Abstract

This research was conducted in Rokan Hilir. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact or effect of overfishing on the income before and after the occurrence of Overfishing. The research area and the sample set purposively determined based on random sampling. Expectations of authors, this study may add insight and knowledge, especially field of research, and is expected to be a reference material as well as information for other writers who would like to study it more in the same research in the future. From the research it can be seen that by using non-parametric statistical test, sign test can be concluded that the income of fishermen overfishing decreased after the calculation Zhit <Ztab (-9.19 <1.64). thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, then the results showed that the income received by fishermen after overfishing has decreased.Keywords:overfishing, income

Abstract

This study to analize the factors that affect the quality of human resourcesin Siak District, which of life expectancy, literacy rates, average length of school and average real per capita output adjusted. Analysis of the data used is quantitative method with SPSS (Statistical Package of Social Science) version 21.00. The results os test performed using multiple linear regression analysis, it is known that adjusted 100%. This shows all four independent variables influence on the quality of human resources in Siak District. Simultaneous regression test showed that all independent variables in the examined had a significant effect on the quality of human resources in Siak District. The results of the testing partial regression (t-test) showing that variable of life expectancy, literacy rates, average length of school and average real per capita output adjusted significant effect the human development index. Variables that influence the quality of human resources in Siak District is an average of the real per capita output in adjusted.Keywords : human development index.

Abstract

Abstract

This research was conducted in the city of Dumai. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence consumer demand for edible oil in Dumai. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data with the data analisisis method is descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. As for the population in this research is that households residing in the city of Dumai by taking two districts in the city dumai where the number of samples taken was 100 respondents using Slovin formula. From the research that has been conducted, the simultaneous regression test (F test) showed that income, household size, and price simultaneously significant effect on the demand for edible oil in Dumai. Partial regression test (t test) showed that the investment variables have the most significant effect on the demand for edible oil in Dumai is income. The magnitude of the effect that (R2) of 0.286 whice means that consumer demand for edible oils as the dependent variable able to be explained by the independent variables are income, number of household members, and the price was 28.6% and the rest is explained by variables - variables others outside the model.Keywords: Demand, income, population, and price

Abstract

The research was motivated by the above phenomenon proves that television still dominates share of advertising in Indonesia is a television advertising media advertising mass media that can be accessed easily than other advertising media. The study aims to find out: 1) Effectiveness of Television Advertising Telkomsel U.S. Prepaid Cards by Using Method of Consumer Attitudes Toward EPIC Model in Pekanbaru city, 2) the effect on consumer attitude EPIC Model in Pekanbaru city in the U.S. using a Vodacom prepaid card, 3) Which variables of the EPIC model which has a dominant influence on consumer attitudes in the U.S. using Vodacom prepaid card in Pekanbaru city. The study site user community cards are there in the U.S. telkomsel Pekanbaru. The reason for choosing these objects because Pekanbaru many people use the prepaid card. The population in this study is a free consumer that is in Pekanbaru are using Vodacom prepaid cards in the U.S., amounting to 245 091 Pekanbaru. Based on the above calculation, the sample in this study was 99.959 in the round it off to 100 respondents AS Telkomsel prepaid card users. The results of the research model and hypothesis testing in this study on the effectiveness of television advertising AS Telkomsel prepaid card by using models of epic on consumer attitudes in the city of Pekanbaru to the conclusion: 1) Based on the statistical significance value of the F-test probability of 2.530 and the level of significantly by 0045. It can be concluded that the variable empathy, persuasion, impact, communication, can affect people's attitudes (y). 2) Based on the calculation, the value of coefficient of determination (R2) indicates if the overall effect of the 100% 0:58% in this study could be explained by the attitude variables empathy, persuasion, impact, communication. 3) Empathy, persuasion, impact, communication together have a strong influence on the attitude of the community. Based on the value of t statistics Empathy (x1) of 1,993 in this case t-count is greater than t-table 1.98. These results suggest that empathy (X1) affect people's attitudes are demoninan.Keywords: Empathy, persuasion, impact, communication, attitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically study effect of CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), NPL (Non Performing Loan), NPM (Net Profit Margin), ROA (Return On Asset), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio)to the financial performance of banks on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research was conducted with a popolatian 21 and purposive sampling method against 16 banking companises in the indonesia stock exchange in the period 2007-2011. Analysis on the data obtained in the form quantitative analysis. Methode in this study using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study showed that NPL variable, NPM, ROA affect the financial performance of banks is measured by profit growth, while the CAR and LDR doesn’t affect the bsnk’s financial performance is measured by profit growth.Keywords: profit growth, CAR, NPL, NPM, ROA, LDR

