Kreasi: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah jurnal pengabdian pada masyarakat yang bertaraf nasional, khusus Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini yang diterbitkan oleh Persatuan Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini Wilayah Sumatera. Artikel yang dimuat dalam Kreasi: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat, meliputi pelatihan, penyuluhan, pendampingan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, Teknologi Tepat Guna, Desain, dan akese sosial. Kegiatan pengabdian disusun dalam suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan dari jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual dan hasil kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat. Penerbitan jurnal ini akan dilakukan dalam satu tahun, mulai tahun 2021 terbitannya sebanyak dua kali terbit, yaitu pada bulan April dan Oktober.

Abstract

Learning Management Assistance with a Scientific Approach at Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten, Batang Hari Regency. As mandated in Permendikbud No. 146 of 2014 concerning the curriculum for early childhood education, that learning management must be guided by the principles of learning, learning methods, and the character of early childhood. The learning approach used must be able to build scientific thinking in children through the 5 M process (observing, asking questions, gathering information, associating, and communicating). This activity aims to observe how the implementation of learning management in Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten as well as to assist Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten teachers in learning that focuses on implementing scientific thinking/scientific approaches in all children's activities. The limitations in this assistance are due to the time and available funds. The team's next hope is assistance for Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten in providing more varied experiences and play materials to fulfill children's freedom of play and fulfill the exploration of all their senses so that learning management is truly by the principles of learning, learning methods, and the character of early childhood.

Abstract

The coronavirus (Covid-19) was first discovered in Wuhan, China which began to spread to various countries in the world. One of the affected countries is Indonesia. Social awareness needs to be done in the face of this pandemic. Social care is a form of attitude and action that reflects concern for others. The purpose of this paper is to describe service activities through sharing love from an early age in the month of Ramadan through storytelling, reading books, singing, and sharing several health facilities in preventing covid-19, masks, socks, and takjil. Education for early childhood is very important because that is when mental and character formation begins.

Abstract

Parenting is an achievement that must be developed to deepen the knowledge of parents in guiding and nurturing children in preparing a responsible society and good personality in the future as the golden generation. The purpose of this parenting activity is to assist in the development and growth of children, as well as parenting patterns for early childhood, this activity is carried out at the Bunda Salmi PAUD in Sungai Gelam Village. Community service activities use methods in the form of seminars and questions and answers regarding child development problems. The result of this activity is the implementation of parenting for parents of early childhood in good parenting following the growth and development of children.

Abstract

Children with special needs are defined as children have physical, mental, intellectual, and emotional differences with other children so that special learning is needed. Early childhood education institutions and kindergarten teachers should know and understand the handling of children with special needs. This activity was carried out with the aim that RA teachers in the city of Pekanbaru know and understand to handle Children with Special Needs (ABK) in the school environment. The implementation of this activity uses the community method, namely 76 RA teachers divided into 5 groups and carried out in 5 RA. The form of this activity is counseling and interactive dialogue. The result of this activity is that teachers gain additional knowledge and understanding from before about Children with Special Needs and to handle them at school.

Abstract

Parents are the main key in the formation of children's character from an early age. The formation of early childhood character is very important because it will affect the future life, character education is an effort made by parents intentionally to develop good character (good character) based on an understanding of good and bad parents towards behavior that is objectively recognized as good for the community individuals and society. The activity aims to increase the understanding of teachers and parents at Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal V Kindergarten Pekanbaru in terms of character education for early childhood and efforts to choose the right parenting pattern in the formation of children's character. The method of activity carried out is participatory, namely an effort to provide information to parents and teachers so that there is an understanding and increased understanding of the material presented and parents and teachers play a role both in the process and implementation of activities. The form of service activities are counseling and interactive discussions with the results of the activities, namely the achievement of the target number of training participants 72% or can be considered good, the achievement of the material targets that have been planned for the activity with a percentage (80%) and the ability of participants seen from the mastery of the material can be assessed as good (80 %). This can be seen from the ability of the teachers and parents to answer the reflections given by the instructor.

