Abstract

STMIK STIKOM Indonesia (STIKI Indonesia) memiliki data alumni yang cukup banyak tetapi data tersebut tidak diolah lebih lanjut untuk menjadi informasi yang lebih berguna. STIKI Indonesia juga kurang mengetahui informasi persebaran alumni di dunia kerja. Untuk mengatasi permasalah tersebut dapat memanfaatkan teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dan data mining. SIG memiliki kemampuan untuk menyajikan informasi dalam bentuk grafis dan data mining bisa mengekstraksi pola yang tersembunyi dari database besar. Clustering dilakukan pada data alumni dengan atribut bidang pekerjaan, Indeks Prestasi Komulatif (IPK), lama study dan lama pengerjaan tugas akhir. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) dan untuk pengukuran validitas cluster menggunakan Modified Partition Coefficient (MPC) dan Classification Entropy (CE). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah cluster yang paling optimal adalah 7 cluster dan cluster yang memiliki karakteristik terbaik adalah cluster ke 1 yang jumlah anggotanya 49 (9,3155% dari jumlah keseluruhan alumni), jumlah ini masih sangat kecil jika dibandingkan dengan total keseluruhan jumlah alumni. Pengujian menggunakan metode black box pada Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Persebaran Alumni dengan Analisa Clustering didapatkan hasil bahwa semua modul dalam sistem telah berfungsi dengan baik.

Abstract

Abstract—This paper present about recognition of gamelan rindik pattern using wavelet transform. Wavelet transform is used to find the special characteristic of gamelan rindik, which had previously been recorded and stored in computer with format *.wav. The data was subsequently used as training and tested data, Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN) was used to recognize gamelan rindik pattern using. The training and tasted data process used four different rindics, consisting 0f 240 gamelan rindik data. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) was used as the method of feature extraction, with Symlet, Haar, and Daubechies Wavelet function. Those three functions of the wavelet shows the average accuracy level for Symlet 94.58%, Haar 93.33%, and wavelet Daubechies 94.58%.

Abstract

The objective of this project is to design and develop an hexapod robot that can locate fire and extinguish it. The design of the robot consists of mechanical or frame, electronics, and software designs. The hexapod robot is a robot with six legs. The legs are driven by servo motors with Three Degree of Freedom (3DOF) to smooth the movement. The servo control uses Torobot 32 Channel servo controller. The fire detection and estinguishing capability are designed using ultrasonic and infrared sensors together with Uvtron sensor. The fire detection system uses Uvtron Hamamats which detects the presence of ultraviolet light through the sensor tube with detection distance up to five meters. The main controller of the robot is Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller. The algorithm of the robot movement uses wall-following technique to trace the space hence safe path for the robot to move. The robot will move through the room until it locates a fire and then activate the pump to extinguish it, and performs a fire check again. The performance of the robot is tested following typical room simulation as described in the guidelines of Indonesian Robotic Contest.

Abstract

PDAM in carrying out operational activities is greatly influenced by the receivables or arrears of customer water bills. Some factors that influence customer patterns in delinquent water bills are customer class and consumption of water usage, which affects the water bill paid by the customer. This study will apply the K-Medoids clustering method to find out customers who are delinquent in the PDAM by optimizing the selection of cluster centers using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm. In this study the combination of ACO and K-Medoids methods is called ACOMedoids. The results with the ACOMedoids method can produce a high level of accuracy from the comparison of clustering data with actual bill data. This can be seen from the results of accuracy which is always better than the K-Medoids method, which is the highest achieves 97.65% accuracy for ACOMedoids while K-Medoids is 88.29%. Accuracy results show that the ACO algorithm can produce optimal cluster center points in the clustering process of the K-Medoids method.

Abstract

The Microhydro Power Plant (MHP) is a small-scale power plant that uses hydropower. The most important component in a microhydro power plant is a turbine. The turbine used in this MHP model is the Archimedes screw turbine. In this research will discuss about the effect of water pressure on the rotation produced by Archimedes screw turbine so that it can be seen voltage, current, generated power by generator, torque and efficiency in modeling of MHP. Changes in water pressure given at 4 psi, 8 psi, 12 psi, 16 psi, 20 psi, and 24 psi. The highest measurement results are obtained at 24 psi water pressure, where the voltage, current, and generator output power is 85.8 Volt, 0.1963 Ampere and 16.85 Watt. For the rotation speed of the generator at 24 psi pressure is equal to 4582 rpm, while the speed of turbine rotation produced at 24 psi this pressure is equal to 383 rpm before coupled with generator and 222 rpm after coupled with generator. The torque and efficiency produced at 24 psi pressure are 0.73 Nm and 18.1%.

