Abstract

The study aims to analyze the perception of the batik craftmen  toward self-help groupsthat had been advocated for development and strengthening the center of the batik industry in Tuban District.This study is a descriptive research. The respondents were determined by snowball sampling method consisting of 84 batik craftmen  in the batik industry.  Both qualitative and quantitative research approaches were used  in this study. Aside from the secondary data, the primary data was collected by ethnographic (unstructured and semi-structured interviews, and direct observation) and participatory methods (key informant interviews).The result  of the study shows  that  the perception of the batik craftmen toward the contribution of self-help groups  for development and strengthening the center of the batik industry in  Tuban District  is categorized “moderate”.  Therefore, improvement in the aspects of  raw materials supply, technology applied, and business management in  the  business performance  of batik  industries  are still needed.

Abstract

Businnes of production Rahayu is a tile-making business is kind of small press located in the Tabanan  Regency, Bali. In conducting the business of production Rahayu tiles using simple tools and production quantities depending on the season (dry season and rainy) so that profit is not the same in each season. To determine the performance of the tiles Enterprises Rahayu, the study will analyze the level of Break Even Point (the breakeven point),  Shut Down point (point-of-business), and the level of benefits to the individual - each season.  This research method to analyze the breakeven point, point-of-business, and business profitability Tile Rahayu mathematically using production data from 2010 to 2012. The results obtained are the BEP analysis, business break even lower during the rainy season than during the dry season. This is because the selling price higher during the rainy season than during the dry season.  Judging from the SDP analysis, point-of-business is much lower than the breakeven point in any season. This is due to fixed costs in cash on SDP analysis is much smaller than the total fixed cost of the BEP analysis. If the views of each season, the SDP during the rainy season is less than during the dry season due to monsoon selling price is higher than during the dry season. Judging from the level of profits, the two seasons (wet and dry) Tile Enterprises Rahayu produce nearly the same amount of profit, but profit is higher during the rainy season than during the dry season.  This is due to the selling price higher during the rainy season so that revenue also grew, as well as variable costs during the rainy season due to lower production numbers lower than the dry season, thereby reducing production costs.

Abstract

Company tax subjects are taxed on their income and have to pay to the Tax Office (Kantor Kas Negara) baed on the tax regulation. Some companies would consider corporate income tax as a burden so that they would try to pay their tax as minimum as possible as long as allowed by law and tax regulation. Therefor, companies making tax planning as a starting point in tax management. One of method in corporate income tax planning article 21 is the gross up method. By this method, income tax article 21 paid by the permanent employees will be the same amount as the tax allowance given by the employer. This tax Allowance could be considered as a company's expense that could be deducted from the company's net income and at the end it will reduce the corporate income tax paid by the company.

Abstract

The lndonesian Railway Transportation Company (PT KA\ is one of the statecompanies which is engaged in transporlation mode, ln order to meet the needs ofconsumers, the company considers several factors that cause consumers interest in usingthe railway as a means of transportation facilities.Ihe purposes of this research are: a). To determine the effect of simultaneously orpartially independent factors such as the safety and security (x1), the convenience (x2),the ticket prices (x3), the railway station area (x4) and the timeliness (x5) on consumersbehavior in using this mode of transpoftation (Y) in Jember, b). To find the dominant,independent factors that influence consumers behavior in the use of this mode oftransportation (Y) in Jember.Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the simultaneous independent factors ofsafety and the security factors (x1), the convenience factors (x2), ticket prices factors (x3),the railway station area factors (x4) and the timeliness factors (x5) have the significanteffects on the dependent variable (Y) for the consumers behavior in using of the railwaytransporlation as their mode However. partially, independent factors of safety andsecurrty (x1), the convenience (x2), the ticket price (x3). the railway station area (x4)influence significantly to the consumers behavior while the trneltness factor (x5) has nosi gnific ant infl u ences./t ls suggesfed that The lndonesian Railway Transpoftation Company (Pf KN).especially the Operation Area lX ( DAOP lX) of Distrtct Jember pay more attentton andincrease the return on some of the factors that infltience corsr/,?ers behavior a-s weil asconsider other factors in addition to the above factors that also influence colrsu,r?ershehavior.

