Abstract

This article explores the intricate dynamics of employee engagement, managerial support, and performance recognition as drivers of innovation in the context of a global business environment. Utilizing multiple linear regression analysis on data gathered from Telkomsel in Jakarta, the study reveals that while employee engagement showed a positive relationship with innovation, it did not reach statistical significance. In contrast, managerial support and performance recognition exhibited significant positive impacts on the Drivers of Innovation. The overall model was highly significant (Sig. F = 0.000), with a substantial R Square value of 0.689, indicating that nearly 69% of the variance in innovation could be explained by these factors collectively. These findings offer actionable insights for businesses seeking to enhance their innovative capacities, emphasizing the critical role of leadership support and employee recognition in fostering an adaptive and creative organizational culture within the complex landscape of the global business arena.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of Operational Efficiency Level, Organizational Flexibility Level, and Process Innovation Level on Total Business Performance at PT Bukit Asam (Bengkulu Branch). Multiple regression analysis conducted to examine the effect of Operational Efficiency Level, Organizational Flexibility Level, and Process Innovation Level on Total Business Performance at PT Bukit Asam (Bengkulu Branch) resulted in important findings. Operational Efficiency and Organizational Flexibility significantly and positively influence Total Business Performance, indicating their potential to improve overall business performance. However, Process Innovation did not show a significant influence at the time of analysis. The regression model explained about 65.7% of the variance in Total Business Performance, emphasizing the collective significance of these variables. Nonetheless, about 34.3% of the variation remained unexplained, suggesting the presence of additional influential factors beyond the scope of the model. These findings highlight the importance of prioritizing Operational Efficiency and Organizational Flexibility strategies to improve business performance. The findings also underscore the need for further exploration or broader context consideration of Process Innovation to comprehensively improve business performance. This study assists management in formulating more effective strategies, recognizing the critical factors that impact business performance while acknowledging the complexity in determining the whole.

Abstract

This study investigates the interconnectedness between Level of Business Innovation (LBI), Financial Stability (FS), Industry Competition Level (LIC), and Business Flexibility (BF). Utilizing Smart-PLS analysis, direct effects were affirmed, showing LBI's positive impact on LIC and BF, FS's influence on LIC, BF, and LIC's effect on BF. Additionally, indirect effects were examined, revealing LBI and FS indirectly affecting BF through LIC mediation. Results demonstrate that heightened Business Innovation fosters Industry Competition and Business Flexibility. Improved Financial Stability correlates with heightened Industry Competition, thereby impacting Business Flexibility. However, indirect impacts from LBI and FS to BF via LIC were modest but statistically significant, highlighting the mediated influence of Industry Competition. Understanding these relationships illuminates strategies leveraging innovation, stability, and industry competition for organizational adaptability. The study underscores the complexity of these linkages, guiding businesses toward enhancing adaptability and resilience in competitive markets.
