Abstract

The purpose of designing the Wrapped by Gea Website is to create a media that is more informative, effective in promotion and increases consumer trust and also to reach a wider market but also makes it easier for owners to convey information on marketed goods to prospective buyers and provide an attractive website page display. The Glass Box method is the method used in this study where this method always tries to determine the facts and the factual causes or reasons that underlie the design of the Wrapped By Gea website. In the process of data analysis in the design of the Wrapped By Gea website using 5W + 1H analysis which aims to determine and solve the problems encountered and find solutions to these problems. In the process of designing the user experience website, observations have been made on the habits and desires of the users, as well as the results of observations and studies are compiled and made with a simple layout that is easy to understand. The design that is made produces a main media for web design Wrapped by Gea. This web design is designed in a simple way with a simple, good, and easy to understand layout and flow, so that users do not find it difficult when running the website. In addition to the main media for the Wrapped by Gea web design, a supporting media was also created to support the main media, namely Promotional Videos, Social Media, Paper Bags, Stickers, X-Banners, Posters, and Lanyards.

Abstract

Nagari Tuo Pariangan is a tourist village in Indonesia which is one of the supporting factors and drivers of the welfare of the people who live in it and is also a solution to accelerate village development which can have a positive effect in the form of improving the quality of the environment and the preservation of the culture contained therein. The purpose of this design is to produce a Destination Branding design for Nagari Tuo Pariangan as the oldest village in Minangkabau in order to optimize awareness and visitor interaction in Nagari Tuo Pariangan. The method used in this design is the 4D method, which consists of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. By using the SWOT data analysis method. This branding design will produce the main media in the form of Brand Guidline Book, and supporting media in the form of DL Envelope, letterhead, business card, landyard, id card, Brochure, Instagram feed, Infographic, Wayfinding System, Signage, Billboard, Expo Booth, banner, Merchandise, Totebag, T-shirt, and umbrella.

Abstract

The one shot shooting technique for showing character changes in the main character in the film Sabda Kekasih is packaged very interestingly. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the one shot shooting technique used to show character changes in the main character. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to reveal changes in the character of the main character which is displayed using the one shot technique. These character changes can be seen from the dialogue, expressions and behavior displayed and will be dissected using Lajos Egri's characterization theory which discusses the dimensions of physiology, sociology and psychology. The result of this research is that the character experiences a change in character due to an accident he experiences that makes him blind. So it can be concluded that the character changes that occurred to the main character in the film Sabda Kekasih occurred because of the accident he experienced.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out what cinematographic techniques are used in the movie entitled Sang Prawira by Ponti Gea with cinematographic techniques.This research uses qualitative descriptive research method. In this research, the researcher describes or constructs the theory that exists in the research subject. In this study, the aim is to know, the object of research is to analyze the cinematographic techniques used in the film Sang Prawira by Ponti Gea. The results of the research presented in this article show that cinematographic techniques are analyzed with the 5C camera angle formula, close-up/shot size, composition, continuity and cutting. There are 5 cinematographic techniques of Joseph V. Mascelli A.S.C which is also done by the MRG Film Team in the making of the movie sang prawira, namely camera angle, close up/shot size, composition, continuity, and cutting/editing.

Abstract

The aim of making this final work is to convey life lessons, as well as introduce new techniques in the world of crafts, which are then expressed through the work in the form of visuals of fishermen's activities. The method of creation in this final work is carried out in stages, namely: the preparation stage is observations related to ideas and concepts of the author's interest, elaboration is the stage of exploring and displaying the diversity of fishing activities in terms of field surveys and electronic media, synthesis is the creation of an idea for a work , the realization of the concept is a stage of the work process and the completion or finishing of the work. Based on the method used, a work was created in the form of a wall decoration with fishermen's activities as the main object, which was made using the 3D Wood Shadow Box technique. The author created seven works with the titles: "Hope", "Reap", "Adrift", "Congratulations", "Shoulder to shoulder", "Rich", and "Alhamdulillah".

Abstract

This work aims to visualize the author's childhood in the past that will never be repeated in contemporary painting. At that time every day the author enjoyed various games and activities that provided fun such as: playing ball, kites, playing old tires, jumping rope, playing bicycles, exploring.  The author recalls childhood in the past which was a period of transition from traditional games to modern games with gadgets and online games. Technology has changed and replaced traditional games to games that exist on technological media such as games in mobile phones (cellphones). The method of creating this work follows five stages, namely preparation, looking for ideas and ideas. Then, at the elaboration stage, recall and talk with the author's childhood friends by looking back at the excitement and joy of childhood. In the third stage, the synthesis stage, choosing ideas that will be applied in a work of art. Next, the stages of concept realization, sketching and asking for the approval of the supervisor. Finally, the completion stage, presenting the painting work in the form of a final exhibition. The work featuring visualizations of the author's childhood consists of 10 works with the title, "Shepherd Boy", "Jumping Rope", "Playing Marbles", "After School", "Cycling", "Going Home Quran", "Brother", "Monitoring","Old Tires", "Kite Playing".