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the overall assessment of visitors to the Dharma Wanita garden of Pekanbaru City and also to find out, as well as to determine the demand for economical value or level visits with Contingent Valuation method. Total population used as samples in this study were 100 people. The method used in this study is accidental sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive method using Valuatian Contingent approach. From the results of this study concluded that the general assessment visitors against Dharma Wanita garden of Pekanbaru City is pretty good. It can be found that most of the visitor answers by 37%. Majority of visitors came from the city of Pekanbaru. Economical value and the level of demand or visitation level of Dharma Wanita garden of Pekanbaru city with Contingent Valuation Method, that can be found from total income of WTP’s visitors to the City of Rp.383.750 per day and the amount will increase on holidays.Keywords: Economic Values and Contingent Valuation Methods

Abstract

This research was conducted in the city dumai since november 2013. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of small loans to the improvement of UMKM in Dumai City, Riau Province. Data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through interviews, observation and dissemination kuistioner to a population of 1652 with a sample of 43 clients. while the secondary data obtained from the appropriate agencies. methods of data analysis in this study using a non-parametric analysis techniques / free distribution. The analysis is wilcoxom test pairs test and Z test From the analysis we found that, the value of Zcalculate <- Ztable is (-5,713 > -1,96), then H0 is rejected. this shows that financing small loans at PT. Bank BRI branch dumai very effective in supporting the improvement of UMKM in the Dumai City.Keywords : Small Loans (KUR), micro, small and medium businesses (UMKM).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of auditors knowledge on the audit judgement with the complexity of the task and independency as a moderating variable. The population of this study were auditors who worked in Public Accountant Office in Sumatera region. This study used purposive sampling method and used SPSS 20 software to analize the data. The results prove that knowledge of auditor affect the audit judgement. This study also found that the interaction between complexity of the task and knowledge and the interaction between independency and knowledge have an effect on the auditor's judgment. The magnitude of the effect (R2) of the auditor knowledge, complexity of the task and independency on the audit judgement was 77%. While the remaining 23% is influenced by other variables.Keywords: auditor’s knowledge, complexity of the task, independency, audit judgement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out whether there is or not influence of tax revenue for 5 Dominant KLU’s in Pekanbaru Middle Tax Office (KPP Madya Pekanbaru). This research only focuses on extra-efforts in the tax collection activity, including Advise Letters, Comprehensive Tax Audits, and Collection Activity for Tax Assessment Letters. Thus, tax Revenuefor 5 Dominant Classificatons by Business (KLU’s)that examined, emphasized on the Percentage. Samples that are used in this study is devoted only to the data time series, in the period of 2009 to 2012. By using statistical technique, this research uses multiple linear regression analysis method to answer the hypothesis. Tests carried out simultaneously (F-test) and partially (statistical t-test) with degree of significance (α) = 5%. Analiyzing data use statistical data processing softwares. These result indicate that extra-effort activity, including Advise Letters, Comprehensive Tax Audits, and Collection Activity for Tax Assessment Lettersare significantly affect the percentage of tax Revenuefor 5 Dominant Classification by Business(KLU’s)simultaneously. But, only Collection Activity for Tax Assessment Lettersdoes not affect partially, while two other variables does (Advise Letters, Comprehensive Tax Audits).Keywords : Advise Letters, ComprehensiveTax Audits,Collection Activity for Tax Assessment Letters,Tax Collection Activity, Classification by Business,Tax Revenue of 5 Dominant Classification by Business (KLU’s).
