Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of Good Governance in the perspective of Public Service. This study uses a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. The type of data used in this research is secondary data. The research analysis uses qualitative methods starting from the concept of public service according to various experts, then the analysis is continued by analyzing the concept of service quality and the concept of good governance in the perspective of public services. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the characteristics of good governance based on the perspective of public services must meet four main elements, namely 1) Accountability; there is an obligation for the government apparatus to act as the person in charge and the person in charge of all the actions and policies that it determines; 2) Transparency: good governance will be transparent to its people, both at the central and regional levels; and 3) Transparency: requires that there are opportunities for the people to submit comments and criticisms of the government which they consider to be non-transparent. Rule of law; Good governance has characteristics in the form of guarantees of legal certainty and a sense of community justice for every public policy taken.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of community service activity by students in the form of democratic knowledge. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding to the local community about the importance of education to help the government in educating the nation's children. Service activities are carried out through activities: health workshops, namely holding counseling about the importance of knowing the dangers of stunting in the people of Pulau Jambu Village. This activity was carried out with the UNRI BK KKN Team, in collaboration with the local Auxiliary Health Center. KKN BK UNRI also had the opportunity to check the health of the Jambu Island community with the Health Team from the Pulau Jambu Health Center. This Stunting Seminar was attended by the village women of Pulau Jambu, and was greeted with enthusiasm, because many of them still do not understand about Stunting and also what is the normal weight for the child. In addition, with the Stunting Seminar, they become aware of the normal amount of nutrition that children should consume every day, and what they need to avoid. The socialization with the theme of Stunting was successfully carried out by KKN BK UNRI students in Pulau Jambu Village and received a positive response from the local community.

Abstract

Kawengan Village is located in Kedewan District, Bojonegoro Regency. Kawengan has an abundance of agricultural product, especially corn. This certainly has an impact on the results of corn waste production, especially corn cobs. But, corn cob utilization in Kawengan has not been maximized. Corn cobs in this village are special concern can cause various negative effects on life. Corn cobs have higher levels of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin than other corn wastes, this making them more suitable as raw materials for bioethanol production. The obtained bioethanol will be used for hand sanitizer. To address the issue of corn cob waste in Kawengan, training on the use of corn cob waste as a hand sanitizer to Tim Pelaksana Inovasi Desa (TPID) Kawengan was carried out. This training uses the Learning Deeply method, which involves evaluating each activity as it is completed and succeeded to increase the understanding of the Kawengan villagers.

Abstract

This community service was carried out at one of the UMKM in Katapang District, Bandung Regency, namely the conservationist of Kutang Suroso. The implementation method used is through socialization activities, discussions, questions and answers, counseling, mentoring, and publications regarding work discipline which will increase the productivity of Kutang Suroso conservationist UMKM actors. This initial socialization was intended to provide an understanding of the importance of work discipline in the business sector and its effect on the productivity and production results of UMKM. At the beginning of the socialization and discussion meeting, a positive response was obtained from the UMKM participants, so that later these UMKM could be guided according to the work program that had been made. The main objective of holding this study is to transfer knowledge about the importance of having work discipline habits in running a business. Efforts to change habits are not easy, so it takes a long process and time. Activities in the form of counseling need to be carried out by the team to provide broad and in-depth knowledge about the positive impact of implementing work discipline on the sustainability of a business. Of course, after UMKM actors understand the importance of work discipline, mentoring is the right method so that these habits can be applied and embedded in every UMKM actor.

Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the highest child marriage after Cambodia. In addition, West Java Province has the highest absolute number of child marriages in Indonesia (273,300 child marriages). In addition, it also ranks first nationally for out-of-school children at the elementary, junior high, and high school/vocational school levels. Health cadres do not understand their duties and roles in reducing MMR, one of which is knowledge about the impact of child marriage. This activity aims to increase the knowledge and attitudes of health cadres through health education and to empower the potential of existing communities to prevent child marriage. This activity with Preparing, Participatory Programming, Reinventing Assets, Designing, Communicating, Implementing, and Evaluating. Results: The number of cadres who participated in counseling was 25 people. The potential that exists is the presence of midwives and community leaders. Youth of as many as 450 people, 20 children who dropped out of school had elementary school education, 18 had junior high school diplomas, and 4 cases of early marriage. Based on the SWOT analysis, Pondok Rajeg Kelurahan is in quadrant II which requires strategic diversification. Evaluation of activities revealed from the results of the Willcoxon test that there was an effect of health education using early marriage flyers on knowledge p-value = 0.002 (p-value <0.05) and attitude p-value = 0.002 (p-value <0.05 ). Health cadres understand one of their roles and duties from the influence of leaflets on increasing knowledge and positive changes in cadre attitudes to address the problem of early marriage. In addition, their commitment to implementing early marriage prevention and its impact.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in an integrative manner and the problems found in the SKI learning process at MTsN Padang Panjang. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation by observing the SKI learning process at MTsN Padang Panjang, interviews with SKI teachers and several students, and carrying out teaching practices to see students' responses to the integration learning that the researchers did. The data collection technique used was found that the Integrative SKI learning at MTsN Padang Panjang had been implemented, although not optimally. The integration carried out in learning SKI at MTsN Padang Panjang with character values and exemplary values in students. The results of the teaching practice obtained data that in general students were interested and quite understanding of the integrative SKI learning that the researchers did. From this research, it can be said that SKI learning in general has been integrated with character and value education for students.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is an unavoidable situation today. This condition not only affects public health but also the economy. One sector that is affected by it is the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and this is experienced by the food processing MSMEs in Cisomang Village, Cikalong Wetan Sub-district, West Bandung Regency. The main problem faced is related to business management from various aspects such as marketing, operations, employee management, and finance. The community service object is the MSME center in the food processing industry in Cisomang Village, Cikalong Wetan Sub-district, West Bandung Regency, consisting of 10 MSMEs. The produced products are various types of snacks, one of which is basreng. With the training and mentoring on good management, it is hoped that it can help MSMEs to maintain their existence in the current pandemic situation.

Abstract

Children are the next generation of indonesia. children walfare is a benchmark for the future of indonesia. In order to create a promises future, children’s neeed must be guaranteed. One of government program to meet the need of children walfare are provide a children’s social service. Worowiloso children’s social service is one of the technical implementation units under Central Java Social Service which is providing compensation, guidance, and rehabilitation to a neglacte child in order to get welfare. However, their program to help the children walfare has still not known widely by people. Therefore, the outhor wants to help Worowiloso Children’s Social Service by making public service announcements in the form of poster and brochure to explain about their program in order to fulffil children walfare and create a positive image of Worowiloso Children’s Social Service.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mengembangkan ekonomi Indonesia, meskipun dalam perbandingan dengan pengusaha besar. Meskipun demikian, pelaku UMKM memberikan sumbangan yang cukup besar terhadap pendapatan daerah. Namun, banyak pelaku UMKM yang menghadapi kendala dalam mengatur administrasi dan manajemen keuangan yang berdampak pada kesulitan dalam memperoleh akses permodalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan pada UMKM di Desa Wanareja Utara, Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang, Jawa Tengah. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui 6 tahap yaitu sosialisasi program, observasi, melakukan wawancara, pemaparan materi dan pendampingan. Subjek penelitian adalah UMKM pengrajin Sarung Goyor yang terletak di desa Warareja Utara kecamatan Taman, kabupaten Pemalang Provinsi jawa Tengah. Pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen serta kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Peningkatan ini juga berdampak positif pada kinerja dan produktivitas UMKM. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan direkomendasikan untuk diberikan pada UMKM di Desa Wanareja Utara, Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang, Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

Pengemasan merupakan bagian penting di dalam proses produksi. Hal ini dikarenakan pengemasan berfungsi untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan juga keamanan, khususnya di dalam produk pangan. Penelitian ini akan melihat mengenai bagaimana pemanfaatan dari teknologi packaging untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan keamanan pangan produk lokal. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Studi kepustakaan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini kemudian menemukan bahwa teknologi pengemasan dapat memberikan kontribusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan keamanan produk pangan. Terdapat berbagai teknologi dalam pengemasan produk pangan. Teknologi tersebut memiliki kelebihannya sendiri masing-masing, seperti dapat meningkatkan daya simpan, mencegah kerusakan yang diakibatkan oleh mikroorganisme, hingga mengurangi limbah yang berbahan dasar plastik. Namun sayangnya setiap teknologi tersebut juga memiliki kekurangannya masing-masing. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pemahaman dan sinergi yang kuat dari semua pihak untuk mengatasi tantangan dan kesulitan yang terkait dengan penggunaannya.
