Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komputer yang pesat memungkinkan produk program komputer dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah VCD pembelajaran. VCD dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran sehingga menjadi lebih nyata dan lebih mudah dipahami. Penggunaan media ini dapat membawa siswa lebih aktif dan termotivasi dalam proses pembelajarannya, sehingga hasil belajarnya pun akan meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan media VCD dalam upaya peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis, angket, observasi, wawancara. Analisis yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen, yaitu pre-experimental one-group pretest-postest design. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah bahwa dengan menggunakan media VCD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa. Kata kunci: Peningkatan Hasil Belajar, Motivasi, Media VCD IPS

Abstract

One of abstract mathematical and material related to everyday life is the determination of the KPK and the FPB. Based on observations in class V SDN Pagentan 2 shows that the students of class V SDN Pagentan 2 are less able to understand the concept of the KPK and the FPB. Students still confuse way in determining the KPK and the FPB. Students also have not been able to understand the concept of the KPK and the FPB properly so it can not resolve the issue properly. The determination of the KPK and the FPB with swales technique is one proposed solution to improve the learning process of the KPK and the FPB in class V SDN Pagentan 2 Singosari.This study uses a Class Action Research (CAR), which uses two cycles. Each cycle has stages namely planning (plan), action (action), observation (observation) and reflection (reflection). Subjects of the study were students of class V SDN Pagentan 2 Singosari totaling 32 students. The research instrument used is the syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets swales techniques, as well as formative test material KPK and FPB. Data were analyzed using the results of tests and observation. Mechanical swales in groups can help students of class V SDN Pagentan 2 in improving students' understanding of the concept of the KPK and the FPB material. The average value of understanding the concept of the cycle of 62.80 with 56.25% classical completeness. While the average value of understanding the concept in cycle two of 86.56 with classical completeness of 87.5%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in class IIB second semester at MIN Pembantanan, Sungai Tabuk, Banjar Regency. It is for Learning science using active learning model with card sort type. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Classroom action research study was conducted in two cycles. At each cycle of the first cycle and the second cycle consists of two meetings with the allocation of time on each cycle of 2x35 minutes. This research subject is class IIB MIN Pembantanan, Sungai Tabuk, Banjar Regency, second semester of academic year 2013/2014, the number of students as many as 18 people with 10 men and 8 women. Collecting data in this study were obtained through observation and written tests, while data analysis technique used is the average and percentage. Results of this study was obtained (1) Activities of teachers in the implementation of learning with the learning strategy card sort in science on material “energy sources” in Class IIB MIN Pembantanan, Sungai Tabuk, Banjar district is well and maximum. The quality of learning is increasing based on teacher’s activity in in teaching process; it increased with the percentage of 75% to 95.8%. Overall average percentage of the learning process of teachers included in both categories at all; (2) Activity of students in the percentage increased from 68% to 92%; (3) The results of student learning increased with the implementation of learning strategy card sort on material “energy source”, it is seen from the test results of students in the first cycle of the average value of 67.7 in the first meeting and the second meeting of the 90, then in the second cycle at the first meeting 78.8 and  in the second meeting 90.5 or 91. Thus it can be said to be successful because of the results achieved already meet the target of completeness in learning which mastery learning value of 60.00

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the application of Cooperative Time Token Arends learning model to increase learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Tunjungtirto 02, Singosari. This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) with 2 (two) cycles. The subjects of this study were 16 students of grade IV SDN Tunjungtirto 02 Singosari. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The technique to analyze the data used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis technique. The results show that learning by applying the Time Token Arends Cooperative model on the subject of globalization can increase learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes also experienced an average increase from cycle I (72.12) to cycle II (76.9). Classical mastery increased by 12.5% from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam membaca nyaring didepan kelas, dikarenakan sebagian malu dan sebagian lainnya kurang lancar membaca, betapa pentingnya membaca ini, maka sangatlah penting bagi guru/peneliti melakukan tindakan kelas agar kekurangan tersebut dapat di hilangkan dan dikurangi.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dengan menggunakan metode cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca nyaring peserta didik kelas 1 MIN 9 Banjar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dan pendekatannya menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas 1 MIN 9 Banjar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah setelah data terkumpul dan diolah, selanjutnya disajikan secara deskriptif naratif dalam bentuk uraian–uraian, sehingga dapat menggambarkan permasalahan–permasalahan yang diteliti secara lengkap. Setelah itu dilakukan analisis data menggunakan teknik kualitatif berupa editing, klasifikasi dan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode induktif. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran mengguanakan metode membaca cerita bergambar dapat dengan mudah dilaksanakan oleh peserta didik dan peserta didik sangat antusias melakukan pembelajaran, terpacu semangatnya bagi yang malu maju kedepan dan juga terbantu dengan media gambar bagi yang kurang lancar membaca.

