Madrasah: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Dasar is a journal published by Laboratorium Journal FITK UIN Malang, published twice a year in the June and December periods as a vehicle for scholarly communication in primary education and learning. Abstract

The goal of this paper was to study critically why madrasah as an institutional development agen of Islamic education in Indonesia, whith the innovation is that of curriculum oriented in hospitality in approaching the students based on tauhid (the unity of science and religion). The study is carried out in the prespective of Islamic education concept and that of inclusive education.Through comparative analysis, the study finds five same characteristics of Islamic education and inclusive education: (1) education as a right or duty; (2) education for all; (3) the principle of non-segregation; (4) the holistic view of the pupil; (5) handicap seen in relation to external factors, especially school environment.Madrasah can be viewed as an application of both the principle of non-segregation and the holistic view of the pupil. The principle of non-segregation is applicated in the process of education with the hospitality to all students: everyone is admitted in accordance with his faculty and potentiality, and receives educational services without discrimination. Moreover, the holistic view of the pupil is applicated in the intended design to meet the faculty of reasoning with that of intuition in the process of learning by the integration the revealed signs from the Qur’an and Sunnah with the cosmic signs (matters of natural and social sciences). The innovation, then, has made the revealed signs the first data as well as the source of values-both are marginalized in the contemporary practice of education.Other principles are being challenges the madrasah should anticipate in the future. One of them is the developing education human resource, and the way of student recruitment, because they have deferent background.Keyword: Madrasah, Islamic, Inclusion Education

Abstract

In order to widespread the best quality of education in elementary education from preliminary to elementary school, it is important to develop the management of education substantion. The aspects of management education substatntion are: 1) curriculum, 2) the student, 3) the teachers, 4) education facilities, 5) education financing, 6) public relation. This paper discussing only 3 aspects, are: 1) development of curriculum which relates to the basic program of children learning for the 0-12 years old, 2) development of students which relates to effective learning process in order to develop children potential for the preliminary and elementary school year age equally, 3) development of teachers which relates to the teachers capabilities in preliminary and elementary years old. Those three aspects is strengthened by al-Qur`an perspective.Keywords: Management substantion, elementary education

Abstract

Members of a religious community have naturally strereotypical opinion about those of religious communities. It is a universal thing in the interaction amongst religions of the education people, with complexity gap from the past up to now not yet filled by strategic concepts in an attempt to buil, mutual respect, harmony, and human ringh. Through his analytic study, the writer highlights` the needs for the govermments to strengthen the religious followers integration through the programs of the humanity education in Indonesia. Abstract

We have known, mathematic is considered the difficult lesson by several students. The student mathematic achievement is very lack of satisfactory and very less, moreover madrasah’s student. This article wants to offer the newest way to up grade the student’s mathematic achievement. The mathematic learning should be performed by a heart, not only by a brain. This is a scientist concept at Koran who can use “fikir” and “dzikir”, a heart and a brain, “bayani”, “burhani” and “irfani” method in mathematic learning. In other word, the mathematic learning should be involved the intellectual questions (IQ), spiritual questions (SQ), and emotional questions (EQ).Keyword: Paradigm, Matematic, al-Quran

Abstract

The survey result of International Monitoring Studies has done by TIMSS (Third International Science and Mathematics Study) at 2005 in science education domain (1) Analysis of content structure, (2) Research on teaching and learning, (3) Development and evaluation of  instruction/Instructional design, dan (4) Research on curriculer issue and science education policies, has reported that quality of science (IPA) learning in Indonesia is still leaved than others state in Asia, even Asia Tenggara. Abstract

Each education institute has a great longing to be able to conduct all education programs thoroughly. The desire to do the whole brings in the school endeavor that is how to create favorable situation between schools and students’ participant.  The aim in doing close relationship between school and students’ participant is to give more comprehension for them in school life. Home visit is one of the school programs whose enormous effect in attempting school programs. Abstract

Managerial skill is an ability to perform a job base on a competence in which is done by objective and in collaboration with others. In education, leader’s skill of school as manager is an ability of school leader to do a tasks base on the ability competence in leading the objective through t he others. Whereas, the school leader who has the competence is getting of best of a work qualification that is agree with a work and in reality. The school leader who has a competence be able to do in his job effectively and efficiently. There are tree managerial skills those should be dominated by school leader: conceptual skill, technical skill, and skill for dealing with others. Keyword: Manajerial Skill, Madrasah, Quality.

Both cooperative and competitive methods are influence the student creativity. However, base on the research study the cooperative method understood is more effective than competitive method in developing student creativity. Abstract

This article tries to discuss about the using of interactive teaching model to help students to understand and develop plant concept in their daily lives. Interactive teaching model is a teaching model that focuses on students’ questions aspect. Interactive teaching model of the plant concept is based on constructivist approach contain characteristic of science teaching. Teaching characteristic of plant concept is by pay attention and consider the students’ early knowledge which can be gained from the environment outside the school. Teacher can help find out the students’ knowledge as early understanding about plant concept and also give the opportunity for students to construct their knowledge. The steps to apply the interactive teaching model are preparation, before views, exploratory activities, students’ question, investigations, after views and reflections. The use of interactive teaching model can help the students to increase their understanding about plant concept and motivate them to interest to study science.Keywords: Interactive teaching, constructivist, concept
