Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to investigate the influence of Employee Competence frontliner towards Effectiveness Of Services In PT Bank BTN Tbk Palembang Branch. The hypothesis of the existing problems, namely: "frontliner competency has positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of services in PT Bank BTN Tbk Palembang Branch". The Sampling technique in this study using censuses method. The methods of data collecting used to conduct this study were questionnaires test to validity and reability of questionnaires and used 46 respondens. Meanwhile the methods of data analysis, the researchers used a test instrument to test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. Furthermore, a simple regression analysis was used to find the regression equation. Then, correlation and coefficient determination test were done to find out the relationship between the independent and dependent variables and to find out how much the independent variable was influenced by the dependent variable. The results of this study show that the employee competence frontliner towards effectiveness of services PT Bank BTN Tbk Palembang branch of 11.2%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Research aim to analyze the effect of granting credit towards profitability in the Syariah Bank and Commercial Bank in Indonesia. Granting credit is shown with the LDR (Loan To Deposit Ratio) and the profitability shown by ROA (Return On Assets). This is important for the bank to analyze some influence to increase the ROA target condition the appropriate of bank and economic situation. The technique of the sample used is purposive of sampling with the selection criteria of Syariah Banks and Commercial Banks which have the financial report of research complete in the period 2009 – 2011. The technique analysis used is linear regression simple by the with test the hypothesis in partial (T-test). The result showed that variable LDR do not influence significantly to ROA on Syariah Bank while LDR variable influence significantly to ROA on Commercial Banks.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose of this research is to know and analyze the effect of promotion on Job Satisfaction of employees in Kantor Wilayah Dirjen Pajak (DJP) Sumsel and Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Sampling using census technic with a total population (employees) Kantor Wilayah Dirjen Pajak (DJP) Sumsel and Kepulauan Bangka Belitung totaling 91 employees. Respondents derived from distribution of questionnaires by 55 respondents. Variabel measurement in this research used Questionnaries Linkert Scale and the type of collected data is primary data. The collected data are treated using simple regression analysis. The result showed that simple linear regression equation was obtained to Y = 27.412 + 0.487 X and t value 10,199 > t table 1,673. Based on these result indicated that job promotion has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of employees in Kantor Wilayah Dirjen Pajak (DJP) Sumsel and Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Promotion policy can be maintained for a defined good promotional companies make employees feel satisfaction in their work and enhance their knowledge and job experience of the employees.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Motivation is important because the motivation of every employee is expected to work hard to achieve organizational goals. This study analyzes the factors that influence culture and organizational commitment on employee motivation at PT. Astra International, Tbk – Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. The problems of the researcher is to knowIs there any influence of organizational culture on employee motivation and organizational commitment influence on employee motivation and to determine which variables most influence on employee motivation PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. This study develops three hypotheses in order to answer the problems that exist. This study conducted a census of 170 people while as many as 162 questionnaires were returned. The respondent is an employee of PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) using Lisrel programas ananalysis tool. Results of data analysis showed that the hypothesis can be accepted. The results proved that organizational culture has apositive and significant impacton employee motivation with at-value>1.96 is equal to11.54 with an estimated value of 0.82 and acommitment to the organization also has a positive effect on the motivation of working with t-value of 16,42 with an estimated value of 1.02. Organizational commitment is the most significan t variable with a value of 11.54t- value in comparison with the value oforganizational culturet-value 11.54 on employee motivation PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. Based on the results of this study provide the oretical implications of a strong influence on employee motivation such as organizational culture and organizational commitment. managerial implications of this research is the PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. need to pay attention and make employees become part of the organization because of the presence of emotional or psychological bond that employee shave the awareness and commitment to the organization is indeed to be done.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), BOPO, Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) towards Return On Asset (ROA) of Sum-Sel Babel Bank in the period of December 2000 – December 2012. This research used data from publication of quarterly financial reports and annual reports of Sumsel Babel Bank in the period of December 2000 – December 2012. Multiple regression is used to analiyze the data. The results show that CAR, NIM, BOPO, LDR, and NPL influences the performance of Sumsel Babel Bank. These independent variables are able to explain 66.4% of the variability of ROA and the remaining 33.6% of the variability of ROA is influenced by other factors which is not included in the model. The result shows that only BOPO and LDR have significant effect on Return On Asset (ROA). BOPO has negative effect but LDR has positive effect. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and NPL have no sifnificant effect to Return On Asset (ROA) whatsoever on the performance of SumSel Babel Bank. The result finds that the findings are consistent with the hypotheses but three variables CAR, NIM and NPL are not significant.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of motivation, compensation, leadership, organizationa culture, and organizational environment focusing to job satisfaction on individual responses. This apaer uses a quantitative analysis by distributing questionnaires randomly to sixty two respondents as samples. They work for human resource department in PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja. Findings suggest that the quantitative research approach is useful in showing the influence. Validity and reliability test are used to determine the accuracy of the questionnaires previous to exploring the causal relationship among the variables. The paper call for further research concerning other variables related to job satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to find out the impact of compensation to ward job performance the population of this study was PT.Federal Izumi manufacturing Jakarta. Meanwhile the sample was the staff of PT.Federal Izumi manufacturing with the number 110 staff. The sample was taken though Random Sampling. In analysing the data, then linear regression was used by using SPSS program. It was found that there was significant impact between direct compensation toward job performance which was shown by the significant value 0,003<0,05 and there was significant impact toward indirect compensation toward job performance was shown by the value 0,00 which is lower than 0,05. Mean while, to find out the impact of direct compensation and indirect compensation toward the job performance, multiple regression was used. Based on SPSS analysis, it was found there was significant correlation which was shown by the value F 0,00 which was lower than 0,005.