Abstract

The introduction of worship to children at an early age must be done with love, fun and without elements of coercion. Guidance and habituation of worship starts from the family by both parents and is continued to school in a professionally programmed manner. Worship that is instilled in children from an early age of course begins with simple materials such as prayer, fasting, zakat, hajj and umrah, habituation of daily prayers and so on. The location of this community service is carried out at Harapan Bunda Kindergarten, Pulang Padang Village, Singingi District, Kab. Kuantan Singingi. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, an effort is needed to overcome the problem of limited online and face-to-face learning in providing Worship Practice Assistance for Early Childhood. Where, the role of teachers and parents is very influential in helping facilitate children's learning activities as well as providing motivation and reinforcement to children in learning and worship. The results of this community service include: (1) There is an increase in knowledge and understanding of participants about the procedures for carrying out worship practices for Early Childhood. (2) All participants have understood the procedures for practicing Worship for Early Childhood, including: procedures for ablution, prayer and reading, hajj and umrah. (3) Increased insight to early childhood education teachers related to mentoring worship practices in order to develop Spiritual aspects of early childhood starting from the introduction of Worship Materials and the Demonstration stage starting from planning, implementing and evaluating.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected human life. One of the efforts to empower communities affected by Covid-19 in Candi Village, Ampel District, Boyolali Regency, is by optimizing the village's potential, namely abundant water sources. The aim of carrying out this community service activity is to help people create new income and skills so that they can be independent, develop, and not always depend on government assistance. This is done through a new method, namely the catfish cultivation business in Candi Village. People need to know how important it is to remain entrepreneurial during this pandemic. This community service activity takes the form of outreach, education and direct training regarding catfish cultivation. The hope of this service is that it can help the residents of Candi Village in terms of income and entrepreneurship in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

The concept of 'Merdeka bermain' has revolutionized the role of educators, shifting them from the traditional center of learning to facilitators of play-based learning. It emphasizes the pivotal role of play environments in nurturing children's curiosity and engagement. In this framework, preschool (PAUD) teachers function primarily as motivators and facilitators, creating rich and enticing play environments that encourage exploration. To enhance PAUD teachers' competency in 'merdeka bermain,' a service initiative was initiated. It aimed at achieving three key objectives: 1) Enhancing PAUD teachers' comprehension of 'merdeka bermain' and the eight essential indicators in early childhood education. 2) Developing their capacity as motivators and facilitators in the learning process. 3) Strengthening their ability to implement free play-based learning by harnessing local resources. The service activities employed training, technical guidance, and mentoring. Outcomes included improved understanding of 'merdeka bermain,' enhanced motivational and facilitation skills, and a better grasp of incorporating local resources into play-based learning. Constraints included time and funding limitations. Future efforts aim to provide further support to PAUD teachers in Maro Sebo Ulu Sub-district, promoting comprehensive implementation of the eight key indicators, creative game design, optimal utilization of the environment as a learning resource, and precision in assessment.

Abstract

The problem discussed in this classroom action research is how audio-visual learning media can increase understanding about nutritious food in early childhood at Dahlia Kindergarten, Pinogu Village, Pinogu District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, totaling 25 children, consisting of 11 boys boys and 14 girls. In this study, researchers focused on three indicators in introducing nutritious food: knowing the types of nutritious food, grouping the types of nutritious food, and knowing the benefits of nutritious food. The method used in this research is the descriptive method of Classroom Action Research (PTK), with research procedures consisting of: preparation, implementation, observation, evaluation, and analysis and reflection. The implementation of this research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle carries out two actions. The results of pre-cycle observations reached 30% completeness, in cycle I the level of learning completeness was 44%, and in cycle II there was an increase of 82%. So it can be concluded that audio-visual learning media can increase children's understanding of nutritious food, and can increase children's enthusiasm in the learning process in group B at Dahlia Kindergarten, Pinogu Village, Pinogu District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Introducing hijaiyah letters to students at TPQ (Qur'an Recitation Park) Al-Amin Adean village with approximately 30 students divided into 2 classes is seen as very effective because it uses attractive Hijaiyah posters. This activity has never been done by asatidz or chasing teachers before. So with the learning through this poster is very effective and it seems that students are very enthusiastic in answering every question asked by the mentors.
