Jurnal Al Bayan: Jurnal Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab published twice a year since 2010 (June and December). Since 2017 this journal began in the online, is a multilingual (Indonesia, Arabic, and English), peer-reviewed journal, and specializes in Arabic Education. This journal is published by the Arabic Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching, Raden Intan State Islamic University of Lampung. Editors welcome scholars, researchers and practitioners of Arabic Education to submit scholarly articles to be published through this journal. All articles will be reviewed by experts before accepted for publication. Each author is solely responsible for the content of published articles.

As an integral part of ilmu Maâani, istifhamis an important topic in Balaghoh. Istifham, according to âilmu Balaghah, has both maâana haqiqi (textual meaning) and maâna mazazi (contextual meaning). Maâana haqiqi (textual meaning) is real meaning as a sentence denotes; while maâana mazazi is a contextual meaning or hidden meaning based on the context of sentence. Listening competence is a kind of language competence and it is receptive in essence. Listening competence was firstly recognized officially as a main subject in foreign language teaching in 1970 and was begun by the birth of the theory of Total PsysicalResponse (TPS) of James Asher, The Natural Approach, and Silent Period. Learning strategy is an art of designing all learning activities in the classroom. Language learning strategy is teacherâs activities concerning his/her lesson plan; and listening learning strategy is an art of designing all learning activities in the classroom for improving studentsâ listening competence: studentsâ competences to re-inform their understanding through both speaking and writingâs competences. This article tries to elaborate several key issues about the definition of listening, its learning objectives and listening learning process, learning strategy and evaluation in the end of the class as well.

The study of text book or teaching material is aimed at describing the extent of its feasibility or correspondence to the studentsâ need. Focusing on the objectives of Arabic language learningâranging from its achieved language proficiency, subject feasibility, situation, context, and its sequences of learning process--this article tries to study the Arabic text book used by students of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung during their matriculation program. The result of this research shows that the used-Arabic text book is feasible as well as matches with the Arabic learning objective

إنالدلالةاللغويةهيالأهموالأوسعوالأكثرتعقيداوأنهاهيالموضوعالأساسيفيعلمالدلالةبالإضافةإلىالإشارةإلىأنواعالدلالاتالأخرى. ويمكنالقولبإيجازأناللغةأهمخصائصالإنسانالتيتميزهعنغيرهمنالمخلوقاتالحية.ثم من مبحث علم الدلالة تغير المعنى، لقدكان اهتمام علماء الدلالة بمسألة التطور الدلالي، منذ أوائل القرن التاسععشر، فبحثوا في هذاالمجال أسباب تغير الدلالة وأشكاله وصوره، وقد أدركوا أن التطور الدلالي،هو تغيير الألفاظ لمعانيها، ذلك أن الألفاظ ترتبط بدلالتها ضمن علاقةمتبادلة فيحدث التطور الدلالي كلما حدث تغير في هذه العلاقة، ولا يكونالتطور في مفهوم علم الدلالة في اتجاه متصاعد دائماً إنما قد يحدث وأنيضيف المعنى أو يخصص، كما يتسع أو يعمم، فيكون الانتقال من المعنى الضيقأو الخاص إلى المعنى الاتساعي أو العام وقد يحدث العكس، ولذلك يفضل بعضعلماء اللغة المحدثين مصطلح تغير المعنى عوض مصطلح التطور الدلالي
