Abstract

Currently, the construction of toll roads in several regions of Indonesia is being carried out. One of them is the construction of the Tebing Tinggi-Inderapura Toll Road. In this project there are several bridge constructions as a link between roads or as a pedestrian bridge. This bridge uses prestressed beams in which there are steel wires. The steel wire is tensioned by pulling it using a hydraulic jack. When stress is applied, the beam loses its prestressing force. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage loss of prestressing forces that occurred in the bridge beam. Loss of prestressing force must not exceed the maximum that has been determined. There is some loss of prestressing force which is taken into account. Short-term prestress losses include elastic shortening of the concrete, friction along the tendons and anchor slippage. Furthermore, the loss of long-term prestressing forces is creep in steel, shrinkage in concrete and relaxation of steel. After all the loss of prestressing force is calculated, the total loss of prestressing force is 21.62%. To find out the maximum percentage of loss of prestressing force using calculations from the book Design of Prestressed Concrete Structures by T. Y. Lin H. Burns with the formula Pe/Ac and the value is 8.98 MPa. Where 8.98 MPa is 25%, so 21.62% is smaller than 25%, so it is still safe. Abstract

Seeing the construction work of a complex project, a good project management is needed such as planning, implementing activities, controling activities and scheduling a project.Where a project is said to be successful if the financing/budget is right, quality is right, and on tme. If all three categories have been met, then the project becomes a benchmark for the success of a project. We can see in the contruction of the Medan-Binjai Railroad Which is experiencing problems in the implementation of delays in the work that has been determined by he schedule. Basically, delays can be caused by all parties participating in the operation of the contruction work. In a construction project, it is not always a project that is always on time in achieving success as sheduled. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the delay in the improvement project for the Medan-Binjai Railway. The method used in data processing n this study are seven factors that greatly affect project delays, including factors due to the Covid-19 virus with a mean value of 3,62, difficulty in accessing project locations with a mean value of 3,59, lack of workforce discipline with a mean value of 3,35, the number of additional jobs wiht a mean value of 3,21, lack of skilled labor with a mean value of 3,15.

Abstract

Konstruksi bangunan bertingkat memerlukan alat berat untuk menaikkan dan menurunkan serta memindahkan material dari bawah ke atas, yaitu tower crane. Pada suatu pekerjaan proyek konstruksi gedung bertingkat penggunaaan tower crane sangatlah membantu dalam penyelesaiaan pekerjaan. Setiap penggunaan alat berat seperti tower crane memerlukan pelaksanaan pemasangan di tempat yang sudah direncanakan dan dipertimbangkan. Berdasarkan uraian bangunan konstruksi bertingkat tersebut dan spesifikasi alat berat berupa tower crane beserta observasi di lapangan akan ditinjau pelaksanaan pemasangan tower crane pada proyek bangunan bertingkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode pelaksanaan pemasangan tower crane, mendapatkan hasil perhitungan struktur komponen-komponen tower crane dan memperoleh hasil perhitungan jarak yang diperbolehkan pada lengan tower crane pada waktu pengangkatan material serta hasil analisis pada pondasi tower crane dalam mengangkat dan memindahkan material. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan survei di lapangan untuk memproleh data penelitian dan mengambil data dari tim engineering proyek untuk dilakukan analisis dan perhitungan secara manual. Hasil dari perhitungan ini meliputi analisis metode pelaksanaan pemasangan tower crane menggunakan metode kerja dalam memasangkan setiap komponen-komponen tower crane. Selanjutnya hasil perhitungan pada setiap komponennya dan pondasi tower crane baik pada waktu operasional maupun tidak operasional menunjukkan aman untuk digunakan serta hasil analisis pada jib diperoleh jarak maksimum untuk mengangkat beban maksimum sebesar 10 ton agar tidak terjadi patah pada lengan tower crane yaitu sejauh 17 meter. Serta hasil perhitungan ФMn =11882.030817 kNm 2159.751284 kNm . ФMn (momen nominal tulangan pile cap D25) Mu (Momen ultimit Tower Crane) aman untuk digunakan. Dengan hasil perhitungan tersebut tower crane aman untuk digunakan untuk mengangkat, memindahkan dan menurunkan material bangunan.

