Abstract

In Islamic religious education and ethics (often called PAI and BP) learning materials at SDN 2 Kesumadadi, there is material that discusses having faith in Allah through Asmaul Husna. In this material, the PAI teacher introduces the complete Asmaul Husna by carrying out the habituation of reading Asmaul Husna. Even though this material only discusses the 4 Asmaul Husna. The habituation of reading Asmaul Husna is a form of the effort carried out by PAI teachers to shape the religious character of the students at SDN 2 Kesumadadi, so that religious values are instilled in the souls of students. This research is qualitative research with the type of field research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the habit of reading asmaul husna is not done every day, but only every religious lesson. The efforts of PAI teachers in forming religious character through the habit of reading asmaul husna in SDN 2 Kesumadadi are carried out in several ways, including through exemplary, habituation, mentoring, appreciation, and discipline.

Abstract

Indonesia is considered as a multi–ethnic country with cultural diversity because it has wide variety of tribes, cultures, religions and beliefs. Among the local wisdoms is the Bediom tradition carried out by Lampung Saibatin society. This tradition contains of various values, such as socio-cultural, religious, and Islamic educational value. This research was in form of descriptive analysis which is qualitatative in nature. The research aimed at to explore and analyze the Islamic value contained in Bediom, a traditional house in Lampung Saibatin society. The data were collected through observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion drawing. The study found that the Bediom tradition of moving traditional house in Lampung Saibatin society implied Islamic educational values, such as the value ​​of monotheism (tauhid), shariah value, and moral value. These three values ​​of Islamic education can strengthen the local wisdom of the Lampung people which are rich in religious values. In addition, the bediom tradition which is full of moral values ​​can also strengthen social relations among multicultural societies. Thus, local wisdom that is full of religious values ​​should continue to be preserved.

Abstract

Pesantren are traditional Islamic educational institutions that study, understand, explore, live, and practice the teachings of Islam by emphasizing the importance of religious morals as a guide to daily behavior. With the development of the times, technology and modernity are also developing along various lines, which causes the role of a santri to fade, especially in terms of akhlakul karimah in everyday life. This research seeks to analyze the application of exemplary methods in fostering Santri morals at Pesantren Walisongo in North Lampung, Indonesia. The research is field research. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation to complement research data in problem-solving. data analysis using the inductive thinking method. The population in this study was the caregiver of the Pesantren, the head of the Pesantren, the management, and all students of MA and MTs Plus Walisongo Lampung Utara, while the research sample was taken using the snowball sampling technique. The results of the study found that the application of the exemplary method implemented in the Pesantren Walisongo in North Lampung was effective. This was because it was not only exemplary in worship but consisted of several qudwah (exemplary), namely Qudwah Al-Ibadah, Qudwah Zuhud, Qudwah Tawadhu', Qudwah al Karimah, Qudwah Syaja'ah, Qudwah al Quwad al Jasadiyah, and Qudwah al Hasan al Siyasah

Abstract

The phenomenon of violence shown that humans have failed to understand heterogeneity and diversity. This study aims to determine the internalization values of Bugis culture in Islamic education at Andi Djemma University and IAIN Palopo. This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnopedagogical approach. The results showed that internalisation values of Bugis culture in Islamic higher education is in line with multiculturalism values that grow and develop in Indonesia. Some of the  local wisdom values in Bugis culture are manifested in the concept of Tudang Sipulung and living value method. The internalisation values of Bugis culture in learning of Islamic religious education provides respectful values such as Sipakatau (mutual information), Sipakalebbi (Mutual Respect), Sipakaingge (Remind each other), Sipakatou (Mutual Sharing). Respect peace, fellow human beings, especially if they are fellow humans. So that Bugis cultural education is in line with the values of pluralism that grow and develop in Indonesia.

Abstract

Lampung is a multicultural region with a variety of tribes, cultures, customs, languages, and religions. With such diversity, we must tie with a sense of nationalism over the ownership of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to describe how islamic multicultural education in sakai sambayan culture has been implemented in multicultural societies. In its implementation, qualitative research was used with phenomenological and naturalistic approaches was focused on implementation of islamic multiculturalism education in sakai sambayan culture of the West Tulang Bawang societies. This study concluded that (1) sakai sambayan culture is vital since it can be used as a medium and means of implementation of islamic multicultural education, containing the fundamental beliefs and knowledge sources in harmony with Islamic teachings and (2) sakai sambayan culture has multicultural Islamic educational values, such as unity and solidarity, mutual respect and tolerance, work together, and keeping of social relationship and social harmony among Lampung societies. This research has implications for developing the Islamic multicultural education in West Tulang Bawang regency as a region of multicultural.