Abstract

Science and technology for the Community (Iptek bagi Masyarakat/IbM) can be used as a vehicle in community service activities to actively improve the efficiency and productivity of businesses partners, and is the  application of science and technology by implementing and lecturers can provide experiences for students that entrepreneurship has the insight and knowledge in order to foster the entrepreneurial spirit. Implementation of the activities carried out through the joint  identification of  problems  between  partners,  implementing  faculty  and students. Based on the problems identified priority considering it is made in time and cost. The conclusion that can be drawn  from  the implementation of  IBM, is the presence  of unresolved  issues  due to time constraints  and  the  cost  of production  lay out,  while've  accomplished is  making  catfish  feed  (pellets), diversification of processed catfish (shredded, chips, nuggets), support tools (tool maker  catfish  feed  /  pellets,  presto,  pans,  pots,  tools  shredded  pres,  pres  plastic tool, blender), catfish care, and managerial aspects. The need for these activities to be continued in order to provide more benefits for partners mainly because, the desire to continue this activity is the input from partners and as also suggested by the reviewer as business partners to conduct monitoring in Jember.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) to determine the effect of service, price, and quality of womenswear products  simultaneously to consumers to buy.  (2)  to determine the effect of  the service,  price,  and  quality  of  womenswear  products  partially on consumers to buy. Sampling technique are used snowball sampling. Total sample were  60  respondents who  transact  womenswear  products  through  BlackBerry Messenger  (BBM). The analysis used multiple regression.   The results showed: (1)  service,  price,  and  quality  of  womenswear  sold online  through  Blackberry messenger group simultaneously significantly affect consumer buying interest. (2) Partially, only price variable that significantly influence the consumers to buy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of commodity and  planting patterns that can provide the maximum benefit to the farmers. Determination ofcommodities using the Location Quotient while typing planting patterns using linear programming and sensitivity analysis . The results showed that the planting patterns: paddy-horticulture-horticulture conducted in District of Ajung, Jombang, Kencong, Ledokombo, Panti, Patrang, Rambipuji, Semboro, Sumberbaru, and Tempurejo; paddy-horticulture-“palawija” planting pattern conducted in the district of Mayang, Mumbulsari, and Silo; paddy-tobacco na oogst-horticulture planting pattern conducted in District of Ambulu, Balung, Jenggawah, Kaliwates,Puger, Sumbersari, Tanggul, Umbulsari, and Wuluhan; paddy-tobacco na oogst-“palawija” done in District Jelbuk; paddy-tobacco kasturi-horticulture conducted in District of Arjasa, Bangsalsari, Kalisat, Pakusari, Sukorambi, and Sukowono;paddy-tobacco kasturi-“palawija” done in District of Sumberjambe, and planting pattern: paddy-“palawija”-“palawija” should be done in the District of Gumukmas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dampak : Customer Relationship Management (CRM) terhadap Kepuasan, CRM terhadap Loyalitas, dan Kepuasan terhadap Loyalitas pendengar radio swasta di kota Jember. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang mencerminkan persepsi dan harapan pendengar radio swasta di kota Jember terhadap CRM yang diterapkan serta kepuasan dan loyalitas yang diterima dari radio swasta di kota Jember. CRM yang diteliti meliputi karyawan, acara, teknologi, kepercayaan, dan komunikasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah para pendengar radio swasta di Kota Jember. Metode sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 120 responden. Model analisis data menggunakan struktural equation modelling (SEM). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa CRM berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan, CRM berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap loyalitas, dan kepuasan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap loyalitas pendengar radio swasta di kota Jember.

Abstract

This research was intendend to identify the income of entrepreneurs of soybean-madetempe, analyze the feasibility of business development, calculate the efficiency ofproduction cost and agribusiness development strategy of soybean-made tempe homeindustries. The research was conducted in four villages, namely: Pagah, Tegalboto,Tegalbesar, Kaliputih, Jember Regency.The data used were primary data obtained from entrepreneur respandents and secondarydata from related agencies, the analyses used were income analysis, NPV (Net PresentValue) method, B/C Ratio method. IRR (lnternal Rate of Return), SYVOI (Strengfhs,Weaknesses, Opporlunity, Threat) analysis. The result showed that the income analysis ofsmall-scale buslness resulted higher value than that of large sca/e business, sensifivifyanalysis showed that the increasing prices of raw materids of soybean of small scalebusiness affected the decrease of soybean-made tempe sales.

Abstract

There are seventeen commercial banks that operate at Jember, they have similar services products but the  different between them is the interest rate and their to the costomers, so that competation among banks to be highly competitive. This research at PT. Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN), Tbk than have specific market segments as compared to other banks. The independent variables in this research are interest rate (X1), promotion (X2), product (X3), eference group (X4) and location (X5) and the dependent variable is number of clients who invest  at limited deposits.  The purpose of this research are to know which of independent variables that influce the dependent variable and to know which of independent variables most dominant to dependent variable and interest rate is the most dominant variable in this research.  Finally, the conclution that we can suggest are the main priority about policy interest rate and the other variables most improve their performance because they have positive correlation.
