Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in abnormal returns generated by the company before and after mergers and acquisitions. Measurement variables used in this study is Cumulative Abnormal Return (CAR) which is divided into several event window that is CAR-20,-2; CAR0; CAR1, - 1; and CAR2, 20. It is also used abnormal return for each day during 41 days of observation. The study found no significant abnormal return on announcement of mergers and acquisitions. Other results show, there were no differences in abnormal return for each event window periods being compared. While on the daily abnormal stock returns for 41 days were compared in pairs, obtained the result that there are significant differences in abnormal return in a few days before and after mergers and acquisitions

Rentability, Solvability, Liquidity ratio this research to result that company condition all be fine. Company can give short term and long term liability. The Company has been liquid, solvable, rendabel. Liquidity ratio is not too hight. This to prove the company capable use the founds is efficient.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of human resources and technology utilization of accounting information on the performance of financial reporting Surakarta municipal government.  Samples  were  employees  /  staff  DPPKA  in  the  Surakarta  municipal government  agencies.  Data  were  collected  by  taking  50  respondents  from  the  area  of the budget, treasury field, the field of assets and accounting and secretariat of the local government  areas  of  the  city  of  Surakarta.  Methods  of  data  collection  was  done  by using  purposive  sampling  judgment  through  the  survey.  Results  of  research  in  the formulation  of  hypothesis  H1  indicates  that  human  resources  are  not  significantly positive  effect  on  the  performance  of financial  reporting.  While the  results  of  a  second study  in  the  formulation  of  hypothesis  H2  suggests  that  the  existence of  significant influence  positively  the  use  of  information  technology  accounting  significant  positive effect  on  the  performance  of  financial  reporting.  Simultaneous  trials  and  research results  show  that  the  existence  of  significant  positive  effect  between human  resources and  technology  utilization  of  accounting  information  on  the  performance  of  financial reporting.

Abstract

Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science, technology, and arts through education, research, and community service. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence achievement motivation, power motivation, and affiliation motivation on the performance of lecturers, especially female lecturers at private universities in Surakarta which certainly has her own characteristics and challenges in performing her dual role. When the motivations of a lecturer are known, it can be used as the basis of giving motivation to improve her performance.

Abstract

This research  was carried out on PT. Sinarmas Multifinance in Surakarta.  The aim  of  the  study  are:    (1)  To  know  the  influence  of  work  satisfaction,  motivation,  and discipline  toward  productivity.    (2)  To  know  the  dominant  factor  among  work satisfaction, motivation, and discipline that influence toward productivity. The  hypothesis  drawnare:  (1)  Presummed  that  there  are  influence  of  work satisfaction,  motivation,  and  discipline  toward  productivity.    (2)  Presummed  that motivation has dominant influence toward productivity. The population of this research is 49 employees of PT. Sinarmas Multifinance in Surakartawith  primary data. Technique of Analysis applied are validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression, t-test , F- test and coefficient of determination. The  results  of  this  study  are:    (1)  There  are  simultaneous  and  significant influence  of  work  satisfaction,  motivation,  and  discipline  toward  productivity.    (2) Motivation  has  dominant  influence  toward  productivity  in  PT.  Sinarmas  Multifinance, Surakarta

Abstract

This study aims are to determine the effect of leadership, organizational culture on the  performance  of  employees  in  the  Univercity  of  Nahdlatul  Ulama  Surakarta  with commitment as an intervening variable.  Data analysis techniques used path analysis  (path analysis ),  which  will be tested with the  t test, F test and test R2  , Correlations, direct effect and indirect effect and total effect. The  technique  of  collecting  data  using  questionnaires,  the  sample  are  employes at the Univercity of Nahdlatul Ulama Surakarta as many as 30 respondents. T- test  result  showed  leadership  has  positive  and  significant  impact  on  employee commitment,  organizational  culture  has  positive   and  insignificant    effect  on  employee commitment.  As  for  variable  leadership    and  commitment  have  a  positive  and significant  effect  on  the  performance,  organizational  culture  has  positive  and insignificant  effect  on  the  performance  of  employees  in  the  Univercity  of  Nahdlatul Ulama Surakarta. F test showed simultaneously leadership, organizational culture and commitment’s  organizations  has  significant  positive  effect  on  the  performance  of employees in the Univercity of Nahdlatul Ulama Surakarta. The value of the coefficient of  determinasi  R  square  of  0,9413or  94,13%.  This  means  that  the  employee’s performance  is  explained  by  the  variable  leadership,  organizational  culture  and commitment  as  an  intervening  variable  of  94,13  %  and  the  remaining  5,87  %  is explained by other variables outside our model, such as work environment, competence and others.

