The journal accepts original research articles and proposals for special issues. We strongly recommend that authors consult back issues of EJHEAA for examples of topics of interest to our readership and to ensure that your proposed article is in conversation with any prior articles in the same topic area published in EJHEAA or other higher education journals. The articles that are part of a special issue do not all necessarily have to have an explicit European focus as long as the overall theme of the special issue fits the scope of this journal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the influence of problem-based learning (PBL) models on problem-solving skills in terms of students' learning styles carried out in class VIII of SMPN 1 Geneng. The method used in this study is quantitative. The sampling technique in this study is random sampling which will later be taken two classes as experimental classes and control classes. The sample of this study was class VIIIG and class VIIIH with 32 students in class VIIIG as experimental samples and 33 students in class VIIIH as control classes with a population of 268 class VIII students. The study used several instruments collected through problem-solving skills questionnaires, learning style questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, teacher interview sheets, and problem-solving skills test instruments before and after the test. In this study the data collection technique used was ANOVA with the results of this study indicate that the problem-based learning (PBL) model affects students' problem-solving abilities. Students' problem-solving skills are influenced by their learning styles. The test results showed a Sig value level of 0.80> 0.05, this indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the learning model (PBL) has a different influence on problem-solving skills in terms of students' learning styles on the material on earth structure in class VIII of SMPN 1 Geneng.

Abstract

Teachers as human resources have a very important role in achieving the goals of educational institutions. Paying attention to teacher job satisfaction is an important step to improve the quality of education and ensure their welfare. Therefore, in-depth research is needed on the factors that influence teacher job satisfaction, as a basis for evaluating management policies and practices in educational institutions. This paper presents a study of the influence of compensation, work environment, and extrinsic motivation on teacher job satisfaction at the Roudlotul Jannah Education Foundation. This research is a type of quantitative research. The subjects in this research were teachers at the Roudlotul Jannah Education Foundation. The technique used in sampling was a saturated sampling technique with a total of 46 respondents. The method used in analyzing is multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that the compensation variable has a significant positive effect on teacher job satisfaction with a value of t count 6,077 > t-table 1,681952, the work environment variable has a significant positive effect on teacher job satisfaction with a value of t count 2,653 > t-table 1,681952, then the extrinsic motivation variable has a significant positive effect on teacher job satisfaction with a calculated t value 2,125 > t-table 1,681952, while the variables of compensation, work environment, and extrinsic motivation simultaneously have a significant positive effect on teacher job satisfaction at the Roudlotul Jannah Education Foundation.

Abstract

The article is aimed at developing the literacy of the teaching staff and students of higher educational institutions on the use of information systems in the organization of independent study of students in higher educational institutions and contains useful information about the structure, capabilities, and practical application of the LMS Moodle platform. The LMS Moodle platform is an open electronic system that has been used by many universities around the world for many years. The system can be configured according to the specifics of education in each higher education institution, which makes it a user-friendly interface. This platform can be effectively used for a certain degree of automation of the educational process, especially in the organization of independent study of students. Currently, a credit-modular education system is being widely implemented in higher educational institutions of the country. The article provides illustrative examples of the application of many functions and procedures of the Moodle platform, wider use of the program's capabilities, especially the use of graphical capabilities when creating content. This article can be used by teachers, students, teachers and specialists of higher educational institutions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the integration of prayer in the management of Islamic boarding school education is an important topic to study in the context of the development of religious culture and spiritual leadership in Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to explore how the integration of prayer can build religious culture and spiritual leadership in Islamic boarding schools. A qualitative approach with a case study method is used to explore this phenomenon. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation in several Islamic boarding schools in Madura, East Java. The results of the study show that shalawat plays a significant role in the daily life of students and the management of Islamic boarding schools. The integration of prayer helps create a religious atmosphere, improve student discipline, and strengthen spiritual leadership in Islamic boarding schools. The implication of this study is the importance of adopting the integration of prayer as a managerial strategy in pesantren education to form religious character and effective leadership.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan efektivitas menghafal Al-Qur’an dalam upaya membentuk karakter siswa di SMP Taruna jaya Surabaya. Permasalahan yang dirumuskan 1) Apa Strategi yang diterapkan dalam pembentukan karakter melalui program menghafal Alquran di SMP Taruna jaya surabaya? 2) Bagaimana efektivitas program menghafal Alquran terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa di SMP Taruna jaya surabaya?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode kualitatif dengan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yakni wawancara. Hasil penelitian yakni efektivitas menghafal Al-Quran memiliki hubungan yang baik dengan pembentukan karakter siswa. selaku penulis melakukan penelitian di SMP Taruna Jaya Surabaya. Bahwa setelah mengikuti program tahfidz Al-Quran SMP Taruna Jaya yang salah satu kurikulumnya, anak-anak semakin bersemangat terhadap hal-hal yang baik, seperti mencintai shalat berjamaah, menghargai hafalan shalat, dan semakin taat pada nasehat orang lain. lebih tua, dan memiliki antusiasme yang lebih besar untuk belajar dengan teman-teman seusianya. Hal ini dapat menjadi contoh atau model bagi fasilitas pendidikan anak usia dini lainnya untuk mengadopsi inisiatif serupa guna menghasilkan generasi yang lebih baik dan lebih bermoral

Abstract

The determination of drug shelf life is vital for ensuring quality and stability, considering factors such as extraction, storage, transportation, and others to establish ideal storage conditions and expiration dates. While standard stability tests follow industry guidelines, the unique challenges posed by conducting accelerated tests for some temperature-sensitive drugs, such as herbal medicines, necessitate reliance on natural (continuous) tests as the primary method for determining stability. Positive results from accelerated tests may indicate that stability can be maintained despite short-term deviations under normal storage conditions. Consequently, real-time continuous testing plays a pivotal role in determining and validating the optimal shelf life following drug registration, simulating actual storage conditions during circulation. In light of these considerations, the shelf life of Escin was determined only through natural testing

It is imperative for pharmacy experts to ascertain the shelf life of drugs by studying various factors such as extraction, storage, transportation, and more to establish ideal storage conditions and expiration dates. The study further explores the qualities that define an ideal and wise woman according to Ibn Sina, emphasizing her impact on the spiritual and moral upbringing of children. Additionally, the article discusses the personal expression of parents and how their behavior and values shape the character and ethics of their offspring. The duties and responsibilities of both parents in fostering a nurturing and morally sound environment for their children are scrutinized.
