Abstract

Abstract. Agricultural development in dry land has constraints on water availability, especially in the dry season. Another problem is the limited mastery of technology that supports the increase and sustainability of agricultural production. Sinarancang Village, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency, which is a village with the most dominant potential for the agricultural sector, relies on rain-fed agricultural irrigation systems. In the dry season, a water pump is a basic need of farmers. The pump uses diesel which uses fuel to be turned on. Therefore, community empowerment activities with SI PITEM (Solar Energy Irrigation System) Technology Applications were carried out. The purpose of the activity is to increase the productivity of partners to be more effective and efficient with SI PITEM technology in the production of agricultural products. The method of activity is the socialization and application of SI PITEM technology in the irrigation system. The result of the activity is that the application of SI PITEM technology can be used for irrigation systems for agricultural land during the dry season effectively because electricity comes from solar panels.

Abstract

Abstract. IoT (Internet of Things) technology is currently experiencing very rapid development. Several innovative and creative applications, most IoT-based, have been found. IoT underlies the existence of smart home technology. One of the advantages of smart home technology is that homeowners can control conditions and monitor home security using only one device. Unfortunately, at SMKs Darul Ulum Layoa, Bantaeng, Sulawesi Selatan (South Sulawesi), learning about IoT still needs to be improved. It becomes the basis for why we hold a community service activity. This activity provided understanding and training on the Internet of Things, which 40 teachers and students attended. Pretest and posttest methods are used to determine the activity's success level. Both results were processed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) method. SPSS is a statistical software used to perform data analysis, including descriptive and inferential analysis. By utilizing the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, an analysis of the data revealed a Z value of -5.026 and a p-value of 0.000. These findings indicate a significant difference between the pretest and posttest groups or a significant increase in scores between the pretest and posttest. Therefore, the intervention had a positive effect on the outcome being measured.

Abstract

Abstract. Rats are the main agricultural pests and one of the factors causing crop failure for farmers, especially in Pademawu. Farmers generally use pest control methods using poisons that can pollute the agricultural environment. The application of the Trap Barrier System (TBS) is needed to overcome the rat pestproblem. The service aims to increase partners' insight into implementing rat pest control using TBS. Community service activities in the form of outreach and training. The method used is descriptive quantitative, namely data collection through filling out questionnaires including knowledge skills, level of interest, posttest and pretest for partner knowledge evaluation. The results of the participant's assessment of the benefits of the training through Evaluation of farmers' understanding of the application of TBS technology showed results of 82%. The assessment shows the skills and insights obtained by the farmers are in the good category after carrying out the activities. The participants also showed interest in participating in the activities shown by the participants actively asking and listening during the discussion. TBS has been proven to be able to reduce the level of rat attack on rice by up to 80% so that farmers are interested in using the TBS trap system. Even so, the TBS system cannot break the life cycle of rats and further guidance is needed regarding sustainable cropping and cultivation patterns to overcome this in the farmers' environment in East Pademawu Village.

Abstract

Abstract. The problem for small businesses of mocaf-based products is drying. Thus, a dryer is needed which will be attempted through an apprenticeship program. Another problem is the need to expand the type of business. Through the diversification of cassava products, it produces mocaf noodles which can be sold at higher prices, thereby increasing income and improving people's welfare. The aim of PkM is to increase and maintain production continuity, as well as increase profits through the creation of derivative products. The target audience is people who are already engaged in the mocaf flour business and small culinary entrepreneurs. The training method is in the form of tutorials and technical training by integrating Islamic values into it. Based on the results of the apprenticeship, small ovens can be made by themselves. However, the production of large ovens cannot be completed considering there is still a shortage of funds. The manufacture and marketing of noodles have been occupied by several small culinary entrepreneurs and sold to meatball traders, as well as sold to consumers who have been customers before. The conclusion is that in order to increase mocaf flour production, it is necessary to make a good drying oven. The PkM team was able to build only 75% of the drying ovens, so more assistance and funding was needed. From the perspective of increasing mocaf-derived products, mocaf noodles are a profitable option, and giving rise to many new entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Abstract. In everyday life, humans need campaigns to succeed in their activities. The campaign is intended so that there is a harmony of understanding in the audience. Persuasive messages themselves can be packaged in various ways and one of them is socialization. Socialization can be considered effective if it can follow social patterns in the intended community. In this study, researchers will look at the effectiveness of the campaign conducted by the Markisa PPK Ormawa Team BEM Fikom Unisba in waste management. The Markisa Team was chosen because the researcher assessed that the Markisa Team was still new to waste management. In addition, the study program of the Markisa Team was not aligned with the campaign being carried out. This study uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach and uses the Ostergaard Campaign Model. And, from this study it can be concluded that the Markisa PPK Ormawa BEM Fikom Unisba Team is credible,  it's just that it hasn't achieved the goals it wants to achieve. This can be seen from several villagers who still do not understand the campaign being delivered.