Abstract

Transportation has a very significant role in various aspects such as social, economic, environmental, and others. Therefore, the problems faced by almost all big cities in Indonesia are congestion, air pollution and traffic congestion. This mode of transportation consists of land, water and air transportation modes. For the land transportation mode itself, it is subdivided into road and rail modes. Public Transportation is passenger transportation using public transportation and is carried out with a Rent or Pay system. This study is to measure the level of passenger service with the Customer Saticfaction Index method. With the aim of knowing how much interest the people of Medan are in using the Trans Metro Deli Corridor of Pinang Baris Terminal – Medan Merdeka Square. the calculation of the questionnaire data was carried out using the Customer Saticfaction Index (CSI) method to calculate the service quality of Trans Metro Deli Medan, that the level of service obtained was satisfactory with a passenger satisfaction level of 73%. The factors that do not satisfy passengers are in terms of the condition of the bus stop and service information

Abstract

On the 21st PON (National Sports Week) show, Indonesia was appointed as the host after several years, based on a Decree (SK) determination by the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainuddin Amali, North Sumatra Province as the host, which is in the Village Sena, Batang Quiz District, Deli Serdang Regency. In the sports center area, supporting infrastructure and commercial areas, namely hotels, are also provided. The depiction of the hotel design applies a neo vernacular architectural theme. The method used in this research is data collection, literature study and analysis and concepts. The analysis carried out is in the form of site analysis, building analysis, structural analysis and utility analysis, from the results of the analysis carried out it can be concluded that the concept obtained for designing the hotel. The application of this building theme can be seen based on the shape, facade, and materials as outlined in the final design in the form of working drawings and 3D designs.

Abstract

This tunnel is an alternative structure used to divert river water during construction of the dam body. Location The tunnel is located in Kuala Deca Village, Civilville District, Deli Serdang District, North Sumatra. Since this tunnel is located under a hill, a buffer system is required within the tunnel for the tunnel to be considered safe. The purpose of this study is to analyze the entrance side stress and calculate the safety factor of the tunnel. Rock mass classification (RMR) is currently used to determine the service life of tunnels. Analysis of the upstream support system "Inlet" shows that at STA 0+ 043.000 the support system used on the upstream side of the tunnel is I conclude that it is bedrock bolts and shotcrete. A geologist gives him an RMR value between RMR 41 and 60. Mathematically, the inlet stress is 11,758 MPa and the maximum stiffness is 41.221,137 MPa/m, so the inlet safety factor is 301,14. 51,50 for roofs and walls. The Lau-Simeme Dam Tunnel is considered safe because the overall tunnel safety factor is 1,5.

Abstract

At this time the S Parman road in Medan City is very congested because around the road there are new buildings and indiscriminate parking so that the performance of the roads on S Parman road is increasing.  Thus, S Parman road users need an alternative repair in order to obtain a less congested road.  In general, this study aims to determine the performance of the road network on the S Parman road section.  The method used in this research is based on the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The steps to conduct this study are to conduct a traffic survey on the S Parman road, the cambrige intersection on the S Parman - Glugur road and geometric measurements of the road on the S road section.  Parman.  In the existing condition, S Parman road has a DS of 0.73, and Gajah Mada road is 0.70 and KH Zainal Arifin road is 0.69 and the Attorney road is 0.38 and Glugur road is 0.33.  With the DS already approaching the standard limit of 0.73, which is set in the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) of 0.75, traffic management is needed in order to obtain optimal road performance.

