Abstract

Rapid flow of information through on the Internet has tended to be confusion (confusion) among users. It will cause potential customers perform undesired actions. This study will confirm the Consumers Online Tourism Confusion Model on Indonesian citizen. The population in this study are: Citizen of Indonesia who are at least 18 years, using online media (internet) in seeking information on tourism products and are planning a trip (vacation). This research is analysed by using regression method with a total 100 respondents being involved. The results showed that learning orientation and price consciousness variables bring negative and significant effect on consumer confusion, while the level of need for cognition brings positive and significant impact on consumer confusion. The results of this study suggest that the company in particular that rely on product differentiation as a competitive advantage, should continue to use other media in implementing marketing communications strategies in order to avoid consumer confusion.

Abstract

Alfamart is one of the biggest retail company in Indonesia that has private label products as a corporatecompetitive strategy. The sales of Alfamart’s private label products still below the national products.Therefore, the company should develop internal and external strategies to increase customer purchaseintention toward Alfamart’s private label products.The purpose of this study was to describe the effectsof store image and service quality to customer trust and purchase intentions toward private label products.This study used 200 respondents with purposive sampling technique and analyzed by Structural EquationModeling (SEM). The results showed that the effects of store image and service quality were significantlypositive on customer trust and customer purchase intention, as well as the effect of customer trust wassignificantly positive on customer purchase intention. Research implication showed that the organizationshould manage internal and external factor to increase purchase intention.Keywords: store image, service quality, customer trust, purchase intention

Abstract

Information technology has become a major part of an organization. To realize good governance, one ofthem can be done by continuously making improvements in the management of regional finances andapplying the application of Regional Financial Management Information System (SIPKD). The successof this application can not be separated from the existence of quality human resources, informationtechnology and top management support. This research was conducted by using survey method withquestionnaire technique. The population in this study were 166 respondents, consisting of financialofficer and head of department in Denpasar City Government as much as 70 respondents with purposivesampling technique and multiple regression analysis model and moderation regression analysis. Theresult obtained is the capacity of human resources and information technology have a positive effect onthe implementation of regional financial information management system. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1). Untuk menganalisis kondisi pelaporan perusahaan tentang kesempatan kerja yang ada sesuai dengan UU RI No 7 tahun 1981, baik yang sudah terisi maupun yang belum terisi di setiap perusahaan yang ada di Provinsi Bali 2). Untuk menganalisis tingkat perkembangan data pencari kerja di Dinas Tenaga Kerja yang melaporkan dirinya sedang mencari kerja di Provinsi Bali 3). Untuk mengkaji tingkat perkembangan pencari kerja yang dapat ditempatkan oleh Dinas Tenaga Kerja sebagai perantara di pasar kerja di Provinsi Bali Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di seluruh dinas tenaga kerja yang ada di Provinsi Bali (9 di kabupaten/kota). Selain itu juga akan diteliti perusahaan sebanyak 100 perusahaan dan 100 pekerja/pencari kerja di seluruh kabupaten/kota. Objek penelitiannya antara lain, implementasi dan pengetahuan tentang UU tentang wajib lapor ketenagakerjaan di perusahaan, jumlah karyawan, kepemilikan ijin usaha. Data yang digunakan ada 2 yaitu data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan sumber data yang digunakan ada 2 yaitu sumber primer/data primer dan sumber sekunder/data sekunder. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling data yang digunakan ada 3 yaitu observasi, wawancara/interview, dan wawancara mendalam. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistic inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan:1) Tidak seluruh responden perusahaan yang ada melaporkan kondisi ketenagakerjaan mereka ke Disnaker secara berkala; 2) tingkat perkembangan pencari kerja menurut kabupaten/kota dilihat dari jumlah pencari kartu kuning kondisinya berfluktuasi, dan secara umum ada kecenderungan mengalami kenaikan sampai data pada tahun terakhir; 3) pencari kerja yang dapat disalurkan oleh Disnaker dilakukan melalui kegiatan job fair; Beberapa saran yang dapat diajukan antara lain kegiatan monitoring ini dapat dilakukan secara lebih intensif maupun secara ekstensif ke perusahaan-perusahaan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran untuk melapor. Selain itu Disnaker dapat mewajibkan perusahaan yang akan mencari tenaga kerja baru untuk mensyaratkan kartu kuning dalam lamaran pencari kerja. Program mendesiminasi informasi melalui KIE (Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukasi) tentang wajib lapor ketenagakerjaan perusahaan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efektif terhadap perusahaan-perusahaan yang lebih muda tahun berdirinya, sehingga KAP (Knowledge, Attitude, dan Practice) mereka akan dapat ditingkatkan. Disnaker dapat bekerja sama dengan lembaga atau badan pemberi ijin usaha untuk mendesimani UU wajib lapor ketenagakerjaan di perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment toturnover intention and role of organizational commitment in mediating the effect of job satisfactionon turnover intention. The research population is all unit manager at Prudential 4 Denpasarbranch office in Denpasar and use 167 samples with probability sampling method. To determinethe number of samples, used Slovin formula. Methods of data collection using survey methodswith questionnaires as a tool. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares analysis. Theresults of the study found that job satisfaction has a significant effect on turnover intention.Organizational commitment was also found to have a significant effect on turnover intention.Furthermore, organizational commitment was found to mediate the effect of job satisfaction onturnover intention. The implication of this research is, in order to suppress the emergence ofintention turnover, top managers of Prudential Indonesia need to maintain employee loyalty,especially the unit manager, to the company. The management of Prudential Indonesia alsoneeds to maintain the suitability of existing work practices in the field with the expectation ofemployees, especially the unit manager, then keep the work situation to be conducive, so as notto cause excessive pressure.Keywords: job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention

Abstract

Auditor is profession with high level of stress that lead to burnout. The intention of this study is toobtain observed information of the effect of role conflict, role ambiguity and role overload on auditorperformance. To obtain empirical evidence of the effect of role conflict, role ambiguity and role overloadto burnout. To achieve observed information of the impact of burnout on auditor performance. Topersuade the capability of burnout in mediating the effect of role conflict, role ambiguity and roleoverload on auditor performance. The population of this research is all public accounting offices in BaliProvince. The sample is chosen by purposive sampling method with criteria of auditors with workingexperience at public accounting office at least one year and auditors who have done minimum one auditassignment. Data are analyzed using path analysis. The test outcome show that role conflict and roleambiguity have negative impact to auditor performance. Role conflict, role ambiguity and role overloadhave positive effect on burnout. Burnout is able to fully mediate the negative effect of role conflict, roleambiguity and role overload on auditor performance.Keywords: auditor performance, role conflict, role ambiguity, role overload and burnout

Abstract

Purpose of this review is to explore research about polychronic orientation. Polychronic orientation isthe tendency of a person’s behavior in completing many tasks or jobs in one period of time. Results ofthe review note that there is still growing discussion on definition of polychronic orientation. Discussionsappear to whether this orientation is an individual or cultural domain. There were still ambiguous distinctionbetween polychronic orientation and multitasking behavior. Search also found that there is still a lack ofresearch and study that examines the polychronic orientation on collaboration in a group or team. Thereview also revealed that there were inconsistencies on findings of polychronicity orientation effect onperformance. Polychronic orientation should be placed as part of a person environtment-fit theory inexplaining the effect on performance and the various aspects of the organization. This review foundthere are still shortage research about the effect of polychronic orientation on job satisfaction, distributivefairness and turnover intention. Abstract

Pertumbuhan toko ritel tidak lepas dari kinerja dan produktivitas sumber daya manusia. Kepuasan kerja adalah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja dan produktivitas sumber daya manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan etis terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan loyalty to supervisor sebagai pemediasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Matahari Departement Store Duta Plaza Denpasar. Jumlah sampel diambil sebanyak 110 karyawan. Metode yang digunakan sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner yang menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path) disertai uji Sobel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa kepemimpinan etis dan loyalty to supervisor berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Selain hal tersebut, loyalty to supervisor secara signifikan mampu memediasi pengaruh antara kepemimpinan etis dan kepuasan kerja. Hasil ini mengindikasi bahwa loyalty to supervisor memiliki peranan penting dalam kepemimpinan etis yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan karena akan berdampak pada meningkatnya kepuasan kerja karyawan itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the performance by integrating the budgetary participation and managerialcompetence with conditional factors (psychological capital and organization commitment). Performancetested was the managerial performance of Denpasar Water Supply Company. The research was conductedby survey and questionnair distributed to all managers who have a higher management and staff as wellas directly involved in the budgeting process. The questionnaire can be used is 36 questionnaires. Dataanalysis was performed using regression and residual test for equality moderation. The results showedbudgetary participation and managerial competence has positive effect on managerial performance;psychological capital and organizational commitment strengthening effect budgetary participation onmanagerial performance; psychological capital and organizational commitment strengthening effectmanagerial competence on managerial performance.Keywords: managerial performance, budgetary participation, managerial competence,psychological capital, organizational commitment.
