The fishing sector is divided into two types based on general waters there are fisheries pond, outdoor and marine fisheries and aquaculture. Marine fisheries and aquaculture subsector includes all activities of arrests, seeding and cultivation of all types of salt water fish and other biota. Marine fisheries and cultivation of natural resources including renewable but also potentially depletd because every system environment there is a threshold population size. If the size of a population or stock falls below this limit, then population will perish. Marine fisheries and aquaculture is resource that move and movement is strongly influenced by the physical waters (currents and temperature), lead to this resource in the management strongly depends on the time and season, therefore it is not predictable like other resources. The data used in this study is secondary data coming from various sources, among others the fisheries agency and maritime Province of Riau, the central bureau of statistics of the Province of Riau, that explaines the interconnectedness of marine cultivation and fisheries with the absorption of labour, exports and contributed to the gross regional domestic revenue is seen from time to the time (time series). The result of the study explained that the role of marine fisheries and aquaculture subsector in terms of employment , exports and contribution to regional gross domestic income is relatively small, becaused the marine fisheries and aquaculture is only subsector of fisheries and of course it’s small scope and limited. In addition there are several factors that hinder the development of marine fisheries and aquaculture subsector include economy problems such as difficulty in fuel, global crisis. Besides the weather and pollution issues are also thing that hinder the development of marine fisheries and aquaculture itself.Keywords : Role, Marine Fisheries and Aquaculture Subsector

This study aims to analyze the Pension Credit Demand in BTPN held in Pekanbaru of Riau Province. The population in this study is the Bank Pekanbaru City Bank customers who make pension credit loan people amounted to 1,688 customers, samples are taken using Slovin formula with the results of the sample amounted to 95 customers. Data analysis techniques in this study by using Quantitative Descriptive Method models performed in this study is the Multiple Linear Regression there are some tests performed in this study: Classical Test Assumptions, Multicollinearity Test, Test heterocedastity, autocorrelation test, Normality Test, Test of Significance, Test t Test, F-acquired research F.Hasil count (58,059)> F table (3,095) and sugnifikansi (0,000) <0.05 means that the income and interest rates positive effect on the demand for pension credit BTPN Pekanbaru. While known t count of -1.718 with a significance of 0.089. Thus t (-1.718) <t table (1.986) and significant (0.089)> 0.05 means that the interest rate does not affect the demand for credit. Based on observations made observations most consumers just do not know how much the interest rate offered by the Bank and the Bank Pekanbaru they do not want to know the amount of mortgage interest rates being offered, this is because not all serve Bank of pension credit, which has only BTPN services Retirement credit.Keywords: Demand for Loans, Income, Interest Rates, Pension Credit

The purpose of this research is to know the amount of the costs, revenues and earnings (profits) received by cattle farmers in the village of Lubuk Tilan Subdistrict Dayun Siak Regency. By using several theory production then variable observed is capital and production cost of Fixed Cost and Variable Cost.The determination of the location of the research is determined by purposive sampling, with consideration at this location many of the people who have jobs or work sideline raising beef cattle originating from the Siak Regency Government help with shifts and gaduhan. This study uses census techniques with the respondent as much as 33 people. Respondents were grouped into two groups, namely the groups I and II in accordance with the number of livestock ownership. A data analysis method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data retrieval is done by means of observation, interview and by using a list of questionsThe results showed that the average costs, revenues and earnings (profits) dairy farmer in the village of Lubuk Tilan Subdistrict Dayun Siak Regency in the group I is Rp. 12.577.160 and group II amounted to Rp. 17.164.188. The average revenue earned group I amounting to Rp. 114.800.000 and group II amounted to Rp. 175.125.000 so each group earn income or profit of Rp 102.222.840 and Rp 163.053.357.Keywords: Cattle Farmers, Costs, Income.

This study aims to determine the cause of working for the long seek graduate of the University of Riau. Data were drawn from this study obtained at Riau University Academic Section from 2008 to 2012. Research uses descriptive research method derived from the questionnaire given to the students graduate of the University of Riau. From the data obtained and questionnaires that the desire of a person with a high wage to be able to meet the needs of the higher life. Generally, a person willing to spend a long time to have a job with great pay. And also with the job information available in print and online can give someone the opportunity to work even greater. Poverty is a complex and complicated issues that require analysis in order to obtain a solution to overcome poverty or at least reduce poverty. This study aimed to examine the effect of the unemployment rate and the level of the minimum wage on poverty levels in Riau province. This research uses secondary data. Analysis of the data in this study using a multiple linear regression method. Hypothesis testing using partial test (t test), simultaneous (F test), Test Correlation Coefficient (R) and test the coefficient of determination (R2). The data used in this study are data on the number of poor people, the number of unemployed and the level of the minimum wage in the province of Riau Province in 2002-2011. The results of the testing that has been done, the entire regression test showed that all independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable. Individual regression test showed that the number of open unemployment has no significant effect on the number of poor people in Riau province, but the provincial minimum wage have a significant effect on the number of poor people of Riau Province. The magnitude of the effect caused by the two independent variables together on the dependent variable of 92.1%, while the remaining 8.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Poverty, Unemployment, Province Minimum Wage.

