Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas, respon, dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi fluida statis berbasis inkuiri berdasarkan standart BSNP. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPA2 SMA Swasta PRIMBANA Medan pada bulan Maret–April 2015 dengan jumlah siswa 30 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu 1) menggunakan lembar validasi bahan ajar berupa angket yang divalidkan oleh tim ahli, 2) lembar penilaian respon siswa berupa angket, 3) lembar observasi aktivitas siswa yaitu psikomotorik dan afektif yang dinilai oleh 2 guru, 4)  soal yang disusun dan telah divalidkan berupa 5 pertanyaan setiap pertemuan. Hasil menunjukkan: Ada peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar Fisika berbasis Inkuiri pada materi Fluida Statis, yaitu pada pertemuan pertama diperoleh 67,50 dengan kategori “cukup aktif”, pertemuan kedua diperoleh 79,58 dengan kategori “aktif”, dan pertemuan ketiga diperoleh 88,85 dengan kategori “sangat aktif”. Ada peni gkatan respon belajar siswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar Fisika berbasis Inkuiri pada materi Fluida Statis, pada pertemuan pertama diperoleh 59,24 dengan kategori “cukup baik”, pertemuan kedua diperoleh 77,99 dengan kategori “baik”, dan pada pertemuan ketiga diperoleh 84,091 dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Ada peningkatan hasil  belajar siswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar Fisika berbasis Inkuiri pada materi Fluida Statis. Hasil belajar siswa dilakukan gain ternormalisasi yaitu gain pertama sebesar 0,336 kategori “sedang”, gain kedua sebesa 0,432 kategori “sedang”, dan gain ketiga sebesar 0,792 kategori “tinggi”. Abstract

ZnS nanoparticle has been syntesized from zinc asetat and thiorea 0.2 M using copresipitation method. The structure of the ZnS nanoparticle are wurtzite with hexagonal and blende (sphalerit) with cubic shape with average size of 39.56 nm. The elements of the ZnS measuring using EDS it was found that Zn has a mass of sebesar 52.20% with disperse energy of 8.630 keV and S element of 18.92% with disperse energy of 2.307 keV

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of inquiry training learning model using PhET simulation media to student learning outcomes on static fluid subject matter. This research is quasi-experimental design with two control group pretest-posttest. With random cluster sampling technique by taking two classes of seventh grade is class X MIA-1 as the experimental class and class X MIA-5 as the control class with each numbered 32 people. The research instruments used in the form of test results in cognitive learning form description consists of 8 questions that have been validated and observation sheet to assess the activities. The result showed an average value 34.9 pretest experimental class and control class pretest 33.1. After the treatment si given experimental class with inquiry training learning model using PhET simulation media dan control class with conventional learning the data obtained with the posttest average yield experimental class dan control class was 68,5 and 61,1. Development activity of experimental class gained an average categorized as very active, and control group gained an average growth of activity in the category of active. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using different test (t-test) obtained the influence of inquiry training learning model using PhET simulation media on student learning outcomes in a static fluid material in the second half of class X SMA Negeri 1 Raya.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of inquiry learning model to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of Temperature and Heat in the tenth grade second semester of SMAN 1 Silima Punggapungga. The research was a quasi-experimental research design two group pretest-posttest design. The population in the study were all students of class X Semester II consists of 6 classes. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling is class X-3 as the experimental class that numbered 30 people and Class X-4 as a control class that numbered 30 people. The instruments used there are 2 of tests of learning outcomes in essay form with 10 questions and the number of observation sheet activity.  The instrument must first be validated by the validator, and hypothesis testing using t test. From the analysis of data obtained by the average value of the experimental class pretest of 21.73 with a standard deviation of 7.56 and average value control class is 21.2 with a standard deviation of 6.35. The average value of students learning activities at the first meeting amounted to 56.11%, the second meeting of 71.38% and 80.55% for the third meeting. Average values ​​obtained post test experimental class at 70.86 with a standard deviation of 8.29 and grade control of 63.06 with a standard deviation of 7.71. Of normality and homogeneity test showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data processing post test obtained then H accepted that there is influence of inquiry learning model to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of Temperature and Heat in the tenth grade second semester SMA Negeri 1 Silima Punggapungga.

Abstract

Manfaat karet dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sangat banyak digunakan antara lain sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan ban, konveyer, sepatu dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh campuran sari jeruk nipis dan asam format sebagai bahan penggumpal lateks terhadap sifat vulkanisasi karet. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah sari jeruk nipis dan asam format dicampur dengan variasi yang berbeda. Adapun sifat vulkasnisasi yang diamati adalah berupa nilai Plastisitas awal (Po) yaitu berkisar (36,33-44,33) Nm-2 dan nilai terbesar ada pada fraksi asam format dan sari jeruk nipis (0,100) % sebesar 44 Nm-2. Nilai Plastisitas Retention Indeks (PRI) yaitu berkisar (54,54-75,50) Nm-2 dan nilai terbesar ada pada fraksi asam format dan sari jeruk nipis (30,70)% sebesar 75,50 Nm-2. Nilai waktu penundaan (ST) yaitu berkisar (0,57-0,77) menit, nilai waktu masak optimum (OCT) yaitu berkisar (1,43-2,05) menit, nilai kecepatan masak (CT) yaitu berkisar (1,17-1,37) menit. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa campuran sari jeruk nipis dan asam format dapat digunakan sebagai bahan penggumpal lateks. Nilai Plastisitas Awal dan Plastisitas Retention Indeks telah memenuhi Standar Indonesia Rubber.

Abstract

SINTESIS NANO ZEOLIT ALAM MENGGUNAKAN METODE BALL MILLING. Telah disintesis nanozeolit alam Pahae dengan metode ball milling. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan nilai jual sumber daya alam Sumatera Utara khususnya zeolit. Zeolit digerus sampai halus, lalu diayak dengan ukuran 200 mesh. Zeolit kemudian diaktivasi secara kimia dengan menggunakan HCl untuk membersihkan zeolit dari pengotor, dan secara fisis dengan kalsinasi pada suhu 600 oCselama 2 jam untuk mengurangi kadar air. Selanjutnya, serbuk zeolit yang sudah diaktivasi tersebut dimasukkan ke dalamball miling dan diaduk selama 10 jam untuk mendapatkan serbuk nanozeolit. Hasil X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) menunjukkan dua fasa dominan yaitu calsium aluminium silicate hydrate (CaAl2Si10O24.7 H2O) dan aluminium oxide (Al2O3). Dengan persamaan Scherer diperoleh ukuran kristal rata-rata zeolit adalah 74 nm. Hasil X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)menunjukkan kandungan zeolit alam Pahae terdiri dari senyawa Na2O (1,03%), MgO (0,82%), Al2O3 (17,29%), SiO2 (71,06), K2O (4,63%), CaO (1,92%), TiO2 (0,51%) dan Fe2O3 (2,75%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI berbantuan macromedia flash terhadap hasil belajar fisika SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen 39,00 dan kelas kontrol 43,38. Berdasarkan analisis uji-t dua pihak diperoleh thitung = 1,70dan ttabel = 1,998. Hal ini menyatakan kemampuan awal kedua sampel sama setelah diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda dilakukan posttest dengan nilai rata-rata eksperimen 73,90 dan kelas kontrol 66,47analisis uji-t satu pihak menunjukkan thitung = 2,75dan ttabel =1,669. Hal ini menyatakan ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI berbantuan macromedia flash terhadap hasil belajar fisika SMA.
