Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh pemberian daun mengkudu dalam bentuk ekstrak dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda terhadap jumlah total cemaran bakteri pada daging sapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 6 sampel daging sapi dan ekstrak daun mengkudu dengan konsentrasi ekstrak 0%, 10% dan 30% dan disimpan pada suhu 4-10˚C. Pemeriksaan mikrobiologis daging sapi menggunakan metode tuang (pour palte). Pengamatan dilakukan setelah 24 jam disimpan di dalam inkubator. Koloni bakteri yang tumbuh kemudian dilakukan pengamatan morfologi koloni berupa warna, posisi, pinggiran dan diameter koloni. Parameter yang diamati adalah total bakteri (Cfu/g). Hasil diambil secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan jumlah total bakteri dengan konsentrasi 0%,10% dan 30% adalah 4.3x103 Cfu/g, 2.9x103 Cfu/g dan ˂101 Cfu/g. Hasil ini berada pada standar SNI yaitu 1x106 Cfu/g, sehingga daging sapi masih dapat dikonsumsi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak daun mengkudu konsentrasi 10% dan 30% dapat mengurangi jumlah cemaran bakteri pada daging sapi.Kata kunci: ekstrak etanol, daun mengkudu, daging  ABSTRACTThis study aims to study the effect of noni leaves in the form of extract with different concentration to the total amount of microbial contamination in fresh beef. This study used 6 samples of beef and noni leaf extract with concentration of extract 0%, 10% and 30% and kept at 4-10˚C. Microbiological examination of beef using pour palte. Observations were made after 24 hours were stored in the incubator. Colonies of bacteria that grow later observed colony morphology of color, position, periphery and diameter of the colony. The parameters observed were total bacteria (Cfu / g). Results are taken descriptively. The result of this research was to get total bacteria with concentration 0%, 10% and 30% were 4.3x103 Cfu / g, 2.9x103 Cfu / g and ˂101 Cfu / g. This result is in SNI Standard that is 1x106, so beef can still be consumed. From the research results can be concluded that the leaves extract mengkudu 10% and 30% concentration can affect the amount of microbial contamination in beef.Keys word: ekstract etanol, Morinda citrifolia, beef