Abstract

Pendaftaran Mahasiswa Baru pada susatu institusi pendidikan seperti STMIK STIKOM Bali adalah sebuah kegiatan yang rutin dilaksanakan setiap tahun ajaran baru. Dimana pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru tersebut selalu meningkat dari tahun ketahun namun calon mahasiswa yang melakukan pendaftaran tidak semua yang melanjutkan kelangkah registrasi dari sejumlah calon mahasiswa yang sudah dinyatakan lulus. Hal ini akan menjadi sangat terlambat untuk mengambil tindakan apabila ternyata mahasiswa baru yang registrasi sangat sedikit jumlahnya. Dengan tidak diketahuinya mehasiswa yang registrasi, maka pihak – pihak perguruan tinggi tidak dapat mengetahui dengan pasti kapanjumlah target penerimaan mahasswa baru tercapai Dalam permasalahan ini penggunaan teknik data mining diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan – pengetahuan yang sebelumnya tersembunyi di dalam gudang data, sehingga menjadi informasi yang berharga bagi organisasi. Pada penelitian ini model klasifikasi dan frequen pattern di buat untuk mengidentifikasi pola data dan kemunculannya untuk kelas status “lanjut” atau “mundur pendaftaran”. Beberapa task mining digunakan untuk memprediksi calon mahasiswa yaitu dengan teknik klasifikasi dan teknik Frequent Pattern yang mengektrak model dan menggambarkan kelas data penting. Algoritma yang digunakan adalah Decision Tree dan Apriori. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk implementasi adalah WEKA. Kata Kunci— Data Mining, Klasifikasi, Decision Tree, Frequent Pattern.

Abstract

Abstract—Public street lighting (LPJU) is a road infrastructure that is very important for road users at night. The constraints faced by User managers in an area in LPJU management are the problem of maintenance, monitoring, electricity consumption, and limited workforce. In an effort to overcome this problem, this study designed a tool in the LPJU system that can control LPJU ignition according to user needs by combining the timer and light sensor functions, and can monitor electricity consumption by calculating the power consumption or kWh meter and recording data on accumulation of electric power consumption every day at 06.00 WITA automatically stored on the micro SD Card. The accumulated data last recorded for 1 (one) month at the beginning of each month at 08.00 WITA will be sent using SMS services to users periodically. In addition, the user can monitor at any time with the "lapor" SMS format, the monitoring data sent in the form of the last electrical power consumption used by LPJU at that time.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one concerning lives of the people, then provision must be able to ensure the availability of a sufficient number, reasonable prices and good quality. Until now, the use of fossil fuels is still quite high as a primary energy source that is utilized in the process of generating electricity. It has an impact on climate change so that Greenhouse Gases (GHG) arise. The composition of energy use at the end of the projection (2030) uses LEAP software Household consists of the sector amounted to 5.865,1 GWh, Industrial sector of 490.380,6 GWh, Public (Commercial) sector of 3.547,5 GWh, and from Transportation sector as big as 7.220.937,8 BoE. The projection of GHG emissions using LEAP software shows that emissions in 2030 for the Household sector amounted to 8.9115 million tCO2eq, the Industrial sector amounted to 1212.3964 million tCO2eq, the Transportation sector amounted to 26.2161 million tCO2eq, and when the generation of electricity was 33,0955 million tCO2eq. So the total GHG emissions generated are 1,280,6196 million tCO2eq, this amount is an accumulated increase from 2015 of 61.4533 million tCO2eq. To suppress the amount of increase of that size, efforts need to be made such as promoting the use of environmentally friendly energy. Reduce the use of private vehicles and switch to public transportation. The government must also support by providing environmentally friendly mass transportation facilities.

Abstract

The dependence of power plants on energy sources such as diesel, natural gas and coal is almost 75%, encouraging the development of renewable energy in an effort to meet the electricity supply. One of them is the micro hydro power plant by utilizing the potential of existing water. The working principle of PLTMH is to change the potential energy of water into electrical energy. In this final project has been designed modeling of micro hydro power plant by using screw turbine (Archimedes Screw). The turbine used resembles a drill bit, with a diameter of a turbine of 26 cm, a screw width of 10 cm, and an amount of 10 pieces of blade. Measurements made on the modeling of micro hydro power plants include: water discharge, turbine rotation, generator rotation, voltage, current, torque and generator output power and efficiency. The parameters are measured by changing the water fall on the turbine from the position of the turbine head angle 00, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, 700, 800 and 900 . The result of measurement that has been done on the parameters of micro hydro power plant modeling, obtained the highest measurement result at the corner of turbine head 400. The output power generated is 10.92 watts, torque is 0.60 Nm and efficiency of 14%. The results obtained are still low because the turbine rotation is less able to rotate the generator, where the generator torque is greater than the torque in the turbine. This is influenced by the small water discharges in the modeling of this micro hydro power plant.

Abstract

Abstract— The difficulty of determining the right keywords to get the right image is the disadvantages of image search methods based on metadata keywords. Current technology developments lead to content-based image retrieval (CBIR). One feature of image content used for image retrieval is the color feature. To improve CBIR performance, this study investigated the comparison between SOM and Fuzzy C-Means segmentation methods. This segmentation method separates the foreground and background of the query image to get better CBIR performance. This study used Wang Dataset image database. Testing is done with test images that have undergone scale, rotation and blurring. The results of the test show that the segmentation method improves the recall value or the true image that has been found, but significantly reduces the precision value or the true image ratios of the overall images found compared without using segmentation method.