The aim of this study include: provide an overview of inventory and laborrequirements as well as provide an overview of the economic opportunitiesavailable as the foundation to move development of strategic sectors.Research carried out in the region Indragiri Hilir. Analysis of the presentcondition and future employment through employment elasticity analysis methods. For the data used in the context of this study is data from BPS.Results of research conducted showed that the economy Indragiri Hilir in2012 grew by 7.47% and employment growth of 4.14%, with elasticity of 0.54. So that the number of job opportunities in the year 2012 as many as 304 792 people. While economic forecasts Indragiri Hilir in 2015 grew by 7.72% and employment growth of 4.87%, with employment elasticity of 0.5363. Estimated GDP at constant 2000 prices Indragiri Downstream of Rp. 10012.91 billion and employment opportunities created as many as 342 002 people.Keywords: Labor, employment opportunities

Inflation is a process of rising prices in general and continuous with regard to market mechanisms induced by different factor,among other things, incrased community consumption, excess liquidity in the market that fueled the consumption or even speculation and the distribution of goods that are not fluently. In other words, inflation is also the currency values serially.Inflation is a process, not an event of high or low price levels. This means that the price level is considered high is not necessarily indicate inflation. The data used in this research is the use of secondary data which come from Bank of Indonesia, BPS, and Finance of Indonesia. The data are obtained the quarterly reports and the annual report. The research results are either quarterly or annually, inflation increases occurred at a quarterly-III every year due to the quarter to concide with Ramadhan and Eidul-Fitri.The inflation hike was mostly experienced by volatile food group. Rising inflation also accompanied the influx of new education school year due to soaring prices for all school levels. And inflation rise on quarter-III this also happens annually in every province, Riau, West Sumatera,North Sumatera dan Jambi.Keywords: Inflation

Riau economic growth rate may be an indicator of the increasing level of economic development, which in turn will increase the level of social welfare. One characteristic of the increasing development is increasingly unequal distribution level. However, it appears that the more unequal distribution of income levels, whereas the level of income distribution is needed to support the sustainability of economic growth. Therefore, this study aims to describe the general level of economic growth, the level of income distribution among the public, as well as the relationshipbetween multiple levels of economic growth on income distribution in the province of Riau. To achieve the first objective used descriptive and analytical tools used for both purposes of data analysis tools panel fixed effect model using STATA 9. From the analysis shows economic growth still high despite a slowdown, the economic structure changes from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary sectors. The bigger income inequality in Riau Province which is characterized by Gini ratio in 2012, which reached 0:40. From the regression results shown that significant economic growth effect on income inequality. . The higher rate of economic growth, the higher the level of inequality of income communities in Riau province, although in a lower category. Economic growth has a considerable influence on the increase in the Gini ratio Riau Province, it is seen from the value of the elasticity of 0.882666, meaning that a 1 percent change in economic growth would raise the Gini ratio of 0.882666 percent.Keywords: economic growth, income distribution, panel data

This research was conducted in the Kepau Jaya of village Siak Hulu subdistrict Kampar district . The purpose of this study was to determine the development of leaf thatched roof cottage industries in the village Kepau Jaya of Siak Hulu subdistrict Kampar district. In this study sample using simple random sampling, with a total sample of 43 respondents. This study uses primary and secondary data. Technique data collecting qualitative data by the method of observation, questionnaire , and interviews. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis. This study shows that, sago palm leaf roof cottage industries included in the home industries, handicrafts leaf thatched roof is a roof made of sago palm leaves that are woven by the women in Village Kepau Jaya. raw material in producing leaf roof is sago palm leaves, bamboo, and rattan. The process of producing sago palm leaf roofs are not wearing labor, using only family labor (Family Workers). Capital expended in producing sago palm leaf roofs around Rp 35.000 - Rp 40.000. Craftsmen could produce sago palm leaf roof of 200-250 pieces to order, the selling price of Rp 140.000 sago palm leaf roof - Rp 150.000/100, and Rp 1.400/lembar, the demand for leaf thatched roofs are still much in demand by enthusiasts, inhibiting factors in producing leaf roof thatch is damaged road infrastructure, season and health craftsmen.Keywords: leaf thatched roof cottage industries, small industries, potential raw material, inhibiting factors.