Abstract

Minimum Service Standards (Standar Pelayanan Minimal /SPM) is a measure of the performance of basic education services through formal education organized by District / City Government. SPM aims to create equitable quality of education, contains minimum provisions on what should be available and what should happen in the schools. SPM achievement study was conducted at 5 State Islamic Primary Schools in Banjarmasin. There are 2 formulations of research problems: 1) How is the SPM achievement of State Islamic Primary School / MIN  in Banjarmasin in 2014 which is obligation for Banjarmasin government so far?; and 2) How is the SPM achievement of state Islamic primary school / MIN  in Banjarmasin in 2014 which is an obligation for the education unit so far? This study is the evaluation, because the activities carried out are to compare the activities of a fact with the standards set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 23 Year 2013. The results showed the average achievement of SPM at MIN in Banjarmasin 2014 which is the obligation of the government of Banjarmasin (MORA)  is at 84% and 16% of SPM is not yet achieved. While the average achievement of SPM at MIN in Banjarmasin 2014 which is an obligation for the education unit (MIN) is  at 76% and 24% SPM unmet.

Abstract

Left-right run and true-false strategy is the activity hearing a true statement then run to the right and when hearing a false statement then run to the left. The learning outcome is the ability the student receives after learning activities. The english language learning  was about my body's material for IV  grade. This research aims to know the result of student learning by using Left-right run and true-false strategy on learning English and to know if there is a significant influence to student learning outcome by using Left-right run and true-false strategy. This research is field research by using experimental method. The sample in this research is the fourth graders of MIN Managers in Banjarmasin. IV  grade students A are as experimental classes (using Left-right run and true-false strategy) and fourth-grade students B are as control class (using index card match strategy). The material taught is my body material. The result of the research shows that the use of Left-right run and true-false strategy can improve the students' learning outcomes in fourth grade English learning at MIN Pemurus Dalam in Banjarmasin. It is based on the analysis of student learning outcomes of experimental and control class. Experimental results of experimental class students are better than the results of the control class students. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental group students at 87.82 whereas the average grade of the control class students is 64.09. Based on average posttest results, the difference is 23.73. Left-right run and true-false strategy has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in fourth grade English learning at MIN Pemurus Dalam in Banjarmasin. This is based on a different test that states Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

In teaching writing, contextual learning means learning to unleash the full potential of a student naturally. Students are given the opportunity to apply and develop ideas critically and communicative in the form of written language which can be meaningful for themselves and for those who read it. This thesis aims are: 1) To know the differences in the learning result of Indonesian subject in poetry writing material among the students who learn with contextual approach and the students who learn with conventional approach, and 2) To know the effectiveness of using contextual approach in improving the learning result of Indonesian subject on poetry writing material. This research used a quasi-experimental design. The subject was the fifth grade students of MIN Selat Hulu Kapuas academic year 2012/2013. Class Va as experimental group and class Vb as control group. The taught material is writing poetry. The first data of students’ ability is taken from pretest result, while the posttest result is used as research data. The results showed that there are significant differences between the students’ learning results of Indonesian subject in experimental group with control group. If seen from the average value of the posttest, the results of learning in the experimental group (75.87) is higher than the average value of the control group (68.13). This difference was also confirmed by the results of the calculations of Independent-sample T-Test which significance value is smaller than the sig. = 0.05 which is equal to 0.002. This showed that the use of the contextual approach can improve students’ learning result. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test calculations showed that the average value of g factor in the experimental group showed 0.49 points. This means, the use of a contextual approach in Indonesian subjects is quite effective in improving student learning result in the subject matter writing poetry.

Abstract

Tulisan ini adalah sebuah kajian analitis terhadap aliran pemikiran filsafat pendidikan pragmatisme.Analisis tersebut digunakan untuk melakukan tinjauan kritis atas konsep dan pelaksanaan UjianNasional dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia. Jenis kajian ini adalah kajian pustaka denganmenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun metode analisis yang dipakai adalahhermeneutika dan interpreteasi sebagai metode yang menekankan pada perumusan makna. Hasilkajian ini menyatakan bahwa filsafat pendidikan pragmatisme adalah konsep pendidikan yangdidasarkan pada pengakuan akan perubahan, proses, relativitas dan rekonstruksi pengalaman pesertadidik sebagai manusia. Dalam tinjauan filsafat pendidikan pragmatisme, sistem Ujian Nasional perludikaji ulang sebab pelaksanaan Ujian Nasional tidak menjamin para peserta didik untuk menempatkanpengetahuannya dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapinya. Pendidikan pragmatisme jugamemandang evaluasi belajar bukan hanya diperoleh melalui sistem Ujian Nasional yang dominanmenilai aspek kognitif saja. Paradigma pendidikan pragmatisme melihat sistem Ujian Nasional kurangtepat untuk diterapakan dalam sistem evaluasi pendidikan di Indonesia karena hanya melibatkan sisiformalitas pendidikan belaka, tidak menyentuh hasil penilaian yang lebih bermakna sepertipengalaman dan keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah.

Abstract

Their speaking ability by using conversational techniques arevery important and far-reaching. This is shown by the results of the acquisition of scores of observations made respondents, who answered "always" in 15 questions with a score of 869.68 tally with an average of 57.98 %, a score answered "sometimes" in the amount of 630, 32 with an average of 42.02 %, while the answer is not in the amount of 0 with an average of 0 % or no answer . If the comparison between the scores three alternative answers of "yes" has the greatest score, so it can be concluded that the conversation technique can improve their speaking ability in communicating his love to the category quite well. Increasing students' speaking ability in telling the student craze is influenced by several factors, among others, is the way of pronunciation tones and how to communicate.