Abstract

Social media is a platform for public around the world to discuss their opinions and issues. Children are growing up surrounded by mobile devices and interactive social networking sites such as Tik Tok. This phenomenological study explored the impact of social media on the moral education of adolescences at Sputih Agung Lampung Tengah. Employing the qualitative research method with a case study approach, the research solicited 20 adolescences and their parents at Sputih Agung Lampung Tengah. The findings showed that social media has two sides for adolescences. Using of social media has a positive and negative impact for adolescences.This study concluded that parents dan teachers play a deeper role in shaping the character of the child through digital literacy. Therefore, this research recommends synergy between schools as formal education, parents as informal education, and the society as a laboratory for children's

Abstract

Having varied ethnics, cultures, religions, or faiths, Indonesia is considered a multicultural nation in today’s world. The phenomenon of violence in the name of religion, ethnicity, and culture has shown that humans have failed to understand heterogeneity, diversity, and plurality. For responding that phenomenon, the goverment West Tulang Bawang regency was implemented Islamic pluralism education's concept based on the meaning of Ragem Sai Mangi Wawai symbol of Lampung Pepadun peoples. This research with ethnographic approach and qualitative descriptive method was focused on implementation of Islamic pluralism education in West Tulang Bawang regency. The findings showed that Tulang Bawang Barat regency has applied Islamic pluralism education based on Ragem Sai Mangi Wawai with a cultural-themed concept. Its was illustrated through several society activities, such as the 47th Musabawah Tilawatil Program (MTQ) Lampung province, the colloquium Center for the Study of Religious Moderation with Islamic religious instructors of West Tulang Bawang Barat regency, ceremony of culture begawi of Lampung Pepadun, and implementing education program based nenemo's culture of philosophy

Abstract

The independent curriculum (kurikulum merdeka) has been designed to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students consists of six elements: faith, fear of God Almighty, and noble character; global diversity; cooperation; independence; critical reasoning; and creativity. This research aims to analyze the implementation of independece curriculum carried out by madrasas through the decree of the Ministry of Religious Affair (KMA) Number 347 of 2022. The approach used by researchers is a library research with content analysis method. In this research primary data source such as books, journals, newspapers, and other documents. The results of this research conclude that implementation of independent curriculum (kurikulum merdeka) in madrasas required learning facilities and infrastructure. In addition, educators are needed to understand the curriculum, such as learning achievements (CP), learning objectives (TP), and learning objectives flow (ATP). Beside it, the teacher must be able to integrate the material learning with orientation to strengthen profile of Pancasila students rahmatan lil alamin (P5 PPRA). This qualitative research ultimately has limitations considering that the results of this study do not reflect the implementation of independent curriculum in specific madrasa. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct more comprehensive research with field research.

Abstract

The recent Covid-19 Pandemic has further institutionalised the applications of digital technologies in education. Some schools are not ready to do a distance learning class because of the limited ability of teachers and parents to use technology. Meanwhile, after covid-19 pandemic, there were many students whose moral decreased. This study aims to describe and determine how the role of teachers and the role of parents to strengthening of digital literacy in post-pandemic era. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative in the nature of field research located at UPTD SD Negeri 13 Perupuk, Lima Puluh Pesisir, Batubara. Informants in this research were head of school, teachers, and parents. While the data collection used through interviews that had been conducted to be strengthened and corrected. The data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The findings show the role of the teachers and parents both are very important to strengthening of digital literacy their children. The findings show that the students at SDN 13 Perupuk accept the use of gadgets due to their usefulness and easiness. However, there were some negative impacts of gadget usage in terms of social life and whose moral decreased. Therefore, teachers and parents must giving guidance to students in using digital technologies in education

Abstract

The effective execution of marketing tactics can aid in the recruitment of prospective students and concurrently elevate the standing of the madrasa. This research aims to analyze the marketing strategy at MA Sabilul Muttaqin in Pungging part of Mojokerto. Case study method was used where five participants were interviewed from that madrasa. Interviews were conducted with using a semi-structured interview method with open-ended questions related to branding strategies. This study concludes that marketing strategy of madrasa in marketing of Islamic educational institutions is to use a socio-religious, artistic and cultural approach through madrasa education programs. Beside it, concept of integration of Sabilul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School curriculum is a combination or combination of cottage and madrasah materials simultaneously and continuously.
