in East Java. Development of student behavior carried out in schools is still in general 2) strategies for developing student behavior must be developed in schools based on Islamic education to make Islamic religious education the main subject used to foster student behavior. Islamic education in addition to teaching religion, must also instill and familiarize good attitudes and behavior. Other important aspects that need to be considered in the framework of fostering effective behavior in schools are the vision, mission, and goals of the school, and togetherness. There is a clear and detailed program, covering all subjects and all teachers. There is a special facility and team support for the implementation of student behavior development programs based on the Islamic religion.

Abstract

Humans have different degrees of potential, historical background, and future expectations. Because of differences, humans can come together. Cooperative learning consciously creates successive interactions, so that the source of learning for students is not only teachers and textbooks but also fellow students. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality and student learning achievement after the application of the Think-Pair-Share type of cooperative learning model with quipper to class XII MIPA-4 students of SMAN 1 Sidayu and to influence student learning motivation after applying the Cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share with quipper. This study used action research in three rounds. Each round consists of four stages: design, activity, observation, and reflection. The targets of this study were students of class XII MIPA-4of SMAN 1 Sidayu. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analyst found that the quality of student learning has increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (66.67%), cycle II (77.78%), cycle III (88.89%). Thing-Pair-Share type of cooperative learning model can have a positive effect on student motivation in class XII MIPA-4of SMAN 1 Sidayu, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning mathematics.