Abstract

Teenagers, especially in West Sumatra, do not know about kerambit as a traditional weapon originating from West Sumatra. Even though the kerambit itself was used by the US army as a military weapon, its origins were not really known by the West Sumatran teenagers themselves. This is the result of teenagers' lack of curiosity about history and a lack of media that can attract their attention. The aim of designing this 2D animation is to foster teenagers' interest in studying history with new media and provide education about kerambit and its history through 2D animation media by utilizing social media as promotional media. The method used in this design is the 4D method, which consists of define, design, develop and disseminate. Using the 5W+1H data analysis method. This design produces main media in the form of 2D animated videos, and supporting media in the form of t-shirts, printed posters, stickers, social media content, Acrylic stands, and x-banners.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and reveal the presentation form of Rampak Sapinggan dance by Sanggar Sarunai Tonic in Payakumbuh Barat sub-district, Payakumbuh City This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive method The main instrument used is the researcher himself and supported by supporting instruments such as writing tools, cameras, and smartphones Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature study, observation, and interviews Data analysis techniques are by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that Tari Rampak Sapinggan is one of the Creative Dances developed based on the basic movements of dance and Minang silek movements Tari Rampak Sapinggan is a non-representational dance, which means it does not depict anything Tari Rampak Sapinggan has a sequence of movements that starts from: sambah movement, tapuak galembong, ayun babuai, maarak or manjapuik, sanduak mancukam, lenggok baayun, baganjua maju, bajombo-jombo, basiang tagak, kibeh, baganjua suruik batanam, salingkuang korong, mambori sambah The number of dancers is 5 or odd, the floor pattern uses straight and curved lines The accompanying music uses traditional Minangkabau music such as Gandang, Talempong, and Sarunai Makeup uses beautiful makeup for women and handsome makeup for men Men's costumes wear rang mudo shirts, destar, galembong, and sasampiang, while women wear kurung clothes, songket skirts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and reveal the existence of Reog Ponorogo art in Nagari Sungai Duo, Sitiung District, Dharmasraya Regency. This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research instrument is the researcher himself and assisted by tools such as pens and cameras. Techniques of literary research, observation and interviews were used for data collection. The stages of analysis are carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the existence of Reog Ponorogo art experienced ups and downs due to changes in its performances that made the mindset of the Nagari Sungai Duo people, especially the younger generation who were already interested in modern art and low public interest in Reog Ponorogo Art. In 1977-2013 Reog Ponorogo art existed in the midst of society, in its performances presenting mystical elements, trance and immune attractions. In 2014-2019, Reog Ponorogo's art has rarely been shown because the show does not present mystical elements which causes the audience to switch and prefer Orgen Tunggal. In 2020-2021, Reog Ponorogo Art was not displayed at all due to the Corona virus. In 2022, Reog Ponorogo Art was displayed at the event to enliven Independence Day on August 17 and a cultural parade danced as a welcome guest from the Regent of Dharmasraya on the football field. In 2023 there is another demand for Reog Ponorogo Art to be displayed at weddings.

Abstract

The rapid and easy access to internet technology has also increased the popularity of Muslim fashion. The easier access to the internet, affects the increase in social media users from various socio-economic backgrounds, education levels and ages, as well as the fashion industry which is no longer intended only for certain elites. Moslem Hanania is a brand that sells Muslim clothing products for women that has offline and online stores. Moslem Hanania was founded in 2019 in Jakarta. The online sales process is currently most often used, namely through WhatssApp and Shopee, the obstacle felt by the owner at this time is that the product introduction and marketing activities are deemed less than optimal. If you only rely on existing online shopping applications, the obstacle is in competition and potential customers will not focus on the products you have. The second obstacle is that the owner wants to focus more on online sales but wants to have its own characteristics in online sales, the owner wants in online sales, the brand has its own website. The UI/UX design of the Moslem Hanania Website uses the Design Thingking method, so it can be concluded that this design is a problem that comes from a sense of empathy, the need for a solution to an existing problem, then continues to test for improvement.
