Level of Professional Competence of State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIN) Teachers in Palembang City Ahmad Zainuri; Miftachul Huda; Febriyanti Febriyanti

Abstract

This study holds to answer of how the level of professional competence of teachers in the State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIN) Palembang City. It is expected to be beneficial as study materials for the managers and other stakeholders. The type of this research is field research with the State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIN) teachers’ population of Palembang City amounted to 85 teachers. The writer collected the data through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation study and analyzed using a descriptive statistical technique. The assessment is done by the Likert scale. The data analysis describes how much teachers' level of competence. The descriptions and categorization of data used the guidelines of tabulation data considering the minimum, maximum, interval index values, and distance intervals. The minimum index value is the minimum score multiplied by the number of questions multiplied by the number of respondents; the maximum value is the highest score times the number of questions multiplied by the number of respondents; the interval index value is the difference between the maximum index value and the minimum index value, and the distance interval is the interval divided by the desired number of levels. This study found that the professional competence of MIN teachers in Palembang city in the category was enough (average score 281.98). The only dimension of professional competence was in a good category is to utilize information and communication technologies to communicate and self-development. Meanwhile, other professional competencies: (a) mastering the materials, structures, concepts, and scientific mindsets support the subjects that are taught; (b) mastering the competency standard and basic competency of the subject/field of development that is supported; (c) developing creatively-taught learning materials; and (d) developing professionalism in a sustainable way by taking reflective action categorized fairly enough.

Abstract

Higher Education is a strategic economic engine as it plays a key role in the development and application of knowledge, expertise, skills and noble values of society through the development of the society with intensive knowledge to establish a civilized and independent society.One of the goals of education arranged by any institutions is to provide and produce graduates who have the ability and competitiveness in the search, acquisition, and creation of jobs. On the issue of competitiveness, unfortunately the condition of human resources (HR) in Indonesia is at a low level. One reason for the low competitiveness is lies on the higher education curriculum which is based on the content (content-based) that focuses on achievement (GPA) which describes the cognitive aspect, not on competence.One of the changes that must be done is to change the curriculum. Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) is believed to be the best answer to the changing times for the provision of education. Even, the curriculum is an answer to the nation in order to achieve a competitive advantage in the world (nation competitiveness).

Abstract

Madrasah as an Islamic institution that has existed since before the independence of the Republic of Indonesia gets tough challenges due to the demands of ever-changing society; increasingly demanding quality madrasah. The shift value is driven by the demands of globalization make LMU madrasah that combines public and the science of religion even got a chance in preparing the generation is ready and able to face the challenges of his time. With the moral capital strong religious, science and modern technology into the necessities of life, then the madrasah as education-based society will remain an option for parents, not only to send their children go to madrasah, but also his participation for the implementation of quality education, to encourage the planting base Basics competitive advantage.

Abstract

Supervision is an internal part of the education program, supervision is a cooperative service. Transcendental supervision is a series of activities in the context of supervision of the teaching profession. This research was conducted to reveal: 1) role of Principal as supervisor in improving learning quality. 2) supporting and inhibiting factors of the Principal's role as supervisor in improving the quality of learning. From the research result, the role of Principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of learning in Madrasah Aliayah Patra Mandiri Plaju has been done well but it needs to be improved again, the Principal has as much as possible in guiding, directing, designing, motivating to evaluate and maintain good relationship from inside school As well as from outside. While the inhibiting factors are, the principal is less experienced in supervising, lack of education operational support from the government and infrastructure facilities. While the supporting factor is, the willingness of teachers to receive guidance from the Principal Madrasah Aliyah Patra Mandiri Plaju, the participation of students who are active in school activities, the support of the superiors, and the existence of good relationships of school residents.