Abstract

Medan City is the 3rd largest city in Indonesia where Medan City is also a city of industry, business and trade which is very influential in Indonesia so that it has enormous opportunities in the tourism industry sector in the field of MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition), so infrastructure is needed in the form of a convention and exhibition center building which has complete facilities so that it can support every activity related to MICE, this is intended to improve the economy of Medan City in the tourism industry sector and is supported by the election of Indonesia as the host of the G20 Presidency which allows investors from other countries to others to carry out business activities in the city of Medan. The design of this convention and exhibition center applies the Norman Foster design concept, where the concept of sustainable architectural design, engineering, urbanism, and industrial design has special design characteristics, one of which is an approach to high-tech design characters, where the use of iron/steel and glass materials which will be found in many of these buildings so as to give a new feel to the area.

Abstract

The development of technology requires humans to fulfill their daily needs to be more complex. Therefore, Kementrian Republik Indonesia provides Trans Metro Deli Transportation services with the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) implementation program which has a mission to provide the best service which includes aspects of security, accuracy, regularity, convenience, speed, comfort and satisfaction for its users. The purpose of this study was to find out how the services provided were based on passenger ratings. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The questionnaire contains the five dimensions of Service Quality (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, empathy and assurance) using a Likert Scale technique. The method used to get the value of the gap between performance and expectations is gap analysis and to measure the level of passenger satisfaction is the analysis of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). From the calculation results of the gap analysis, it shows that the service quality of the Trans Metro Deli Bus is all negative indicator variables starting from -0.10 on the B1 attribute to -0.77 on the A5 attribute, which means that all services provided to passengers are still below passenger expectations. However, based on the satisfaction index, the CSI value is in the range of 80% - 84%, namely 82.61%, which means that the overall quality of performance is still in the satisfied criteria. The conclusion of this study is that the company must continue to improve the quality of service in order to increase the level of passenger satisfaction.

Abstract

Saat merencanakan pembangunan sebuah gedung pertokoan, maupun apartemen, diperlukan lahan parkir yang terbilang cukup luas. Hal ini yang menjadi permasalahan tersendiri bagi pengembang (developer) karena tidak memungkinkan lagi membangun sebuah konstruksi secara horizontal karena keterbatasan lahan dan harga lahan yang semakin tinggi setiap waktunya. Oleh karena itu pembangunan basement merupakan bagian yang penting dari sebuah gedung bertingkat yang memanfaatkan luasan areal tanah yang ada sebagai area lahan parkir seperti pada pembangunan Proyek Rumah Sakit Regina Maris Medan. Pada pembangunan diawali dengan pekerjaan penggalian tanah yang merupakan awal dari pembangunan gedung bertingkat dengan berbagai ketinggian. Kendala yang timbul pada saat pengerjaan galian basement adalah faktor runtuhnya dinding tanah vertikal. Untuk menghindari keruntuhan pada saat penggalian basement, maka sebelum dilakukan penggalian tanah dibuat pengaman galian dengan memasang dinding penahan tanah. Pengamanan galian proyek Rumah Sakit Regina Maris Medan berupa retaning wall yang terdiri dari susunan batang spun pile yang diperkuat dengan strutting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aman atau tidaknya kondisi tanah pada saat penggalian untuk pembangunan basement. Metode dalam perhitungan stabililtas dinding penahan tanah menggunakan metode Rankine serta penggunaan alat bantu sofware Plaxis. Hasil dari perhitungan stabilitas terhadap guling menggunakan metode rankine memiliki nilai faktor keamanan 2.54 1,50 untuk stabilitas terhadap guling dan juga stabilitas terhadap geser memliki nilai faktor aman (SF) 2,4472.0.  Sedangkan hasil analisis menggunakan sofware plaxis deformasi yang aman pada proses instalisasi retaining wall spun pile serta proses penggalian 1 dengan nilai faktor keamanannya adalah 1.81 dan pada penggalian ke 2 diperoleh nilai faktor keamanan (SF) 1.82 dan yang terakhir adalah penggalian 3 dengan nilai keamananya adalah 2.95. Berdasarkan data hasil perhitungan diatas maka disimpulkan bahwa dinding penahan tanah pada metode rankine dan software plaxis 8.6 nilai kapasitas yang didapat merupakan nilai yang tinggi serta aman terhadap keruntuhan.
