Abstract

The court is an institution where the community seeks justice, by filing a lawsuit. Lawsuit is a claim for rights filed by the plaintiff against the defendant through the court, because the plaintiff feels his rights have been harmed by the defendant. There are at least 2 (two) or more parties defending their rights in the lawsuit civil procedural law, namely the plaintiff and the defendant. In filing a lawsuit there are 2 (two) types of lawsuits, namely voluntary and contentious. Voluntary lawsuits or so-called requests are made on the basis of the interests of only one party without any element of dispute. Contributory lawsuit is a lawsuit for a problem submitted where the parties are at least 2 (two) people and have an element of dispute . In everyday life in the community, there are many legal problems, especially in the civil field that can be filed for lawsuits or requests to court. However, the community does not yet know and understand how the process of examining civil lawsuits in district courts, as well as community members who live in villages Baja Kuning, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency. Some civil issues that occurred in Baja Kuning Village such as divorce, determination of heirs, assets gono like this, land disputes, household issues and others. The people in Baja Kuning Village wish to take legal action in courts in solving their problems, but they do not understand how the process is. Based on this fact, it encourages extension officers to carry out Legal Counseling with the Community Service model entitled The Civil Lawsuit Examination Process in the District Court.

Abstract

Processed products of palm sap are cooked for a certain duration of time to produce brown sugar. In general, the community still uses coconut/aren sap water as a raw material for making brown sugar, but currently residents of Pasar Eight village in Air Putih sub-district have made brown sugar using waste palm stems to get the sap water and then mix it with white sugar. The purpose of community service is to increase online marketing and provide education on making brown sugar that is correct and good for health. Brown sugar has its own advantages, but improper processing can harm health in order to gain unilateral benefits. Based on the results of observations when visiting brown sugar craftsmen (partners), information was obtained that the marketing of palm sugar palm sap was carried out online through social media face book and product orders had reached the Pekanbaru area, although not routinely. Therefore community service is carried out by providing outreach to brown sugar craftsmen in order to expand the marketing network which will increase sales, production and profits so as to open jobs for the community. The service method is carried out by observing and interviewing and outreach. It is hoped that the results of PkM activities can increase the knowledge of brown sugar craftsmen about online brown sugar marketing and the quality of brown sugar production and hygiene.

Abstract

ASI is the best intake because it has the amount of nutrients needed to protect a baby from various diseases. As the baby grows, so does the need for nourishment, so at the age of 6 months, the baby begins to be fed maternal feeding. MP-ASI maybe given from 6 months to 24 months. Mothers with good knowledge about MP-ASI will bring children to grow an develop well. A mother’s knowledge of the can MP-ASI include understanding, the benefit, the role, the manner of giving, ang the risk of giving. Providing good companion food ASI would have a good effect on the baby’s health and instead. The study used a type of experimental with the design of one group pre test – post test. The population in this study is all the mothers who have children aged 0 to 24 months in the village Percut district’s Deli Serdang. The technique used in determining a sample is to use the saturated sample in which all the population counts will be samples. And the number of samples is 23 people. With education comes increased knowledge from 13,0% increased to 60,9%.

Abstract

The Mardeka curriculum is motivated by the results of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) which shows that 70% of students aged 15 years are below the minimum competence in understanding simple reading or applying basic mathematical concepts. This PISA score has not experienced a significant increase in the last 10-15 years. In addition, there are large disparities between regions and between socio-economic groups in terms of the quality of learning which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Educators and education practitioners around the world are starting to realize that learning things outside the classroom can help students develop better. Studying things in everyday life can increase students' sensitivity and concern for the surrounding environment. However, in practice this has not been done optimally in the current education system. The Mardeka Curriculum Implementation Workshop for the Preparation of Learning Devices the Project to Strengthen Pancasila Student Profiles (P5) for SMKS and SMAS YPK Medan teachers was held for 4 days. During the workshop, there were 107 participants who attended. As a percentage, the total attendance of participants was 95%.

Abstract

Tumpatan Nibung Village is located in Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The people of Tumpatan Nibung Village live from agriculture, which consists of 90 percent of their living from cultivating paddy rice and 10 percent cultivating vegetable crops. The land in this village is rainfed land which has limited water, because it does not have irrigation so that the need for water depends on rainfall. The purpose of this service is to increase farmers' understanding of the benefits of using organic fertilizers both for the environment and to reduce the cost of buying chemical fertilizers and to provide added value for organic products that can increase income and also aims to transfer technology by providing training to farmers on how to make organic fertilizers derived from available in the village. The first method used was counseling to Farmer Groups with the theme of the benefits of organic fertilizers for the environment, calculating the cost of using organic fertilizers and the added value of organic fertilizers which can increase farmers' income. The second method used is training in making organic fertilizers. The third method is a demonstration plot for making organic fertilizer and cultivating vegetable crops using organic fertilizer.

