Abstract

Bekasi Regency, there are several areas that often experience floods, one of which is Labansari Village, East Cikarang. This village is a flood-prone area, due to its geographical factors, where this area is a confluence of 2 rivers, namely the Cibeet and Citarum Rivers. In this regard, it is necessary to reduce disaster risk through increased resilience. In order to increase resilience, resilience assessment is an important step, because through a resilience assessment, the results can determine whether a community is deemed capable of absorbing shocks, repairing damage and adapting to disasters. Resilience assessment is carried out using the concept of CDRI (Climate & Disaster Resilience Initiative). CDRI is used, because it is in accordance with the conditions of the selected research location. In addition, the resilience that is measured focuses on social aspects, because resilience to natural disasters is obtained from relationships or connections between people, and has links with the field of social work. This study aims to: (1) Assess the resilience of social aspects to floods using the CDRI concept and (2) Explain the role of social workers to increase regional resilience to floods according to social aspects. Quantitative descriptive method was used in this study, with data collection using a survey method. The results of the social aspect resilience assessment show that Labansari Village has high resilience with a value of 3.59. As for some of the variables in it, it is necessary to improve, where the role of social workers can be applied to support the increase in several resilience variables.Abstract is written concisely and factually, includes the purpose of research, the method of research, the result and conclusion of research. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the Development of a Social Entrepreneurship Training Design is effective and able to increase the independence of socio-economic vulnerable women in a series of good and systematic process of chicken pandan craft training that is carried out on an ongoing basis starting from the stages: preparation, identification of needs, criteria and indicators of success, implementation of training, evaluation, and partnerships. This is evidenced by the increased independence of the six research subjects namely AS, LS, SP, AC, PL, and BC. Development of Social Entrepreneurship Training Design can be one of the references in perfecting the concept of social entrepreneurship training and can contribute to providing the development of social entrepreneurship training designs in social work practices with poverty.

The technique of practicable poses is the result of engineering behavior change technology which is a collaboration of positive reinforcement techniques and behavioral exercises with the aim of reducing the aggressive behavior of immulsive victims of drug abuse who are undergoing a process of social rehabilitation. The purpose of this study is to apply the technique of practicable poses for victims of drug abuse and examine the effectiveness of the engineering technology in reducing aggressive impulsive behavior through psychoeducational sessions, role-playing, peace counseling, relaxation, giving positive reinforcement. Impulsive aggressive behavior is a problem of behavioral deviance in which the individual who experiences it often acts physically and verbally abusive to others, and performs actions quickly without thinking first. The research method used is single subject design (SSD) with a multiple baseline cross subject approach. This study had two subjects with the same problem, namely having aggressive impulsive behavior. The results of applying the technique of practicable poses to two subjects showed a decrease in the intensity of aggressive impulsive behavior. The results of visual observations made by researchers showed that there were continuous changes and a steady decrease in the intensity of aggressive impulsive behavior.

Abstract

The electrification rate in Indonesia has reached 98%, but most of it is still dominated by fossil energi and coal, whereas, in fact, the potential for renewable energi that is environmentally friendly has not been fully utilized. The micro hydro power plant in Andungbiru Village has been exploiting the natural potential since 1992 until now. Therefore, the researcher analyzes the renewable energi management strategy from the perspective of stakeholder involvement and the results it creates on the welfare of the community. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. This study found that the concept of the quintuple helix is found in the use of renewable energi. The role of the first helix is the community as a driving force and initiator of the use of renewable energi. Furthermore, the role of the second helix is for the private sector to encourage acceleration and acceleration in the process of utilizing renewable energi by providing financial assistance to maximize the potential for water flow and the development of the number of generating units. Furthermore, the role of the third helix is academics who act as designers and experts in planning and technical development of the use of new and renewable energi. The fourth helix is nature, where the natural potential in the form of a steady stream of water can be utilized properly. The fifth helix is the government, the role of the government is to encourage the creation of legality for existing social-community groups, while also providing some training and improving the skills possessed by the community. Furthermore, the results of this study are that there are three major benefits from the derivative activities of utilizingthe natural potential for renewable energi, namely: 1) sufficient electricity needs of the community, 2) development of planting and livestock skills. 3) increasing knowledge of coffee cultivation and diversification

Abstract

Autistic children often experience communication problems so they must receive special training. This study aims to determine the characteristics of research subjects, namely autistic children with the initials AU, the condition of AU's communication skills before and after the implementation of the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) method. The research method is a single subject experimental design A-B-A which shows a causal relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable. The results showed that the characteristics of AU had experienced an inability to communicate since the age of two years due to family disharmony. In addition to not being able to speak verbally, the AU's communication skills before the implementation of PECS experienced non-verbal limitations. AU's non-verbal communication skills are measured through the ability to recognize objects, recognize images of objects, receive verbal messages and convey messages through pictures. Of the sixteen objects introduced, namely plates, spoons, forks, glasses, towels, soap, toothbrushes, brooms, books, ballpoint pens, colored pencils, scissors, erasers, knives, blankets and pillows, the AU only responded to 8 types of objects. AU's ability after implementing PECS is that AU recognizes 16 types of objects and images of objects and is able to receive all verbal messages through these images. However, the AU knows some of the objects (5 objects) they want and hand them over to the researcher, namely books, towels, plates, glasses, and spoons. The conclusion of the study shows that the implementation of PECS for the ability to recognize objects, recognize object images, receive verbal messages and through images is able to change AU's communication skills from moderate to low to high abilities. However, the AU's ability to convey messages through images is in the moderately low category

Abstract

The success of an empowerment program in the community is when there is a continuation of the program even though the termination has been carried out. There are various things prepared in ensuring the sustainability of a program, one of which is related to the presence of local champions. The community-based plastic waste management program on Pramuka Island, Thousand Islands, which was initiated in 2020, is still continuing today. This program was previously assisted by the Get Plastic Indonesia Foundation which was supported by PT. Astra and in collaboration with the Green Literacy House. After more than two years after the mentoring process was completed, the Green Literacy House as a local organization continues to be committed to continuing this program in the local area and has even replicated it to the surrounding islands in the Thousand Islands. The social environmental impact of the sustainability of this program is felt by the local community. Through this research using a qualitative approach, the social impacts arising from the program mentioned above are described. First, there is an economic impact on tourism activists and the local community because this program is a pilot program for areas that have succeeded in managing plastic waste at the source, thereby increasing the number of tourist visits, especially for educational tourism. Apart from that, maintaining the territorial waters around the island also has a good economic impact on fishermen. Furthermore, the social impact, with the existence of waste management facilities on Pramuka Island, the level of knowledge of residents regarding waste management is better so that it also raises awareness of residents to use plastic wisely