Abstract

Human Resource Development is an activity to maintain and improve employee competence in order to achieve organizational effectiveness. Human Resource Development can be realized through career development, as well as education and training This research is to know the Relationship of Career Development with Teacher Performance in Public High School 1 Kandis, Kandis Sub-district, Ogan Ilir District. Research methodology with the type of research used is (field research) direct research conducted with quantitative approach. Types of data are quantitative and qualitative with primary data sources and secondary data sources of literature on the subject matter. The population in this study is all teachers in Public High School 1 Kandis, Kandis Sub-district, Ogan Ilir District, amounting to 28 people. Technique of collecting data using Observation, Questionnaire (Questionnaire) and Technique. To analyze the data will be used statistical formula, namely the formula of Correlation Coefficient of Contigency Engineering. Teacher career development in the moderate category where 21 people with percentage of 75%, 4 people with percentage of 14.29%, and 4 people with 10.71% percentage. While the performance of teachers including medium category, where 19 respondents with percentage of 67.86%, 5 respondents with the percentage of 17.86%, and for 4 respondents with the percentage of 14.29%. Based on cotigence correlation analysis, there was a significant positive correlation between career development with proven teacher performance of Phi greater than rtabel, good at 5% level.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the education marketing strategy carried out by the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School, as well as the factors that influence the education marketing strategy at the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School. This research method is in the form of qualitative descriptive, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The key informant in this study was the principal, and the supporting informants were educators, education staff, students, and the community around the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School. The results of this study indicate that the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School has implemented a fairly good educational marketing strategy, several programs and services are offered and can attract public interest and taste, the promotional activities carried out by the school are quite good and a special team has been formed to promote education. Promotional activities carried out by schools include placing banners, distributing brochures, placing advertisements, and outreach to other schools. There is something unique about the promotion at Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School, namely "picking up the ball", in which the school gives a brochure to each student and students distribute it to their respective addresses, if the student succeeds in bringing in a new student, the student will be given a prize. from school.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya, gadget belum waktunya untuk diberikan pada anak-anak, hal ini dikarenakan dapat memicu perilaku konsumtif yang berlebih pada anak. Penggunanaan gadget yang berlebihan akan memberikan dampak buruk bagi sosiol emosional anak karena anak akan menjadi seorang yang pendiam, penyendiri, pemarah serta malas untuk melakukan aktifitas lainnya. Permasalahan pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini dalam penggunaan gadget di Desa Sembadak kabupaten ogan ilir dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Maka tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini dalam penggunaan gadget di Desa Sembadak kabupaten ogan ilir dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2022. Informan penelitian ini adalah orangtua dan anak usia dini di Desa Sembadak. Analisis data dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget pada anak usia dini di Desa Sembadak rata-rata adalah 1-2 jam. Perkembangan sosial emosional anak berbeda-beda, mulai dari kesadaran diri, tanggungjawab diri dan orang lain, serta perilaku prososial anak. Terdapat sikap anak usia dini di Desa Sembadak yang menunjukkan perilaku terbaik dari indikator perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini. Faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku sosial emosional anak usia dini di Desa Sembadak adalah faktor keluarga/lingkungan, status sosial ekonomi, intelegensi anak, pengalaman anak, serta pendidikan. Terdapat faktor lain yang juga ditemukan dalam penelitian, yaitu faktor media elektronik lain seperti Televisi.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang merupakan salah satu tridharma perguruan tinggi ini adalahkegiatan Penelitian Pengabdian Berbasis Program Studi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di lokasi pondok pesantren Daarul Muttaqien. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sejumlah guru fisika SMA/MA/SMK khususnya yang ada di kota Pagaralam. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan stimulus kepada guru tentang pemanfaatan alat peraga berbasis IT dalam media pembelajaran. Alat peraga berbasis IT yang dimaksud adalah penggunaan Arduino dan Water Flow Sensor untuk media pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga bagian yaitu : (1) penyampaian teori tentang fluida; (2) penyampaian materi tentang arduino dan cara membuat programnya; (3) praktek penggunaan media untuk mensimulasikan aliran fluida. Agar kegiatan ini juga didampingi dosen prodi, staf dan mahasiswa. Hasil yang diperoleh bagi guru pada pengabdian ini, selain pengetahuan awal tentang Arduino dan Water Flow Sensor, guru juga diberikan kit alat peraga yang digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengembangan Media Puzzle Edukatif Untuk Anak Usia 3-4 Tahun Di Kelompok Bermain YP AR CERIA Palembang 2022”. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kebutuhan media yang secara bervariasi yang diupayakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengetahuan c-1 perkembangan kognitif pada anak usia 3-4 tahun yang masih kurang sehingga membuat anak merasa kurang tertarik dan cepat merasa bosan dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif. Adapun rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana kelayakan, kevalidan, dan kepraktisan media big puzzle edukatif untuk anak usia 3-4 tahun di kelompok bermain yayasan pendidik ar-rahmat ceria Palembang, yang bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pengetahuan C-1 perkembangan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) menurut Borg dan Gall yang terdapat 10 langkah yang dilalui hanya 9 langkah, langkah yang ditembuh meliputi analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, dan revisi produk. Teknik pengumpulan data secara wawancara, observasi, angket serta dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media puzzle ini valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam penggunaannya. Hasil penilaian produk oleh ahli materi 90% kategori sangat valid, dan penilaian ahli media 97% kategori sangat valid, serta ahli bahasa 93% dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji coba lapangan kelompok kecil 5 anak mendapatkan skor 80% kategori praktis, uji coba lapangan kelompok besar 10 anak mendapatkan skor 91% kategori sangat praktis. Uji keefektifan dengan melakukan pre test terhadap 13 anak sebelum penggunaan 40,1% dan hasil post test 80,9% kategori efektif serta media big puzzle berpengaruh dalam peningkatan kemampuan pengetahuan c-1 perkembangan kognitif.