Abstract

Economic growth can be achieved according to the target if a planned and structured business is carried out. One way is to encourage the creation of more entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is considered as the answer to overcome economic problems, especially to encourage economic growth and technological development. Apart from having an impact on increasing economic growth, entrepreneurial activity is also related to creating jobs. Another effort to strengthen the economy of the Indonesian people is through collaboration between universities and the business world, in this case focusing on MSME actors. Universities must be able to take a role in efforts to increase the potential of MSME actors through the results of research and studies conducted. The results of this research and study are expected to be able to bring about a change in the form of new creativity and innovation in the business world so as to provide benefits for MSME actors and the community. Apart from innovation and creativity, MSME actors also need to be given an understanding of product marketing in order to strengthen the competitiveness of selling community products as an effort to achieve economic independence. Therefore, the FEB UISU Entrepreneurship and Accounting study program conducted Community Service activities in Kubah Sentang Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method of implementing this training and mentoring mainly uses the method of action research activities. The implementing team carried out the activity of providing material while carrying out an analysis to solve the problems encountered. The material giving method is carried out by lectures, interactive question and answer, demonstrations and solving cases.

Abstract

Assistance in the practice of demonstration plots aims in addition to measuring the skills and capacity of farmers towards the adopted cultivation technology, as well as encourage farmers to return to nature by using Biosaka from natural materials (leaves) available in the surrounding environment as a substitute for chemical fertilizers. This activity was carried out in the farmer group Cendrawasi Jl. tuturuga Klamalu Village Mariat District Sorong Regency Southwest Papua in April to June, 2023 by involving students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University of Sorong (Unamin). The method applied in community service and empowerment activities to the community or farmers is the method of learning by doing. The achievements resulting from the mentoring activities of sweet corn cultivation demonstration plot practices with Elisitor Bisosaka include making plants grow lush, healthy, increasing sweet corn production by about 50%, in addition, the use of Elisitor Biosaka can save fertilizer and pesticide costs by about 50-60 %,

Abstract

KKNT is an academic activity of higher education which is manifested through the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education and teaching, research, and community service. As in the previous year, for 2023 the UISU Faculty of Engineering dispatched 159 semester VII students to carry out KKNT activities in 13 villages (out of 19 villages/wards) in Kecamatan Air Putih, Kabupaten Batu Bara. This activity lasted for 29 days from July 26 2023 to August 23 2023. The 2023 USU Faculty of Engineering KKNT carries the theme "Utilization of Sustainable Technological Innovation in Building Civilized Villages". Based on the monitoring and evaluation carried out by the KKNT Organizing Team and UISU Faculty of Engineering Leaders, the implementation of the KKNT for 29 days in 13 villages in Kecamatan Air Putih, was generally carried out well and according to plan. This was also confirmed from the remarks of the Camat  Air Putih during the pick-up event for KKNT participants which was held on Tuesday 22 August 2023. The sub-district head said that the presence of students based on information and confirmation from the head and village officials during the implementation of the KKNT was very positive. The presence of students has contributed and added value to the community, business activities (UMKM) and officials in each village. During the implementation of this KKNT, 13 main activities have been made as community service activities, which will be further developed and used for various student activities.

Abstract

Kubah Sentang is one of the villages in Pantai Labu sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra province, Indonesia. It consists of two hamlets, namely Hamlet I and Hamlet II. Kubah Sentang Village is directly adjacent to Kuala Namu Deli Serdang International Airport, Pematang Monastery Village, Durian Village and Pantai Labu Pekan Village. The majority of the people in Dome Sentang Village are generally fishermen, farmers and livestock and plantation laborers. But in the sentang dome itself there are UMKM or home industries that produce food such as ombus ombus and raden galoh which still need coaching both in terms of marketing and financial reports. The purpose of this community service is for training in making MSME financial reports at the Sentang Dome. The result of this service is that the people of Sentang Dome understand how to make simple financial reports and understand how to record income and expenses so that the cash books owned by MSMEs in Sentang Dome can be recorded neatly and easy to understand. Starting from recording transactions in the cash book to making journals and up to making simple financial reports consisting of profit and loss reports, reports on changes in capital and statements of financial position
