Abstract

This study aimed to obtain information about improving students' physics learning outcomes through the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in Class XI. IPA/3 SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis. The research was carried out in Class XI. IPA/3 SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis. Types of classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were class XI IPA/3SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis with 27 students consisting of 23 female students, and 4 male students. The research procedure for each cycle is planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instruments were observation, questionnaire, pretest, posttest, and daily notes. Data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the data on the number of students who completed as many as 24 with a percentage of 89% and students who did not complete as many as 3 students with a percentage of 11%. Furthermore, these results indicate that in the second cycle classically students have finished studying, because students who get a score of 76 are already 89% greater than the desired percentage of completeness, which is 85%. Thus, in conclusion the learning process using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPA/3 SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an Influence of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Learning Model on Science Learning Outcomes for Class IV SDN 08 Nan Sabaris. This type of research is quasi-experimental using a comparisson's static group design model. The population of the study was the fourthgrade students at SDN 08 Nan Sabaris and the fourth grade students at SDN 12 Nan ​​Sabaris. Sampling of research is saturated sampling technique. So the sample used is class IV SDN 08 Nan Sabaris and class IV SDN12 Nan ​​Sabaris. Data collection techniques were tests. Data analysis techniques used were normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results of the final test of the two sample classes showed that the average value in the experimental class was 81.17 with the highest score of 100 and the lowest being 50, and the final test score of the control class was 72.47 with the highest score of 100 and the lowest 37. After testing the hypothesis using t test, obtained the value of tcount = 2.63 while the value of ttable = 2.39. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model on student learning outcomes in science learning IPA for Class IV SDN 08 Nan Sabaris

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh peran orang tua terhadap aktivitas belajar anak di rumah pada masa pandemi kelas III SDN 01 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Karena adanya covid-19 yang telah mengubah aktivitas belajar anak yang semestinya tatap muka menjadi pelajaran jarak jauh. Pemerintah juga mengeluarkan kebijakan agar anak belajar dari rumah. Sehingga diperlukan peran orang tua dalam membimbing anak saat belajar di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran orang tua terhadap aktivitas belajar anak di rumah pada masa pandemi kelas III SDN 01 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 orang tua siswa, 10 orang siswa kelas III SDN 01 V Koto Kampung Dalam dan guru kelas III yang memungkinkan keakuratan informasi mengenai hal yang peneliti teliti. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Untuk Teknik keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan kepercayaan, keteralihan, dapat dipercaya dan kepastian. Hasil penelitian peran orang tua terhadap aktivitas belajar di rumah pada masa pandemi di SDN 01 V Koto Kampung Dalam menunjukan bahwa 1) Orang tua berperan cukup besar dalam mendampingi pendidikan akademik anaknya selama pandemi seperti membimbing anak dalam kegiatan belajar menulis, membaca, menghafal kali-kali, membagi dan membantu anaknya menyelesaikan tugas atau pr yang diberikan oleh guru di sekolah. 2) Orang tua juga beperan dalam pembentukan watak, budipekerti, keterampilan dasar seperti pendidikan agama, sikap, sopan santun, kasih sayang, pendidikan kesosialan anak menanamkan dasar-dasar untuk mematuhi peraturan-peraturan, dan menanamkan kebiasaan-kebiasaan.