Abstract

Education is a power and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of studying in the learning process, so that learners are active developing their potential. Modeling method and ethics is a very important method and factual is ever happen by the Prophet Muhammad during in the process of education and learning. The history of education had proven that the Prophet Muhammad is a figure of educator and learner who succeed in forming an educated generation and strong personality through modeling method and ethic noble morality.            When further, based on the results of previous studies on model of excellence STAD and indisputable historical facts about the success of Prophet Muhammad SAW builds human’s character’s into a generation educated and ethic noble morality, modeling method and ethics are reflected in the model STAD and learning are inextricably linked to cultivate students’ personality that ethic noble. In the process of development in the world of education, it is urgent if fostered noble ideals and ethics within which learners can be integrated in the learning model employed by teachers and lecturer.            Modeling idealsand ethics that need to be developed and nurtured in the learning process through STAD models so that learners used to develop a positive attitude to form the personality of an independent, strong, caring and moral in turn achieved success and the learner’s successful achieve performance. In the last of the formation of character education as a result of the modeling ideals and ethics in learners’ selves.

Abstract

Cooperative as a container or agencies that handle economic activity is said to be the cornerstone of the cooperative economy capable of creating wealth and prosperity. The rapid growth of cooperatives can be seen from the economic feasibility of their business, it can be said that a healthy cooperative effort, if the sources of capital that has been used and exploited by its members in accordance with the goals and objectives of the cooperative, and efficient cost control management in order to serve the needs of members effectively.The issues raised in this study about how to manage finances, penyusunanan budget, how close watch timeliness of financial statements and its financial ratios of the characteristic koperasi.Adapun cooperative goal to go into detail in a healthy and cooperative economy is a joint research masyarakat.Kontribusi is to add insight and wisdom cooperative managers, able to take into account their own tax planning, enhance trust a third party. In connection with this study keresponden direct the analysis tools used are: classical assumption test validity, reliability testing, lenier multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing using t-test and F test The findings of this study is lacking in attention to financial management, efficient, effective, quick, and reliable transfaran, ignore the timeliness of financial reporting, lacking in account all aspects of finance and financial ratios related to liability, lack of understanding of the growth and health cooperatives. The advice can be given is this study is the manager or managers should pay attention to guidance from the local cooperatives and related offices, often participate in training/education workshops to broaden the decision-making.

Abstract

This study objective to determine the application of CSR in companies in Indonesia, the factors that affect the application of CSR and its implications on the business sector. This is a type of descriptive qualitative research which describes and analyzes the implementation of CSR in companies in Indonesia and its implications in the business sector. This study uses secondary data including data on the implementation of CSR is compiled from various sources of literature. Technical analysis of the data using the flow of data collection activities, interpret, and ends with a conclusion.This study shows CSR in Indonesia implemented by many large companies both private and state-owned (SOE), but most still view CSR as charity or charitable activities rather than as a long-term corporate strategy. Motivation to implement more CSR as social-spiritual motives. implementation of CSR is determined by the value of the companys internal corporate leadership, especially the decision. External factors that government regulation into the factors that determine the CSR after the Indonesian government in 2007 set the Limited Liability Company Act, which requires CSR for companies dealing in natural resources. This rule invites the agree and disagree of the substance of CSR: voluntary or mandatory. The argument is a social problem or public interest is not a realm of responsibility of business organizations, but the responsibility of the public sector (state). Implementing CSR should be left entirely in the business sector or the third sector.
