Abstract

This research is aimed at acknowledging the effectiveness of utilizing elementary school Islamic Religion Education Textbooks in Balikpapan City. The focus of this research in the availability and utilization of as well as the problems faced in relation to the books. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data Collection was performed though interviews and observations. The collected data were then sorted based on research focus category for further in-depth analysis. The research results show that in Balikpapan city, the optimization of the utilization of Islamic Religion Education Books in Elementary Schools highly depends on the availability of compulsory and auxiliary books as the manifestation of the policies issued by the entire education apparatus, starting from stakeholders, education components, as well as public support. Curriculum selection also greatly affects the book utilization process. Because, in fact, the 2013 curriculum book distribution is not yet maximum. There is even a school deciding to return to the Education Unit Level Curriculum due to textbook availability, whereas the schools concerned is one of the pilot schools for the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in Balikpapan City. The aspect of supervision on distribution also becomes important in the context of supporting the achievement of the Islam religion education objective through the requirement-based book availability. However, in general, teachers and parents’ initiatives greatly support the maximization of the utilization of books as learning sources in Balikpapan City.

Abstract

This research is aimed at acknowledging the concept and implementation of character education in the Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta. As a university under the Muhammadiyah, character education is the main objective of the education implemented in UHAMKA. This research is a qualitative research In this context, the researcher is the main instrument collecting and interpreting the existing data. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a number of UHAMKA key informants and written documents related to character education. The research results show that UHAMKA has developed a character education model through the AIKA curriculum. This AIKA curriculum has been formulated in such a manner with systematic management from the aspects of policies, contents and organization so that it can be referred to as a model. However, the application of the AIKA curriculum has not reached the expected target. There are many things that must be reformed in order to achieve the objective of character education in UHAMKA especially those related to the relatively cognitive material contents and learning method.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research to find out the effect of the level religious educational service with the religiusitas student. The research was conducted in SMA/SMK Government and non Government in the  Medan Nort Sumatera using 1X2  design involving 22 schools chosen by using purposive random sampling.The data analysis and interpretation indicated that: There is not difference religiusitas value student in the school have religious educational service high between the school have religious educational service low. The conclusion the level school has religious educational service not effect againt religiusitas student value.

Abstract

PAI merupakan pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan pembentukan  jiwa spiritual dan karakter positif (akhlak) siswa. Untuk tercapainya  karakter tersebut beberapa lembaga pendidikan (sekolah) telah melaksanakan pendidikan karakter secara berhasil dengan model yang mereka kembangkan sendiri-sendiri. Sekolah inilah yang menjadi best practices dalam pelaksanaan  pendidikan karakter melalui pendidikan agama di IndonesiaPenelitian ini bertujuan mengekplorasi  keunggulan Pendidikan Agama Islam yang dilakukan oleh 14 SMA/SMK yang tersebar di 12 Provinsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, diskusi kelompok (facus group discussion), observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sangat penting dalam kelangsungan serta dukungan pengembangan kebijakan kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah, Guru PAI menjadi sentral dari keberhasilan pengembangan keagamaan dan corak berpikir keagamaan siswa, Posisi Rohis sangat strategis dalam mengembangkan generasi muda yang memiliki wawasan keagamaan yang moderat, toleran dan islam rahmatan lil alamin. Pelaksanaan tadarus pada setiap memulai pelajaran pertama, shalat duha, shalat berjamaah, pelaksanaan PHBI, Kultum setelah shalat jamaah, keputrian, pesantren kilat dan mentoring menjadi penguat atau standard dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lapas Bulukumba dan Rutan Bantaeng dengan menggunakan metode Kualitatif dengan tujuan mengungkap dan menggambarkan proses, dampak perilaku, pendukung dan penghambat terhadap pembinaan keagamaan bagi warga binaan pemasyarakatan (WBP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan keagamaan dilaksanakan secara integrasi yang dilaksanakan di masjid dan ruang keterampilan dengan menggunakan metode asisitensi (kaderisasi) yang fokus pada fiqh (shalat) dan baca tulis qur’an (BTQ) secara terpisah antara WBP pria dan wanita. Peran Organisasi Keagamaan (Wahdah) dan warga binaan pemasyarakatan (WBP) sangat membantu pihak lapas/rutan dalam memberikan kontribusi pembinaan keagamaan. Meskipun di sisi lain, optimalisasi pembinaan keagamaan belum berjalan secara maksimal, karena sinergisitas antara Menhumkam dan Kementerian Agama (penyuluh Agama) terjadi kevakuman sejak tahun 2008 s/d 2009, sehingga, pemenuhan pembinaan keagamaan terhadap warga binaan pemasyarakatan lapas Bulukumba dan rutan Bantaeng sangat terbatas. Keberhasilan suatu pembinaan keagamaan di lapas/rutan, apabila didukung oleh pengelola yang memiliki SDM berdasar bidang keilmuan, pemenuhan sarana dan prasaranah (wadah dan reverensi), serta konsistensi jadwal dan pengelola pada pelaksanaan.

