Abstract

The statistics course has always been one of the subjects of anxiety stressors for students who take the social sciences. Most students choose this subject of social sciences in order to avoid statistics or numeracy courses. Nevertheless students who take the social sciences must face a statistical course. This study aims to determine the differences of statistical anxiety in terms of gender. Respondents in this study are 66 students of Islamic Psychology course, Department of Ushuluddin, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri (STAIN) Kediri. The data collection techniques used in this study is a questionnaire in the form of scale. Statistics anxiety is the fear that occurs when a student working on a statistics course includes the collection, processing and interpretation of data. The results showed that there was a statistical anxiety difference between STAIN Kediri male and female students.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of Islamic education learning management; problematics of Islamic education and learning solutions; the output from the learning management implementation of Islamic Education in SMP 4 Kudus. This research subject is the principal, deputy head of affairs curriculum, school committee, teachers and learners. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of Islamic education learning management done well enough that include planning, implementation and evaluation/assessment. (2) Some of the problems that occur in the learning of Islamic education can be overcome quite well with the solutions that have been diajalankan; (3) Output implementation of Islamic education learning management looks pretty good views of the learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education, satisfactory.

Abstract

This study was conducted to design a guidance model of self regulated learning and test effectiveness of this model in improving quality of students scientific work. Design of model is done by identifying needs of students and apply model in guidance process of students scientific work. Subjects in this study are student who is writing their thesis numbered 42 people in UIN Sunan KAlijaga Yogyakarta. The results show that students need guidance on a strategy to complete thesis quickly and precisely. By applying that guidance model quality of students thesis  increased significantly shown in value of thesis that be obtained.

Abstract

The evaluation system is an important part of the curriculum component used to measure achievement of learning objectives. In learning at STAIN Kudus, each lecturer has different models and forms of learning evaluation. This study aims to examine the model of learning evaluation conducted by lecturers in Sharia Business Management Program (MBS) in 2014. As a result, the evaluation system consists of two types, test and non test. In the type of evaluation the test consists of written tests, oral and deeds. In the written test, there is an objective test form and a description test. While non-tests can be done through observation, portfolio, attitude instruments and so on. Evaluation system used by lecturers on MBS STAIN Kudus Prodi in general is a form of written test type description. Although there are some lecturers who use objective writing tests and oral tests.

Abstract

Pesantrens and communities should be able to establish partnership management for good governance and the common welfare of the economy and education. Recently, many pesantrens, however, are too busy with normative activities than social activities. Similarly, recent society is more individualistic. This situation certainly inhibits this partnership management. For that pesantrens should play their role as institutions of community empowerment aside from being a massage and educational institution. Although, in essence, pesantrens and communities are not separated institutions, because, both of them need each other in achieving the integrated prosperity of economy and education. Thereby, they can make a strong civil society.

Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is Supposed to be the main concern in education. This is done by the teaching of religious ethical values by example from the family, school and community. through the practice of worship, Such as fasting a month in Ramadhan (Refrain from eating and drinking or anything that may nevertheless invalidate the fast, all day from dawn until sunset in the month of Ramadan).  fasting, reading and understanding the holy book the Qur'an, physical and social environment conducive. when the spirituality of the students are organized, it will be Easier to organize other aspects of personality.  Fasting during Ramadan is a momentum for character building. Fasting will let people have strong principles, patience, Sincerity and do not give up and have the solidarity and love each other. That principle has now started to disappear. Moment of  Ramadan  may also be a school agenda for character building, with this media, students are expected to remember and go back to the true identity of the sacred and sublime, with the values of humanity and wisdom. When the values of human nature come back on the track, then the equality and solidarity will color the days of the students. Fasting has a horizontal dimension with a strong social life Such as charity, served meals to the orphans, be patient in facing the problem. there are some excellent values for building the character of students. It is Appropriate if the moment of Ramadan fasting would be passed on in the schools as a program after the month of Ramadan in shaping the character of students through the activities of the sunnah fasting( not compulsory fasting)   twice a week Monday-Thursday, or give students the freewill to negotiate to determine how many times a week or every month held sunnah fasting together, the idea of the Sunnah fasting is influence on the formation of student character effectively.

