Abstract

This article discusses about the students’ problem in making an essay. The purpose of this article was to find out the students’ problem in making an essay.Object of this article was students’ essay that took by random sampling. The instrument used in this artcle were a test, interview and documentation. From the analysis it was found that the student was the difficulty to develop the ideas, lack of understanding in citing of experts’ opinion, and the lack of references. It can conclude that the basic problem of makin essay was the english department did not have a complete facilities to support the students’ skill.

Abstract

The research aims studying the Influence of Cooperative Learning Model of Team Games Tournament (TGT) Type and Environmental Activity Setting to Students Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects. This experiment research was conducted inSD Negeri 002 Rambah on the First Semester in the academic year 2014-2015. This research involved grade VI which students of VIC as experimental class and VIA grade students as a control class. It is a random sampling. This research uses quasiexperimenta model with 2 x 2 factorial designs. The result of the research of the Influence of Cooperative Learning Model of Team Games Tournament (TGT) Type and Environmental Activity Setting To Students Learning Outcomes in ScienceSubjects shows: (1) The differences in learning outcome of students in science subject taught by using Cooperative Learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) and conventional learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the psychomotor abilities of student in learning physics based on practical method in SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir. The design used in this research is the design of One-Shot Case Study. While the sample of thisresearch is the class XA SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir by the number of students is 27 students.Determination of the sample was conducted using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is in the form of a guide sheet practicum and performance assessment. Data analysis performed in this study is effectiveness ratio to determine how big the percentage of target achieved on the targets set in thepractical implementation. The results of the analysis showed that the average classical completeness is equivalent to 85% with complete categories and the average ratio of effectiveness in classical amounted to 93.1% with the effective category. Thismeans that the use of practical method is effective in the psychomotor abilities of student in learning physics at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir.

Abstract

This research begin from the speed problem of the Garuda Rokan Soccer School athlete. It’s so hard to pursuit the ball for the athlete, with lack of the speed ability athlete had a big problem to argued against the opponent team automatically.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of shadow drill exercise and sled towing speed cord towing and the achievement motivation toward speed of football athletes skill Garuda Rokan Soccer School. This research is quasi experiment. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar ma h a siswa pada materi Kalor. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ma h a siswaprogram studi pendidikan biologi yang berjumlah 13 orang. Data yang diperoleh dari tes dan lembar observasi dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif.Hasil penelitian (a) hasil belajar siswa terdiri dari aspek pemahaman konsep dan aspek kinerja ilmiah. Untuk aspek pemahaman konsep pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 60,58 dan ketuntasan belajar 15,38 % (belum tuntas), pada siklus IIdengan nilai rata-rata 66,35 dan ketuntasan belajar 76,92 % (tuntas), dan pada siklus III dengan nilai rata-rata 74,81 dan ketuntasan belajar 92,31 % (tuntas).

Abstract

Based in the observation, there are some athletes doing the mistake in servicing.It can be found in doing out service, hold on the net and serve on no target. It was caused by the strength of holding and flexibility waist. The purpose of the research to find out the significance of the strength of holding and toward athletes service slice of PTL UNP. The research was the correlation. The population of the research was correlation. The population was all UNP PTL, consisted of 35 students and the sample of was 30 % by using purposive sampling. They were 20 men. Data collection used handgrips dynamometer test and Hewitt tennis achievement test and analyzed by using simple and couple product moment. The result of the research used determination coefficient. The results of the research show that 1. There was asignificance correlation between the strength of holding (X1) and service slice on target. 2. There was the significance correlation between flexibility waits (X2) and service slice on target. 3. There was the contribution between X1 and X2 toward Y itwas 32%.

Abstract

Learning Processes has to be developed in the efforst of searching for the proper techniques to solve students’ learning problems. The technique of W2C is one of the alternatives. This was showed by the results of the study of minimizing students’handicaps in writing information about something even a very simple one, like what is a pen? The results of the study revealed that in the first cycle the highest score was 78 which was increased to 81,33 in the second cycles, and then 87,33 in the third one.The lowest score 50 in the first cycle increased to 70 in the second cycle, and then 71,33 in the third. The average scores ranged from 72,912 in the first to 76,146 in the second, and then 77,58 in the third cycles. In line with the percentage of development of students’ learning competence using the Model of W2C learning, the scores below 70 was 93,33% at first, but finally every students had achieved the target scores(100%). For all colleaques teachers, it is expected to innovate their teaching quality by having various teaching teachniques in the teaching processes.

Abstract

Based on the result of observation in the field, seen that the Extracurriculler for Student’s of Junior High School of IT Al Ikhlas Pekanbaru City doesn’t operate the practising abiliy yet, so that the Long Jump Achievement result is farly still low. Thepurpose of this research is to explain the relationship and Contribution of the Achievement Motivation the Student’s Long Jump Achievement Student’s Extracurriculler. The reseach result is quantitative by using the corelational analysis technique. The Population of this research were 33 people, while the Samples was taken through Total Sampling, so it were got 33 people. The instrument in the research was used questionnaire for the Achievement Motivation. Data which found was analised using the Simple Corelation analysis technique. Data analysis resultshown that: Achievement Motivation given the contribution, but not significant to the Student’s Long Jump Achievement of the Extracurriculler of Junior High School of IT Al Ikhlas Pekanbaru City, the contribution was 10.24 %.

Abstract

This article is concerned with the study of applying writing task activities to students’ writing skill in developing good paragraphs at class II/A English Department in FKIP University of PasirPengaraian 20152016. The aspects explored in the study covered activities done by the lecturer in facilitating students’ need of the writing knowledge and skill . The research employed the action research design and the instruments used in collecting the data were a set of tests, observation sheet, fieldnoteand interview.The data analysis covered preparation and data implementation. The findings showed that thethe use of writing task activities could better improve students’ writing skill in developing good paragraphs. The finding also found somefactors that contributed to the better improvement, namely the selection of topics to be developed, the rule of peer and group discussion and the support of the writing lecturer in the instruction.

Abstract

The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Rambah. The method used in this study is correlational analysis method. This method is used to prove the presence or absence of relationship problems examined in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rambah. Thepurpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the habit of reading with reading comprehension class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rambah. From this research is that in reading habit and reading comprehension class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rambah,the average level of the reading habits of students is high, with an average score of 72.88. Similarly, the ability of students' reading comprehension is high with anaverage score of 73.4.