Abstract

AbstractReligious education in schools must be given to students in accordance with the religion adopted and taught by teachers of the same religion. Religious education for children is also one form of implementation of human rights. Many schools have implemented in accordance with the rules. However, several schools, especially private schools, have not implemented religious education in schools in accordance with the regulations. This research is trying to know the implementation of religious education in private schools, in this case, Vocational High School Bakti Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung. The results show that Buddhist, Christian, Catholic, Islamic, and Buddhist Education have been implemented in Bakti Vocational High School (SMK) Pangkalpinang according to the religion of the students. However, Confucian Religion Education has not been implemented in this School. AbstrakPendidikan Agama di sekolah wajib diberikan kepada peserta didik sesuai dengan agama yang dianut dan diajar oleh guru yang seagama. Pendidikan agama bagi anak juga merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi hak asasi manusia. Banyak sekolah telah mengimplementasikan sesuai dengan peraturan. Namun masihtidak sedikit sekolah, khususnya sekolah swasta, yang belum mengimplementasikan pendidikan agama di sekolah sesuai dengan ketentuan. Penelitian ini berusaha mengetahui implementasi pendidikan agama di sekolah swasta, dalam hal ini, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bakti Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Buddha, Kristen, Katholik, Islam, dan telah diimplementasikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bakti (SMK) Pangkalpinang sesuai agama yang dipeluk peserta didik. Adapun Pendidikan Agama Konghucu belum diimplementasikan di Sekolah ini.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper presents the result of the study at State High School 2 Semarang which reveals the strengthening of PAI (Islamic Religious Education) learning by playing a role of Rohis (Mosque Family Council) as the spearhead in respondingto aspirations and student participation. The study took place from February to July 2016 using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through a checklist, interview, observation and documentation. The result of descriptive data analysis shows that the role of rohis in strengthening the PAI learning has been able to foster creativity of students through an aspirative and interesting program thus it is more intriguing the students’ interest to follow the religious deepening material as the reinforcement of regular material received in a classroom. In the process, GPAI remains the main institution in charge and the main driver of PAI learning supported by principals and teachers and parents.AbstrakTulisan ini menyajikan hasil penelitian di SMAN 2 Semarang yang mengungkap penguatan pembelajaran PAI dengan memeranankan Rohis sebagai ujung ombak dalam merespon aspirasi dan partisipasi siswa. Penelitian ini berlangsungpada bulan Februari hingga Juli tahun 2016 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui daftar isian, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data secara deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa pemeranan rohis dalam penguatan pembelajaran PAI telah dapat menumbuhkan kreatiftas siswa melalui program yang aspiratif dan menarik sehingga lebihmenggugah minat siswa untuk mengikuti materi pendalaman agama sebagai penguatan dari materi reguler yang diterima di ruang kelas. Dalam proses itu GPAI tetap menjadi penangungjawab dan penggerak utama pembelajaran PAI yang didukung oleh kepala sekolah dan para guru serta orang tua siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the best practice of religious education at schools. As many cases has been blown up by the medias, that religious education at schools took place discriminately where the minority religiously student haven’t ever got service according to theirs and by the same religious teacher. This research found that there were any best practiced at schools that serve religious education according to student’s religious and by the same teacher. These cases were founded at: SMA Labschool Jakarta, SMA Katholik Santo Joseph Denpasar, SMA Ananda Bekasi, SMA SLUA Denpasar, SMK Gloria Manado, SMPN 2 Ende Flores, SMPN 1 Ambon, SMAN 1 Denpasar, SMAN 1 Bogor, SMAN 1 Manado, SMK Singkawang, and SMK Bangkabelitung. Data collected through qualitative approach using interview, observation, and relevant document study, and listed questions as well. The research conducted at 2015 at such location mentioned. Any persons and figures that the data and information derived from were head schools, religious teachers, school staffs, school committees, and students as well. The research concluded that religious education at such schools has been served according to student’s religion, and by the same religious teachers. Religious teachers recruited either by government, local government, head schools with agreement of school committee or by foundation that lead the schools.

Abstract

Studi ini mengevalusi implementasi PBSB dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP, yaitu melihat  input, proses, output dan outcome PBSB. Dari temuan di lapnngan ditemukan bahwa adanya relevansi antara implementasi PBSB dengan tujuan yang diidealisasikan PBSB, yaitu dari aspek input, kebijakan afirmasi sangat nampak dari program ini, yakni memberikan akses pendidikan beasiswa bagi keluarga tidak mampu dimana mereka lebih banyak yang mengambil jurusan umum dari pada agama. Dari aspek proses, studi ini menemukan bahwa santri berhasil menyelesaikan studi tepat waktu,  terutama santri berlatarbelakang keluarga tidak mampu. Dari aspek output/produk, prestasi akademik  santri yang berasal dari keluarga tidak mampu berhasil memperoleh rerata nilai cukup tinggi 3,32. Namun, pengabdian mereka sebagai pemberdaya pesantren belum sepenuhnya tumbuh, di mana aktivitas alumni PBSB di pesantren masih terbatas persentasenya pada pengelolaan administrasi, pengajaran dan pengembangan life skill.

Abstract

This research is to identify: the progress of the religious educations’ program towards the package A, B, and C program that are spread to 7 provinces in Indonesia. Survey method appears as the method used in this research. The result of the research indicates: 1) the obligation for the people to attend the educational religious course is considered still not well implemented by the institutions’ packages, 2) the amount of religious tutors in the establishment of religious education by the third package is still few, 3) religious tutors with irrelevant background to the formal education still exist 4) There are program organizers that are still considering the implementation of religious education appear not as a compulsory lesson, 5) the coordination between the ministry of religious affairs and the ministry of education and culture is still considered low related to the religious education’s establishment on the package.