Data hasilsurveydikelompokkankedalamtigakategoriyaitu. kesehatan hewan, penanganan hewan hidup  dan proses penyembelihan. Data yang diperolehdianalisissecaradeskriptif.  Hasilanalisischeck listmenunjukkanbahwaketigaaspek yang dinilaimendapatkanhasilpenilaian yang buruk. Berdasarkankuisionerdidapatbahwa 70,6%tempatpenyembelihanhewankurbanbelummemilikikandangkhususuntukpenampunganhewansebelumdisembelih. Bahwasebesar82,4% tempatpenyembelihanterpisahtidakjauhataudapatdilihatolehsapi lain. Based on the questionnaire it was found that 70.6% of slaughterhouses for sacrificial animals did not have speciallairagefor animal shelter before being slaughtered. Whereas 82.4% of the slaughterhouses are not far apart or can be seen by other cows. Then 82.4% when animals arrive, there is no place for dropping animals from trucks. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu penyimpanan susu sapi pasteurisasi pada suhu kamar terhadap jumlah koloni Staphylococcus aureus. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah susu segar yang diambil dari peternakan sapi perah lokal di wilayah Banda Aceh yang diambil waktu pemerahan pagi hari. Susu segar dipasteurisasi dengan metode Low Temperature Long Time (LTLT) dengan suhu 62ºC selama 30 menit dan dilakukan penyimpanan pada suhu kamar 26°C selama 4 jam, 8 jam dan 12 jam. Parameter yang diukur pada penelitian ini adalah jumlah koloni Staphylococcus aureus yang ditanam pada media Manitol Salt Agar (MSA). Analisis data penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah bakteri Staphylococcus aureus paling banyak pada penyimpanan selama 12 jam sebanyak 1x103 CFU/ml. Selanjutnya penyimpanan selama 8 jam dan 4 jam berturut-turut sebanyak 1x101 CFU/ml dan 1x101 CFU/ml. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah semakin lama waktu penyimpanan susu sapi pasteurisasi pada suhu kamar maka cemaran bakteri Staphylococcus aureus pada susu akan semakin meningkat.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to know the effect of storage time of pasteurized milk in room temperature to the number of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The samples for this study were fresh milk from local dairy farm in Banda Aceh, taken directly from the cow in morning milking hour. Fresh milk then pasteurized with LTLT method, 62°C for 30 minutes. Then, the samples were divided into groups which stored in 26°c for 4 hours, 8 hours and 12 hours. Parameters in this study is the number of SA cultured in MSA. The data obtained then analyzed descriptively. The result shows that 12 hours storage performed the most colonies of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with the number 1x103 CFU/ml.  Below it, was 8 hours and 4 hours storage with the number consecutively 1x101 cfu/ml and less than 1x101 cfu/ml. This, the author can conclude that, the longer storage time of pasteurized cow’s milk in the room temperature is, contamination of  SA number in milk will be increased.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekteksi cemaran bakteri Salmonella sp pada ikan asin talang-talang (Scomboroides tala) yang di jual di Kecamatan Leupung Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan 8 sampel ikan asin talang–talang yang di ambil di 4 pedagang. Semua sampel dibawa ke Laboratorium Mikrobiologi FKH Universitas Syiah Kuala, ikan digerus kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam media Selenyte Cystein Broth (SCB) diinkubasi pada suhu 37°C selama 24 jam. Selanjutnya dilakukan penanaman pada media selektif Salmonella Shigella Agar (SSA) dan diinkubasi pada suhu 37°C selama 24 jam kemudian dilakukan pewarnaan Gram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 8 sampel ikan asin talang-talang yang diisolasi tidak ditemukan bakteri Salmonella sp. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ikan asin talang-talang yang dijual di Kecamatan Leupung Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tidak tercemar bakteri salmonella sp.(The salted fish is the fish that have been preserved using salt to prevent contaminated with microorganism. The aim of this study was to isolate salmonella sp. on 8 Talang-Talang salted fish at  Leupung District Aceh Besar Regency. The bacterial isolation was done by blending the sample using the sample that had been blended then cultivated in Selenit Cyistem Brooth (SCB), homogenated and incubated at temperature 37ᵒC for 24 hours. Then each sampel was fertilized on Salmonella shigella Agar  (SSA) media and incubated at 37ᵒC for 24 hours. The result of this research shoed that there is no Salmonella sp bacteria on Talang-Talang salted fist at Village Leupung District Aceh Besar Regency.)

Abstract

This research aim was to determine the level of bacterial contamination of Salmonella sp on quail egg. The samples used in this research was 24 shell of quail eggs obtained from eight stores in traditional markets in Ulee Kareung Banda Aceh. The shell was crushed with a mortar and then cultured on SCB media (selenite cysteine broth). Isolation and identification was conducted by using SSA media culture, Gram staining, and biochemical tests. The results of this research showed that the shell of quail eggs contained Salmonella sp. Therefore it can be concluded that the quail eggs sold in Ulee Kareung traditional market were contaminated by Salmonella sp.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out total erythrocytes count and hematocrit value of aceh and bali cattle in Leumbah Seulawah, Aceh Besar. Ten aceh cattle (5 males and 5 females with the age of 2.5-3.0 years) and ten bali cattle (5 males and 5 females aged 2.5-3.0 years) from Leumbah Seulawah, Aceh Besar were used in this research. Blood samples approximately 3 cc were collected by venoject through jugular vein. Erythrocyte counts were performed using a hemocytometer and hematocrit value were performed by microhematocrit method. The average of erythrocyte counts of male and female aceh cattle were 7.75 ±1.86 and 7.34±0.73 (106/mm3) respectively, while male and female bali cattle were 5.49±0.88 and 4.89±0.53 (106/mm3) respectively. Hematocrit value of male and female aceh cattle were 32.8±3.70 dan 32.6±207% respectively, while male and female bali cattle were 27.4±3.00 and 25.8±1.30% respectively. In conclusion, erythrocytes count and hematocrit value of aceh cattle show significant difference (P0.01) from bali cattle.Key words: erythrocytes, hematocrit, aceh cattle, bali cattle

