Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi pokok listrik dinamis di kelas X semester II SMA Negeri 2 Binjai T.P. 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Binjai yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, kelas X-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata – rata pretes kelas eksperimen 19,69 dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 18,81. Setelah pembelajaran selesai, diberikan postes dan diperoleh nilai rata –rata kelas eksperimen 71,57 dan kelas kontrol 55,33. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi pokok listrik dinamis di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Binjai T.P.2015/2016.

Abstract

The aim of research is to know the effect of problem based learning model on student’s learning in the subject of dynamic electricity in X SMA Negeri 15 Medan A.Y. 2015/2016. The type of experiment is quasi-experimental using two group pretest-posttest design. The population is all the student X grade of SMA Negeri 15 Medan consists of 10 classes. The samples of the experiment were taken from 2 classes that determined with cluster random sampling technique, with the class X-7 as the experiment class and class X-1 as control class. The instruments that used is learning test result in essay with 10 questions that have been validated and the student’s learning observation activities sheet. To test the hypothesis used regression test with y = -0,162x + 69,32 and R² = 0,043 with the result that R = 0,207 with the  percentage increase 20,7%, after the prerequisite test is done, that is normality test and homogeneity test. The experiment results showed: (1) the problem based learning model can improve student’s learning activities and (2) there is the effect of problem based learning model on students’ learning outcomes in the subject matter dynamic electricity in class X SMA Negeri 15 Medan 2015/2016.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of inquiry learning model to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of Temperature and Heat in the tenth grade second semester of SMAN 1 Silima Punggapungga. The research was a quasi-experimental research design two group pretest-posttest design. The population in the study were all students of class X Semester II consists of 6 classes. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling is class X-3 as the experimental class that numbered 30 people and Class X-4 as a control class that numbered 30 people. The instruments used there are 2 of tests of learning outcomes in essay form with 10 questions and the number of observation sheet activity.  The instrument must first be validated by the validator, and hypothesis testing using t test. From the analysis of data obtained by the average value of the experimental class pretest of 21.73 with a standard deviation of 7.56 and average value control class is 21.2 with a standard deviation of 6.35. The average value of students learning activities at the first meeting amounted to 56.11%, the second meeting of 71.38% and 80.55% for the third meeting. Average values ​​obtained post test experimental class at 70.86 with a standard deviation of 8.29 and grade control of 63.06 with a standard deviation of 7.71. Of normality and homogeneity test showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data processing post test obtained then H accepted that there is influence of inquiry learning model to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of Temperature and Heat in the tenth grade second semester SMA Negeri 1 Silima Punggapungga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah  pada materi pokok Besaran dan Satuan. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperimen dengan desain two group pre-test dan pos-test. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Swasta Santo Yoseph Medan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah cluster random sampling, dengan sampel penelitian 2 kelas yaitu kelas X-I sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kelas X-4 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal dengan terlebih dahulu divalidasi oleh validator. Hasil analisis data menjelaskan bahwa uji model pembelajaran berbasis masalah  lebih berpengaruh meningkatkan kemampuan belajar pemecahan masalah daripada pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian quasi eksperimen untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry training terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IX semester genap pada sub materi kemagnetan di SMP Negeri 17 Medan T.P. 2016/2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX Semester II SMP Negeri 17 Medan yang terdiri dari sembilan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dua kelas yaitu kelas IX-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX-8 sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 41,000 dan kelas kontrol adalah 40,000 setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 75,333 dan kelas kontrol 63,000. Pada uji normalitas dan homogenitas kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Melalui uji t diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada sub materi kemagnetan di SMP Negeri 17 Medan T.P. 2016/2017.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning menggunakan video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok suhu dan kalor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan two group pre-testt-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X semester II yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan caracluster random sampling yaitu kelas X5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes hasil belajar sebanyak 10 soal dalam bentuk uraian. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 33,38 dan kelas kontrol adalah 31,12, setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 88,90 dan kelas kontrol 76,46. Dari hasil uji t diperoleh thitung = 6,409 sedangkan ttabel = 1,67, sehingga thitung > ttabel yaitu 6,409 > 1,67. Melalui uji t tersebut diperoleh hasil signifikan bahwa hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan lebih mengoptimalkan pengelolaan kelas khususnya pada saat diskusi berlangsung agar tidak terjadi kegaduhan – kegaduhan di dalam kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Inquiry Training learning model based real experiment and Critical Thinking Approach toward student’s learning outcomes in the subject matter of Static Fluid of class X MAN 1 Stabat T.P. 2015/2016. This study was quasi experiment. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling, with a sample of two classes, class X-3 as an experimental class and class X-1 as an convensional class. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes are result test in the form of 15 multiple-choice questions with 5 options, and the instrument used to critical thinking approach is 10 essay tests that have been validated by the validator. The data obtained are the result of pretest, posttest, and critical thingking approach test. Furthermore, the data is analyzed statistically consisting of normality test, homogeneity, hypothesis testing and ANAVA two ways. The results showed that: 1) there was an effect of Inquiry Training learning model based real experiment toward student’s learning outcomes, 2) there was an effect of high crtitcal thinking and low critical thinking toward student’s learning outcomes, 3) the effect of Inquiry Training learning model based real experiment and Critical Thinking Approach toward student’s learning outcomes of class X MAN 1 Stabat T.P. 2015/2016.

Abstract

This study aimed to know the effect of science process skills of students among the Inquiry Training (IT). This research is quasi- experimental study using pre-test and pos-test design. The population study of class X SMA Negeri 7 Tanjungbalai. Techniques that used to gain a simple is cluster random sampling, with a sample of two classes, class X-l as an experimental class and class X-4 as an convensional class. The instruments of this study were the science process skills test in the form of an essay test as many as six items, the affective, and psikomotoric was used observasion sheet. The analysis results showed that physics science process skills use Inquiry Training (IT)is different and showed better result compared with conventional learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of inquiry training learning model using PhET simulation media to student learning outcomes on static fluid subject matter. This research is quasi-experimental design with two control group pretest-posttest. With random cluster sampling technique by taking two classes of seventh grade is class X MIA-1 as the experimental class and class X MIA-5 as the control class with each numbered 32 people. The research instruments used in the form of test results in cognitive learning form description consists of 8 questions that have been validated and observation sheet to assess the activities. The result showed an average value 34.9 pretest experimental class and control class pretest 33.1. After the treatment si given experimental class with inquiry training learning model using PhET simulation media dan control class with conventional learning the data obtained with the posttest average yield experimental class dan control class was 68,5 and 61,1. Development activity of experimental class gained an average categorized as very active, and control group gained an average growth of activity in the category of active. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using different test (t-test) obtained the influence of inquiry training learning model using PhET simulation media on student learning outcomes in a static fluid material in the second half of class X SMA Negeri 1 Raya.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the effect of  Project Based Learning model toward physics student learning outcomesin the subject matter of dynamic elecricityin the second half of class X SMA Negeri 6 Binjai T.P. 2015/2016. This research is quasi experiment with pretest-posttest control group design, with a sample of two classes, the experimental class (X-2) and a control class (X-6) each of which is 31 students. Instruments essay test form number about 10 items and activities of students. The result showed the average value of the experimental class pretest was 46,70 and the average value of the control class is 46,58. The results of the average post-test experimental class 58,38 and control class 54,00. So it can be concluded that the results showed that the use of project based learning model of learning outcomes better than conventional learning.
