Abstract

This research was aimed at developing VAKISITE (Visual Auditory kinaesthetic Listening Website) to maximize students learning in the listening subject. The research used educational R&D Thus, this research used CAR (Classroom Action Research) research design to know the efficacy of the product in field testing step. The research procedures included needs analysis, studying education theories, developing the educational product, validating the product to experts, and field-testing. The research involved the second semester students of English Language Education Department of STKIP PGRI Trenggalek in 2022/2023 academic year as subject. The research instruments were field notes, questionnaires, and test. The field notes data was analysed in qualitative way, while questionnaire and test data was analysed in quantitative way.  The product has been developed through five steps of development.  Based  on  the  result  of  students'  needs, its score  was  80%, it’s showed that listening learning digital media were needed.  Meanwhile, the result of field testing the product of the students showed a percentage of 86%, 1723 scores of students’ feedback. It indicates that, the respondent agree that the product of this research was good and feasible to use as media in learning listening subject.

Abstract

The necessity for effective professional development (PD) in STEM education is more intense than ever. Shorter PD programs, on the other hand, are frequently more feasible due to time restrictions. The study looks into the most successful ways of designing and implementing short-term PD programs that provide significant results. Short-term PD programs can deliver intense bursts of improvement by focusing on dynamic training, personalized learning routes, and ongoing support. This study looks at how these programs can help educators modify their methods and improve student learning results. Collaborative networks and communities of practice are also essential for maximizing the impact of short-term PD. The transformative benefits can spread throughout schools and districts by creating relationships and boosting collaboration. This study demonstrates the potential for brief, meaningful PD programs to transform STEM instruction. Educators are embracing brief yet transformative professional development sessions and observing the enormous impact they can have on the future of STEM education.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of sociological perspectives in curriculum development, focusing on understanding the relationship between individuals and society in an educational context. The research objective involves an in-depth analysis of how sociological aspects can guide curriculum design that is responsive to the dynamics of society. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, the research identifies the sociological assumptions on which curriculum development is based and evaluates their impact on the formation of individuals as members of a thriving society.

Abstract

Students' low critical thinking skills will of course also affect their learning outcomes. This is influenced by the use of conventional learning models. This research aims to examine the influence of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) model on students' critical thinking abilities and geography learning outcomes for high school students. This research was conducted experiments using a posttest only control group design. The research samples in the form of control and experimental classes were selected using the cluster random sampling method which had previously been tested for homogeneity via SPSS V.25 and was proven to be homogeneous. The data collection techniques used were critical thinking ability tests in the form of descriptions, geography learning outcomes tests in the form of multiple choice, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, critical thinking ability data analysis and learning outcomes data analysis. Based on the research results, it shows that the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) learning model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking abilities based on the Independent Sample t-test with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and also has a significant influence Influence on students' geography learning outcomes based on independent sample T-test with a significance value of 0.016 <0.05. This makes the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) learning model an alternative model that can be applied in schools to improve students' critical thinking skills and geography learning outcomes, especially high school students.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan elemen kunci dalam pembangunan nasional, pendidikan karakter dapat diintegrasikan dalam sistem pendidikan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi pustaka dan studi lapangan. Hasil studi literasi didapati bahwa pendidikan karakter menekankan pentingnya aspek keterampilan sosial, empati, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis.melalui pendidikan karakter, siswa madrasah diberdayakan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kepemimpinan, kreativitas, dan inovasi, yang akan mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi, stabilitas sosial, dan perkembangan masyarakat yang lebih baik. Dengan demikian, pendidikan karakter menjadi landasan kuat bagi siswa madrasah dalam berperan aktif mewujudkan Indonesia sebagai negara maju, makmur, dan berdaya saing global pada tahun 2045.

Abstract

Motivation is the basic urge that moves someone to behave. Motivation will help direct individuals to achieve what they want. Providing motivation is very important for someone who is pursuing their education. One thing that can trigger motivation is the provision of scholarships, one of which is the Smart Indonesia-College Card (KIP-K) scholarship. This article aims to provide an overview of student achievement motivation and what are the driving and inhibiting factors for achievement motivation of PAI study program students receiving KIP-K scholarships Class of 2020, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. This article was written using a descriptive qualitative approach using interview and documentation methods, and analyzed using a qualitative analysis model in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it was found that the achievement motivation of PAI study program students who received KIP-K scholarships at UIN K.H Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan was shown in the form of responsibility, courage to take risks, creative and innovative, good at managing time, and hard work. Apart from that, the factors driving motivation are high enthusiasm, encouragement from the family, and demands from the KIP Kuliah program. Meanwhile, the factors inhibiting student achievement motivation are difficulty dividing time, laziness, social environment and family economy.

Abstract

The study was conducted with the aim of increasing the interest and cognitive learning outcomes of grade XI students of MAS Al-Muslihun. The Problem Based Learning model and smart monopoly media are expected to spur students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm in participating in learning activities so that students' interest and learning outcomes increase. The type of research used is classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were all grade XI students, the sample of this study amounted to 18 students. This research data was obtained through tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed an increase in student interest in learning starting from the pre-cycle by 6.3%, while in cycle I to cycle II it increased by 28.15%. As for students' cognitive learning outcomes, it increased from pre-cycle to cycle I by 16.7%, while from cycle I to cycle II it increased by 38.89%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning assisted by smart monopoly media can increase students' interest and cognitive learning outcomes at MAS Al-Muslihun.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the significant effect of using the Instagram Polling Quiz application on students' vocabulary mastery. To help enhance the students’ vocabulary mastery of tenth grade at SMKN 1 Trenggalek. This research uses a quantitative design method with a quasi-experimental method that uses statistical analysis. This research involved tenth grade of DKV 1 students and tenth grade of DKV 3 students at SMKN 1 Trenggalek in the academic year of 2023/2024 as subjects. In collecting data, researchers used multiple choice tests as instruments. The analysis provided is a pre-test and post-test after treatment. The researcher analyzed the data obtained utilizing SPSS version 25 with paired sample t-test analysis. Furthermore the post-test score in the experimental class was higher than the control class (79,03 > 74,83). So that the results of the paired sample t-test for experimental class in this research show a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05. This means that is rejected and  is accepted. In conclusion, this research has been able to answer the research problem, namely “Is there any significant effect of utilizing Instagram Polling Quiz application towards students’ vocabulary mastery at the Tenth Grade of SMKN 1 Trenggalek?” Furthermore, there is a significant influence of implementing the Instagram Polling Quiz on students' vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the student administration that exists at MIN 4 Sukoharjo. Student administration is a service provided by the school to the student participant. The student administration at MIN 4 Sukoharjo covers new student admission programmes, new student appointment, implementation of school order in an effort to improve student discipline, and the execution of competition participation from the school level to the international level. The research uses qualitative research methods with interviews, observations, and documentation data collection techniques. The subjects in this study are representatives of the head of the student department and teachers. The results of the study show that there is implementation of student administration from the admission of new students to the graduation of students. With the existence of student administration can help the course of the process of order that exists in the school, as well as support for the enforcement of related activities between teachers and students including the inclusion of a race to measure the level of students' ability inside and outside the school.

Abstract

Digital learning media with 3D animation has become a trend in education, especially to improve science learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research examines the effectiveness of digital learning media using 3D animation in improving elementary school science learning outcomes. The method used is a literature review over a period of 5 years (2019-2023). The results of this research obtained data from the scholar.com database with the keyword digital learning using 3D animation in science subjects totaling 1,470 articles and 6 articles that met the inclusion criteria for analysis. Digital learning media with 3D animation is an effective learning media for improving elementary school science learning outcomes.