Abstract

Entrerococcus faecalisis one of oral normal flora that has the ability to invaded into the tubules dentin and able to survive in acidic and alkaline environments within the root canal.Bay leaves is one kind of medicine antimicrobial plant that have chemical constituents such as tannins, flavonoids, essential oils, steroids, saponins and alkaloids.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of water stewed of leaves at the concentration of 50%, 75% and 100% of the bacteria Entrerococcus faecalis. Entrerococcus faecalis that have been cultured in CHROM VRE Base Vorcomicyn was incubated at 37°C anaerobically. Entrerococcus faecalis that have been cultured and identified exposed to the bay leavesstew water by standard plate count method on MHA. The results of statistical analysis using one-way ANOVA available the value of p = 0,000 (p 0,05), so can be concluded that stew water bay leaves has effect on Entrerococcus faecalis growth. The effect of Stewed Water Bay Leaves on Enterococcus faecalis was increased, by increasing it’sconsentration 50%, 75%, and 100% in a row. Keyword: Antibacterial, Entrerococcus Faecalis, Stew Of Bay Leaves

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to detect the existence of the Streptococcus sp bacteria in the horses’ dental caries in Aceh Tengah Regency. The caries samples used in this study were taken from 8 horses in Aceh Tengah Regency. The samples were collected using swab on the teeth and then put into Nutrient Broth (NB) media and further were cultured on selective media TSY20B. The bacteria identification was conducted by observing the bacteria’s morphology, Gram staining and biochemical test. The eight samples of the horses’ dental caries showed that Streptococcus sp bacteria could be isolated from all of the collected samples. From this research it could be concluded that Streptococcus sp bacteria was found in the horses’ dental caries and it was one of the causes of the dental caries.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas ekstrak dari kulit buah naga putih (Hylocereus undatus) terhadap pertumbuhan Staphylococcus epidermidis. Biakan Staphylococcus epidermidis diswab merata pada permukaan MHA (Mueller Hinton Agar), yang sebelumnya jumlah bakteri telah distandar berdasarkan  Mc’ Farland 0,5. Disk cakram direndam pada ekstrak kulit buah naga putih pada berbagai konsentrasi antara lain 25%, 50%,75% dan 100%.Ampicillindigunakan sebagai kontrol positif sedangkan cakram kosong ditempatkan pada permukaan MHA (Mueller Hinton Agar). Parameter yang diamatiadalah luasnya diameter zona hambat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secaradeskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kulit buah naga putih mampu menghambat dengan diameter rata-rata zona hambat pada kosentrasi 25% yaitu 13,7 mm, 50% yaitu 15,2 mm, 75%  yaitu 16,3 mm dan 100% yaitu 17,7 mm. Dari rata-rata zona hambat yang terbentuk ekstrak kulit buah naga putih memiliki kekuatan daya hambat terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus epidermidis dalam kategori kuat. ABSTRACT The study aims to determine the effectiveness of white dragon fruit peels (Hylocereus undatus) extract on the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis. Staphylococus epidermidis culture was swab evenly on MHA (Mueller Hinton Agar) surface,The total bactery has been standardize before based on Mc’ Farland 0,5. Disc was soaked in white dragon fruit peels extract in variety of concentration which is 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Amphycilin used as positive control while empty disc placed on the MHA (Mueller Hinton Agar) surface. Parameter being observed is inhibition zone diameter. The data obtained were analiyzed descriptively.  The results showed that white dragon fruit peels extracts able to inhibit with the average diameter of 25% is 13,7mm, 50% is 15,2 mm, 75% is 16,3mm and 100% is 17,7mm. Abstract

The use of technology will automatically provides convenience in the delivery of information. In this research, the utilization of technology can be done by using animation to help and increase the interest of the students in following the learning process to make it more efficient. This is done because some of the material that is studied sometimes seems boring for the students especially in studying the learning materials of Geography science, even today the students of 15 Tibang Banda Aceh are less interested in studying the map of Indonesia, because the current teacher only gives explanation through the books so as not Interesting and boring, in addition to lack of means and other information media such as pictures and encyclopedias provided at the school. From this problem, the authors conducted research on interactive animation design of the introduction of state map of Indonesia at State Elementary School 15 Tibang Banda Aceh based multimedia. Software used in this research is Adobe Professional CS6, Adobe Photoshop, and Wondershare Filmora. The method used in this study is a qualitative method which is a research method that is more focused with the situation or the phenomena studied.