Abstract

This research focuses on the title of financial ratio analysis and Altman Z-Score disciminant approach to predict the level of PT Bumi Resources Tbk Bankruptcy. The aimof this research was to know to the financial performance of PT Bumi Resources Tbk on 2007-2011and to find out whether PT Bumi Resources Tbk included into the category of bankruptcy. This research using financial ratio wich consist of likuidity, profitability, solvability, activity and altman Z-Score discriminant approach.The results showed that by using financial ratios, PT Bumi Resources Tbk has weakness in the cash ratio which the amount of available cash is not sufficient to fulfill the companyy’s current liabilities. The analysis of net profit margin ratio does not indicate that the sales can produce a large amount of net profit for the company. PT Bumi Resources Tbk is not able to produce a rate return on investment and equity, it can be seen from the decrease of ROI and ROE. The dependence for the use of debt becomes bigger and makes overall solvency of company weak. The Altman Z-Score analysis shows that almost in every year the company in the position that has a great tendency on the verge of bankruptcy, but on 2009 the company has a tendency to go bankrupt immediately.Key word : financial ratio, bankruptcy, altman z-score

Abstract

This research aims to determine the positioning of Lotte Mart Wholesale Palembang compared to other competitor by analyzing the result of the questionary that is already been spread towards 100 people as the respondents. Techniques of analysis is using the qualitative and quantitative techniques including validity test, reliability test, frequencies test, descriptives test, crosstab test and then look for the perception maps through correspondence analysis using SPSS for Windows version 17.0. Based on the result of correspondence analysis, it shows two superiorities owned by Lotte Mart Wholesale Palembang which affected it’s strategy of positioning, those are the price of product and location of Lotte Mart itself. Hence, positioning strategy that can be done is positioning strategy based on image differentiation. Last but not least, in order to increasing performance and competitiveness of Lotte Mart Wholesale Palembang, researcher suggesting to maintain performance of price and location indicator, also to keep comunicating those superiorities to consumers. Afterward, there is necessary to increase performance of the most important indicators before consumers, such as product quality and servicing indicator.Keywords: Positioning, Map Perception and Wholesaler.

Abstract

The study objective was to determine the influence of product attributesand brand image of the Canon digital camera purchase decision, either partially or simultaneouslyThe method used in this research is as much as 77 census respondents. Analytical techniques used in this research is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative analysis.The results showed that the variable product attributes are most influentialon purchase decisions is variable product features. Product quality, product design and brand image does not significantly influence the purchase decision. Therefore, companies should be more active to maintain and create new innovations for its products.Keywords: product attributes, brand image, purchase decision