Abstract

In Learning takes creativity of teachers in the development of standards and basic competencies. Support principals, teachers and support colleagues internally within the teacher is indispensable in learning PAI. Islamic Education Teachers In senior high school 6 Yogyakarta've been able to manage learning well. With the mastery of information technology teachers PAI able to choose the right strategy and media in learning. Complete learning strategies to help overcome the differences found in the student and sufficient means also supports the management of learning. Teachers not only to plan a lesson but also to be able to perform well and structured. Factors that support the ability of teachers PAI most dominant learning PAI is MGMP. The limiting factor is the lack of teacher knowledge about PAI SBC.

Abstract

The curriculum is important in the world of education. Teachers play an important role in the change of a curriculum. Therefore, the determining factor for the successful implementation of the curriculum is the understanding of teachers, the core of the curriculum. This study aims to assess the level of teachers' understanding of the curriculum in 2013 and their responses to those changes. This study used a qualitative approach with interviews as the main data collection techniques. After collecting and analyzing the data, the results are as follows: with respect to the level of understanding of the teachers of the curriculum, would still need to be always serious attention especially by the leadership of the madrasas, such as teachers' understanding of the principles of learning, creation of lesson plans and assessment in accordance curriculum 2013. Regarding the response of teachers to address the changes to the curriculum, that is two some accept and some are refused. Although teachers actually realize that a change or innovation implies the change of a condition long to become better.

Abstract

This study aims to menaganlisisi influence of emotional intelligence, and the democratic leadership style to the performance of the head of RA Raudlotul women in Pati regency. Respondents in this study is the head Rayang amounted to 221 people with a sample of 135 people. The analysis used is multiple regression with SPSS 17. Results and discussion shows that 1) The value of correlation (r) of 0.188 indicates the relationship between emotional intelligence and the performance of the head of RA female Raudlatul 2) The value of the correlation (r) of 0.206 indicates a relationship between the democratic leadership and the performance of the head of RA Raudlatul women. 3) Emotional intelligence and the democratic leadership together or simultaneous positive and significant impact on the performance of the head of RA Raudlatul women in Pati regency that F test value of 5.356 and sig. at 0.006. Emotional intelligence means the better and it will be followed democratic leadership performance improvement Raudlatul head Athfal women in Pati regency.

Abstract

Educational institutions that produce educated generation is a place of reliance on the growth of generations berakhlakul karimah, friendly, courteous, and obey the rules of the country and religion. However, in reality, there is an educated generation but a terrorist actor. This happens because his life is in the environment (non-educational institutions) are coloring his mindset. Thus, the social environment contributes to the creation of a radical or polite generation. The consequence that must be done by formal and non formal education institutions is to change the learning patterns that text book into education that comes to the field with the content of the values of internal tolerance and inter-religious people. It is also necessary to realize the education of Bela Negara which is being worked by the Ministry of Defense RI era Jokowi-JK President. Tolerant education and state defenses are part of the effort to counter radical reasoning so that educators need to produce learning tips that do not dwell on class and text, it is also necessary to create an education that puts forward the real facts of social as a matter of study. The occurrence of radical reasoning because life is like a frog in a shell so that something different is identified with error. The need for intergovernmental and social elements to raise awareness that true education is the implementation of education in the home environment, community environment, and in educational institutions as a whole, not only in formal educational institutions only. Consequently, the need for learning innovation together in realizing an educated generation with smart and moral potential. Educational tips need to promote tolerant education in order to become a fanatic generation in dealing with differences in ethnicity, religion, and social strata in their environment. This effort is reinforced by the fact that terrorist networks have become an epidemic of acute illness in this country. In fact, the majority of educated perpetrators of terror, both formal education and non-formal religious education (Islamic).
