Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the policy for distributing BOS funds to private madrasah in 2020 in the West Sumatra Province as well as an analysis of the policy. This research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive method. The data is the policy for distributing BOS funds to private madrasah in 2020 and the obstacles that arise from this policy. Sources of data are technical guidelines and BOS fund managers at the provincial and madrasah levels. Data were collected in 2020 and early 2021 through observations and quetionary. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quanlitatively. Based on the analysis, it was found that the policy for distributing BOS funds in 2020 was carried out based on the Decree of the Director General of Education No: 7330 of 2019 dated December 27, 2019. In this decision, it was explained that the distribution of BOS funds to private madrasah was handed over to the Regional Office of the West Sumatra Province Ministry of Religion or the Regency Ministry of Religion. Constraints that arise are the budget reallocation process is not flexible and there is a BOS budget allocation in one area of the surplus while in other areas it is a minus.

Abstract

Partisipasi masyarakat dalam politik yang mudah diukur intensitasnya Keberadaan Pos Lintas Batas Negara (PLBN) di Entikong tidak serta merta memberi dampak sosial dan ekonomi bagi masyarakat perbatasan secara keseluruhan. Hal ini dikarenakan masih ada beberapa daerah perbatasan terdapat kesulitas akses menuju kota kecamatan. Hal ini di dusun Badat Lama, desa Suruh Tembawang, kecamatan Entikong yang menjadi fokus studi pada tulisan ini. Pemerintah daerah telah berupaya membuka akses jalan namun belum maksimal. Masalah keterbatasan akses ini kemudian berdampak bagi persoalan sosial dan ekonomi di wilayah perbatasan. Rumah panggung pada tulisan ini mencoba untuk memberi penjelasan dan pemahaman kepada kita bahwa perempuan di dalam keluarga Dayak Sungkung di Badat Lama, selain sebagai ibu juga menjadi sumber nafkah.

Abstract

The problem of terrorism in Indonesia is clearly troubling all circles to any social aspect. Efforts made by the government are still predominantly spontaneous and repressive. Besides, the explanation of social theory in explaining terror behavior in Indonesia is still not able to provide a broad and in-depth insight, so this problem has solved on the phenomena that appear on the surface only. Therefore, it is important to find a complex theoretical explanation that can be overcome to the root. The focus of the study is to analyze how the social reproduction of terror behavior in Indonesia with the perspective of Pierre Bourdieu. The descriptive method with a qualitative approach was used in this research. The method of data collection is done by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that terror behavior in Indonesia is an inner thought that lasts for quite a long time. The practice of terror does not happen instantly due to a certain momentum reaction. The reproduction of the terror behavior practice indicates the existence of a well-maintained habitus in the community. Their struggle is also inseparable from the existence of social capital and economic capital for the actors. Religious tendencies are used as a media that is considered appropriate to perpetuate the socialization process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal politics of regulating the implementation of regional head election campaigns during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the factors that influence the regulation of regional head election campaigns during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theory used in this study is the theory of the electoral administration model and the theory of legal politics. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with library research, which uses normative legal research methods. The results of this study, the legal politics of regulating regional head election campaigns during the Covid-19 pandemic was influenced by: First, violations of health protocols that occurred during candidate registration, involving a large number of masses, resulting in crowds. Second, the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases, which has also begun to target election organizers and regional election participants. Third, the insistence of various parties to postpone the simultaneous 2020 regional head elections. Fourth, the agreement of the DPR RI through Commission II with the Government through the Ministry of Home Affairs and Election Organizers (KPU, Bawaslu, DKPP) in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) on September 21, 2020.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the model of curriculum development in SMA Future Gate (FG) Bekasi. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the type of descriptive research. The data collection method begins with observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that first, there are two models of educational development, namely boarding school and full day school with their own advantages. This model is to get the convenience and comfort of access to student education, especially for those who live far away or relatively close to the school. Second, there are two models of curriculum development, which are oriented to the interests and talents of students and the benefit of the community. In preparation for the debriefing of interests and talents, students are guided by Counseling Teachers (BK) and study further of the Computer-Based Test (UTBK) preparation material to enter State Universities (PTN) which is run by the FG College Division. As for the benefit of the community, it is the orientation of students from the expertise they have in providing benefits to the local community. Although using the National Curriculum (K-13), the education curriculum at this school was also developed based on the Salafi version of Islam. This is stated in curriculum practices both formally and informally.

Abstract

Batik, with a unique style, reflectsthe prosperityofIndonesian culture. UNESCO officially designated batik as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. One of the batiksin Indonesia is original hand-written batik.Batik Gunawan Setiawan is a local batik company remainsproducing traditional hand-written batik. Hand-made batikfaced few problems includingless competitive with printingbatik, scarce raw materials, and the lack of batik artist regeneration. Thisresearch aims to describe Gunawan Setiawan's Batik strategyfor maintainingsustainable written batikbusiness. This study uses structural functionaltheorydeveloped by Talcott Parsons. This is a qualitativestudy supported bya case study approach. The data were collected through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. Data validity was tested with source triangulation. Afteranalyzing datawith data reduction, presentation, and conclusion, fact-findings indicate that to preserve written batikthe current strategycovers batik training program, writtenbatik fashioninnovation, batik-linked socialevents, direct selling promotion, mixed social media branding, joint Kauman batik tourism village,and regular Kauman batik exhibitionin Solo Batik Museum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the stunting prevention program in North Bengkulu Regency through the AGIL concept proposed by Talcot Parsons in the theory of Structural Functionalism. This study uses a qualitative research approach, with case studies. The type of research used is a more in-depth descriptive. Research data were collected through observation techniques, unstructured interviews and document collection. Research informants were determined through purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were 4 stunting prevention programs in North Bengkulu Regency, namely maternal and child health service programs, nutrition counseling programs and supplementary feeding, social protection programs and sanitation and clean water programs through the use of village funds. These four programs were able to reduce stunting rates in the research locations. Implementation of the program is emphasized on the process of community empowerment. The main targets are changes in personal health behavior and environmental health behavior. The process of adaptation, goal setting, integration, and pattern maintenance are also fairly well systemized in the program realization process. In the future, program implementation needs to be accompanied by the economic maturity of the community.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the youth’s social practice in organization and its contribution to border communities in Sebatik Island, Indonesia-Malaysia Border. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The result of research showed that social practice conducted by the youths in organization in Indonesia-Malaysia border is to establish organization based on shared hobby, background, and objective. Individual youths and organizations have different habitus and capital. Some youths have active habitus in many organizations and hold activities for internal members of organization and for the public. However, some others are active in internal organization only and focus on improving their self competency. Basic capital of organization is cultural capital of communication. Meanwhile, the supporting capital is social capital of intra- and inter-organization relation, symbolic capital in the form of public’s recognition that an individual has good organizational competency, and thereby is trusted to lead, and material economic capital.
