Abstract

Management of educational quality improvement is the integration of all function and processes within an educational organization in order to achieve continuous improvement of the quality of school outputs and services. The main objective is the satisfactions of the clients or customers. In the educational or school organization, there are three basic definitions of quality assurance, contract conformance, and customer driven. The application of TQM in the context of educational organizations is based on a framework that educational managers are able to make the process of improvement.

Abstract

Normally, there are three basic emotions of human beings since the human born, such as emotionally upset, excited and scared. Angry compensation theory is a theory that the human ability to divert the anger feelings that arise and it is human nature given by God. The compensation can be received directly or indirectly,  Prinsiply,  in direct competition if the person able to control their feeling of temper it’s can  protect  them  from  all diseases  such as;  heart disease, hypertension and others. In other hand, indirect compensation which is person will get the reward from the God that heaven will be included, and will be increased in rank highest, including pious, looks wise and admired by many people. Angry in man is something that is natural from God that cannot be removed by anyone but can be managed positively angry. Angry that someone means the positive impact will be more assertive and respected, can improve a person's self confidence and can overcome fear if someone can manage angry emotions well.

Abstract

Higher Education is a strategic economic engine as it plays a key role in the development and application of knowledge, expertise, skills and noble values of society through the development of the society with intensive knowledge to establish a civilized and independent society.One of the goals of education arranged by any institutions is to provide and produce graduates who have the ability and competitiveness in the search, acquisition, and creation of jobs. On the issue of competitiveness, unfortunately the condition of human resources (HR) in Indonesia is at a low level. One reason for the low competitiveness is lies on the higher education curriculum which is based on the content (content-based) that focuses on achievement (GPA) which describes the cognitive aspect, not on competence.One of the changes that must be done is to change the curriculum. Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) is believed to be the best answer to the changing times for the provision of education. Even, the curriculum is an answer to the nation in order to achieve a competitive advantage in the world (nation competitiveness).

Abstract

The study was done based on the importance of relief found for quality Islamic education process. The problem of this study was how to get the donation from Zakat, Infak, and Sedekah (ZIS) Organization for quality Islamic education process. Based on this problem, the objective of the study was to explore Rumah Zakat donation performance for formal education process “Sekolah Juara”. The quantitative analysis technique through balanced scorecard approach was used to to analyze the education donation. The result of the study showed that Rumah Zakat performance at staffing, performance development, and network is continously influence to public education performance, donation service, and accountability. Futhrmore, these performances influence society confident and gain of ZIS which is improved day to day. Moreover, these factors also influence the utilization of donation to held “Sekolah Juara” formal education program.

Abstract

There are some problems in Islamic education either theoretically or practically. Based on its theoretical problem, it have not been definite the ontological Islamic education source and there was a dichotomy in Islamic education epistemology which is caused the separation of religion science and general science. Based on its practical problem, there was some moral degradation of the students in some Islamic institutions. This article describes the Islamic education analysis based on philosophical science perspective (ontology, epistemology, and axiology) and describes the solutions from those problems.There were some conclusions taken from the description above; 1) based on Islamic education ontological theory, there are two kinds of science as they are material substance science and non-material substance science. 2) based on Islamic education epistemological theory, there are two kinds of science as they are kasbi science and ladunni science. 3) based on Islamic education axiological theory, there are two functions of science as they are beneficial for human being in real life and after life.

Abstract

Educational challenges requires the improvement of the quality of learning.one of the challenges of learning in teacher education institutions is theweak development of prospective teachers. Shulman mentions that to improve thequality of learning for candidate teachers is through the concept of pedagogicalcontent knowledge (PCK). Tarbiyah Faculty as LPTK that prepares prospectivecandidate teachers of religion is considered important to seek the mastery of  PCK skills through the development model of learning offered at the lecturing session. One of the benefits of PCKconcept is to be able to build the integrity of the candidate teacher’s competencies in mastering the content and pedagogy as a whole. The concept of PCK presents to overcome the problem of incompleteness of thecurriculum presentation that presents the content aspect on the one hand andaspects of pedagogy on the other side of other split aspects.

Abstract

The debate over how Centralized or decentralized the Management of Education System Should be is essential to the Success of Strategies for Improving or reforming the System. One of the main Aims of Educational reform and Probably the best means of Going about it is to involve the Stakeholders in Decision making. There are Varieous aspects to School’s autonomy. It applies first to resource managements it means that the school should be able to decide how to use a substantial portion of it Alloted resources. Many reasons have bean advanced to explain why this should be, but accordingly school based management it way for forching Individual school to take responsibility for what happens to childrens under Their jurisdiction and attending their school. Abstract

Recently, educational world is so striking because the government has been been doing and focusing on some efforts to build the concept of educational quality. One of the steps is a curriculum renewal in 2013. Although the 2013 curriculum has similar substance as the previous curriculum, one difference only lies on the method, namely Thematic Method. However, the curricullum cannot be separated from the quality of education itself that needs to be considered carefully, and great confidence arises when a new policy with extraordinary vision to 2025 that is to establish “smart and competitive Indonesian pupil (Perfect/ generous human being)". Although, like it or not if we analyze together that education in Indonesia, especially regarding to the quality, it can be said that it is much weaker compared to other countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Therefore, the solution is to improve the quality of culture, and it is supposed to be a priority for the nation's education today.Of course, the whole matter cannot be separated from the Total Quality Management (TQM), which is the chief of the concept of quality. Eventhough at the beginning TQM  itself was used by the company or business sector but today has grown up and spread to the world of education. It is because basically, the management system between the company and the management of the education system is relatively the same, especially related to the primary goal of TQM that is to give priority to customer satisfaction and quality compared to other things. Thus, the quality of education is a key sector for TQM concepts to develop an institution variously, creatively and innovatively.

Abstract

So far, the methods used by teachers in the learning process tend to conventional teaching methods which only includes students come , sit , write material that has been written by the teacher on the board , listening to the teacher explaining the material and do the work , using the lecture method . The impact, learning tends to be passive and bored quickly. This kind of learning situation is almost no opportunity for students to express their creativity, so the quality of the quality of learning also becomes low. Constructivism learning model seems to be one of the answers to these problems. Therefore, in this learning model students are preferred. Teaching and learning process in constructivism model student centered more colored than teacher centered. Constructivism model is more empowering for the class as a learning centered not for teaching; not teaching process but learning process. This is in accordance with the curriculum 2013, is autenthic assessment; assessment process and results.

Abstract

Trust is a very significant thing in a management. Good management is supported by good leadership. Leadership stands on the foundation of trust. When confidence fragile, then the leader will soon collapse. Similar to a standing leadership in education on the basis of trust. Therefore, the most fundamental and important when being a leader is to instill confidence in the members or subordinates because of the way that a leader will be respected and honored in an organization. Planting a sense of trust in subordinates leadership is influenced by the type of person and the type of leadership style depends on the person.
