Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the use of social media whatsapp as a medium of economic learning at SMAN 13 Padang and (2) find out the obstacles to using social media whatsapp as a medium of economic learning at SMAN 13 Padang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Research informants are Economics teachers and Social Studies students in grades X, XI, and XII at SMAN 13 Padang. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses source triangulation. The results showed that (1) the use of Whatsapp as a Social Media for Economic Learning at SMAN 13 Padang is almost the same as face-to-face activities, like preparing the subject matter; students and teachers communicating and discussing; giving assignments, and collecting assignments. (2) The problem with using Whatsapp social media as a medium of economic learning at SMAN 13 Padang is that students lack focus; internet signal disturbances, full cell phone quotas and charges, low student willingness to learn, lack of interaction, difficulty understanding the material provided by the teacher, the living environment does not support the learning process, impaired student eye health, and queued absenteeism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of consumer dissatisfaction and variety seeking on brand switching of Xiaomi smartphones to other brands on Universitas Negeri Padang student. This type of research is causative research. The population in this study were Universitas Negeri Padang students and the determination of the number of samples in this study used the Chocran formula, namely 100 respondents from Universitas Negeri Padang students using purposive sampling technique. The type of data in this study is to uses primary data. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to Universitas Negeri Padang students and the data analysis method using multiple regression analysis. The classical assumption test was carried out using the normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test using the SPSS version 26 application. The results of this study indicate that (1) consumer dissatisfaction has a positive and significant effect on brand switching of Xiaomi smartphones to other brands, (2) variety seeking has a positive and significant effect on brand switching of Xiaomi smartphones to other brands, (3) consumer dissatisfaction and variety seeking have a positive and significant effect on brand switching of Xiaomi smartphones to other brands Universitas Negeri Padang students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in planning, organization, actuating, and controlling cooperative employees of the Republic of Indonesia as legal entities (comparative study of Senior High School two of Padang and Senior High School seven of Padang). This type of research is a type of comparative research that uses primary data as research. Obtained from a questionnaire filled out by the cooperative members of Senior High School two of Padang and Senior High School seven of Padang. Sampling was done by using proportional random sampling. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis. This study shows that there are not the same Cooperative Employees of the Republic of Indonesia as a legal entity. In the planning and control variables, there are differences in management, while in the organizing and mobilizing variables, the Cooperative Employees of the Republic of Indonesia are the same as legal entities.

Abstract

This study set out to determine how student interest in internet purchasing atPadang State University was impacted by consumer trust. A descriptive quantitativeresearchdesign was adopted for this investigation. The study’s sample was made up ofPadang State University students. The number of study samples, which may reach 97,was determined using the Cochran formula, and they were selected using a non-probability sampling approach and purposive sampling technique. Students at PadangState University were given questionnaires with pre-written questions in order to collectthe data. The analytical method employed is simple regression analysis with SPSS 20.The results show that Trust has a considerable impact on Purchase Intention.

Abstract

Based on the results of observation an interviews, learning media used when the covid-19 pandemic is limited to the use of e-book for students to learn independently and there was no explanation of direct material by the teacher. This research aimed to develop podcast-based audio learning media in the subject of Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Kepegawaian class XII OTKP. The method of research was a development research by using ADDIE model. The application of this model only used the analysis, design, and development. The data collection technique were interviews and validation sheet. Data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative. The research results show that podcast-based audio learning media on Spotify have met valid criteria, with assessment details of 93% on material aspects and 75% on media aspects. Based on the results, it was concluded that the learning media based audio podcast Spotify can be used as learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Comparison of learning outcomes for bidikmisi and non-bidikmisi students at the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University. (2) Comparison of the adversity quotient of bidikmisi and non-bidikmisi students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. The data used are primary data and secondary data in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study were active students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang with a sample of 84 people who were determined using a proportional random sampling technique. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis. Hypothesis testing using the Independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference between the learning outcomes of bidikmisi and non-bidikmisi students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. There is a significant difference between the fighting power of bidikmisi and non-bidikmisi students. This is evidenced by the hypothesis testing that was carried out, namely Sig. < Sig α (0.000 < 0.05). This means that bidikmisi students have a higher fighting power than non-bidikmisi students.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact or satisfaction on service features and brand image on consumer loyalty of mobile payment DANA. This is quantitative research. The data collection is used by using questionnaire. The samples of this study are 97 students in Universitas Negeri Padang. The results of this study show that: (1) Satisfaction of service features has a significant effect on the loyalty of Universitas Negeri Padang students in using DANA mobile payment application, (2) Brand image has a significant effect on the loyalty of Universitas Negeri Padang students in using DANA mobile payment application, (3) Satisfaction of service features and brand image have a significant effect on the loyalty of Universitas Negeri Padang students in using DANA mobile payment application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of motivation on the completion of the thesis of students of economics at the country college of Padang. This research was conducted because many college students in economic education at the Faculty of Economics at Padang Country College had been restricted and had difficulty finishing their very last assignments, so they did not graduate on time. This kind of study is descriptive-associative. The population is economic education college students at the School of Economics, Padang State University, in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and the total sample size is 109 college students. The sampling strategy is probability sampling with proportional stratified random sampling. The data collection techniques in the shape of a questionnaire. Descriptive analysis, necessities analysis, simple regression, F check, determinant coefficient, and the t test are all used in information analysis. The results showed that motivation affected the overall thesis in a significant and pervasive way. shown via the F test value obtained by using an F count of 3.93 with an R square of 0.068 (6.8%) and a tremendous level of 0.000<0.05. And the result of the t-count is greater than the t-table of 2.978>1.982, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is generally believed or recognized to be valid or correct.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to see how profitability affects firm value in transportation sub-sector companies listed on the IDX during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as how liquidity affects firm value in transportation sub-sector companies listed on the IDX during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is referred to as comparative causal research. The population of this study consists of transportation sub-sector companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2020. The sample size for this study was 13 businesses. Purposive sampling was used in the sampling technique. Profitability is measured by Return on Equity (ROE), liquidity by Current Ratio (CR), and firm value by Price to Book Value (PBV) (PBV). The data analysis technique employs panel data analysis with the Eviews 9 software. The study's findings show that profitability and liquidity both have an impact on firm value. Profitability has a marginally negative impact on firm value. Liquidity has a marginally insignificant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinants of women's decisions to work in the Limo Kaum sub-district, the analysis technique used is Logistic Regression Analysis was used to discover which characteristics had the most effect on female employees' willingness to work in both formal and informal settings sectors in conducting research on several variables. Often obtained variables that are descriptive quantitatif. With the dependent variable is binary, logistic regression analysis is useful for determining the influence of independent factors on the dependent variable. Results of research, (1) the age factor had a insignificant and negative effect in response to a woman's decision to work, (2) the education level factor had a significant and positive effect in response to a woman's decision to work, (3) the husband's income factor has a insignificant and positive effects in response to a woman's decision to work, (4) the household expenditure factor have a significant and positive effect on a woman's decision to work