Abstract

The researcher found that: 1) The teacher had not divided the students into several groups and gave different numbers, 2) the teacher had not asked questions to the students, 3) the teacher had not given students the opportunity to think about the answers to the teacher's questions, and 4) the teacher had not given the opportunity to the students. students to provide answers to the teacher's questions. The purpose of the study was to improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with the Numbered Head Together Cooperative Learning Model in Class IV SDN 07 Sungai Limau. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach. This type of research is classroom action research, which consists of 2 cycles, carried out in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The technique of this research is observation and test. This research data is in the form of information about the implementation process obtained from observations of lesson plans, teacher aspects, and aspects of students and learning outcomes. The research subjects were teachers and fourth grade students of SDN 07 Sungai nLimau, totaling 13 people. The results showed that planning, implementation and learning outcomes had increased. The RPP assessment in the first cycle was 77.78% with qualification (C) and in the second cycle it increased to 94.4% with qualification (SB). The assessment of the implementation of the first cycle of teacher activities is 79.16% with qualifications (C) and increases to 95.83% in cycles with qualifications (SB). For student activities in the first cycle, 79.16% with qualification (C) increased to 95.83% in cycle with qualification (SB). The assessment of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 66.42 with qualifications (PB) and increased in the second cycle to 84.83 with qualifications (B). Thus, it can be concluded that the Numbered Head Together Cooperative Learning model can improve integrated thematic learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning activity of students in social studies subjects obtained by class VII.4 SMP Negeri 5 Pariaman City, this is due to the learning methods and student learning methods that are not appropriate. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about improving students' social studies learning activities through the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model in Class VII.4 SMP Negeri 5 Kota Pariaman. The research was conducted in Class VII.4 SMP Negeri 5 Kota Pariaman. Types of classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were class VII.4 SMP Negeri 5 Kota Pariaman with 31 students consisting of 13 female students and 18 male students. The research procedure for each cycle is planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instruments were observation, questionnaire, pretest, posttest, and daily notes. Data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the activity of asking questions in the first cycle was 67.7%, and in the second cycle it was 81.7%, which means an increase of 14.0%. The activity of answering in the first cycle is 61.1%, and in the second cycle it is 77.4% which means an increase of 16.1%. The response activity in the first cycle is 46.3%, and in the second cycle it is 64 .5% which means an increase of 18.2%. The activity of giving advice in the first cycle is 37.7%, and in the second cycle it is 59.1%, which means there is an increase of 21.4%. So the study concluded that the learning process using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model can improve the social studies learning activities of class VII.4 students of SMP Negeri 5 Pariaman City.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the writing skills of 11th graders at SMK Padang focusing on the generic structure in procedural texts. Seeing the use of 3 elements contained in the generic structure, namely objectives, materials, and steps. This study uses a text document made by students and a checklist document as a research instrument. The researcher took the document of the written procedure text from the eleventh grade. Researchers took documents from class eleven fashion 1, clothing 2, clothing 3, and culinary 3 from a total sample of 114 then researchers used a random sampling technique by taking 15% of the number of children so that the sample analyzed was 17 documents. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of the study found that there were 12 correct documents in the use of 3 generic elements of structure in the procedure text. The 12 documents are complete in the use of objectives, materials, and steps, while there are 5 documents that are incomplete in the use of the 3 elements in the generic structure. The five documents on average have errors in the use of materials, these 5 documents do not contain steps or explanations of what materials are needed in these activities that are in accordance with the objectives of the text. So that the results of the overall writing ability of students on the generic structure are included in the good category because it is guided by the results of students' writing about procedural texts.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa permasalahan mahasiswa dalam membunyikan akhiran -ed dalam membaca nyaring bagi mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat di tahun akademik 2019/2020. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah-masalah yang membuat mahasiswa belum bisa membunyikan akhiran –ed dalam Bahasa Inggris secara benar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualtitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan reading aloud test, interview dan audio recording sebagai instrument. Peneliti menggunakan sample untuk test sebanyak 42, dan 30 sample untuk wawancara, yang diperoleh dari hasil test mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai minimum (poor). Hasil dari analisa penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa permasalahan mahasiswa dalam membunyikan akhiran -ed dalam membaca nyaring yaitu, Perbedaan sistem bunyi antara Bahasa Inggris dengan Bahasa ibu mereka (mother tongue), locality (environment), personality, motivation, dan lack of knowledge.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program,  mendeskripsikan peran guru PAI, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran guru PAI, dan mengetahui upaya-upaya guru PAI sebagai konselor dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan kepribadian bagi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan setelah pemeriksaan keabsahan data. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dan validitas data, peneliti mencocokkan dan membandingkan data dari berbagai sumber, baik sumber lisan (wawancara) maupun sumber tulisan (dokumen dan pustaka), maupun data hasil observasi. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik-teknik triangulasi, perpanjangan kehadiran, pengamatan secara terus menerus, dan pengecekan kecukupan referensi. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian pertanyaan pertama, bimbingan langsung ketika proses belajar mengajar, bimbingan dalam kegiatan ekstra kurikuler wajib, bimbingan dalam kegiatan rohis, bimbingan dalam kegiatan kultum, bimbingan ketika mensosialisasikan peraturan sekolah, bimbingan dalam pembekalan magang bagi siswa yang akan mengikuti prakerin, dan bimbingan ketika melakukan kunjungan magang. Pertanyaan kedua adalah guru PAI sebagai informator, fasilitator, moderator, motivator, dan kolaborator. Pertanyaan ketiga adalah faktor kompetensi guru PAI, orang tua, pribadi siswa,  lingkungan, dan sarana prasarana. Pertanyaan keempat adalah mengidentifikasi masalah, melakukan diagnosis, menyusun rencana tindakan, memberikan bantuan, dan tindak lanjut. Juga melalui bimbingan langsung, bimbingan tidak langsung, dan dengan melakukan kerjasama.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau. This problem is marked by the fact that there are still many students who are less disciplined towards online and offline learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning discipline during the covid-19 pandemic on the learning outcomes of highclass students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research is a correlational study. The population in this study amounted to 50 students and the entire population was sampled with a total sampling technique. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire to measure student learning discipline variables to describe student learning outcomes for high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was an influence of learning discipline on the learning outcomes of high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0.799, thus indicating that the learning discipline variable has an influence on student learning outcomes (t count 9.215 > t table 1.678). While the value of the determinant coefficient is 63.84%, this shows that the learning outcomes of high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau 63.84% are influenced by student discipline variables, while the remaining 36.16% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by how a person acts in making decisions to choose a place to study with various considerations, whether by looking at the brand image, location education costs or promotions carried out by a campus in attracting students. This study aims to find the extent of the influence of education costs, brand image, location and promotion of the decision of students choosing to study at the National STKIP. The type of research used in this study is correlation. The population in this study was 440 people with 209 Proposional Random Sampling sampling techniques. Data collected by descriptive analysis and prerequisite test analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis are in the quantitative category both in the amount of 72.42 and partially the education costs of education, brand image, location and promotion have a significant positive effect on the decision of students to choose to study at STKIP Nasional. Then the results of simultaneous data analysis of education costs, brand image, location and promotion show the number 0.172 or 17.2%.
