Abstract

The study aimed to prove the effect of single-parent (father) parenting and peer conformity on religiosity in adolescents in the Marga Sekampung sub-district, East Lampung district. The study was a quantitative study with a population and sample of 51 adolescents aged 10-16 years. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation. Instrument validity was through Product Moment correlation and instrument reliability through the split-half technique. The data analysis technique is through the prerequisite test with normality and homogeneity tests, variable description, and the hypothesis test with simple linear regression and multiple regression tests. The study found that the effect of single-parent (father) parenting, peer conformity, and self-concept together on adolescent religiosity was 82.8% and 17.2% affected by other factors.

Abstract

The article seeks to analyze the teachings of the Tarekat Alawiyah in Palembang. The study employs a qualitative approach emphasizing descriptive and phenomenological analyses toward the subject of the research, namely the leaders and the followers of this Sufi order. The study finds that the teaching of the Tarekat Alawiyah in Palembang relevantly belongs to the teachings of Taṣawwuf Akhlāqī, which put emphasis on the importance of worship, noble manners, sharī‘ah, and knowledge. This Sufi order practices a such number of rituals as the recitation of the rātib, ḥawl (commemorating the death of important figures like murshid), mawlid (commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad), and making a devotional visit to the tombs of the Muslim clerics and ḥabā’ib (descendants of the Prophet). This tarekat differs from other Sufi orders in the sense that it nullifies the process of bay‘ah (taking an oath from a new member). The study concludes that the Alawiyah Tarekat seems to be relevantly compatible with the needs of contemporary society. This is so because this tariqa has practically simple rituals that can be easily performed by its members. This feature attracts even youngsters to join this Sufi order.

Abstract

This article is research report on the implementation of Yasiniyah method in learning of reading al-Qur’an. The research use theories of phenomenology–symbolic-interactionism for understanding reality in application of this method. For anlyzing the meaning  of reality, it need the approach of social-psichology with contrast analysis, verification and comparation with another different reality. Yasiniah method, philosophically, is based on pesantren’s classic tradition. The characteristic of Yasiniah method can be seen in its system of implementation, i.e. : 1) recruitment system of new student; 2) system of class management; 3) learning material; 4) strategy implemented; 5) system of evaluation use test or directly oral examination  by facing mustahiq individually, and who can pass the exam will be given the certificate at alumni’s release ceremony in  every end of academic year.

Abstract

This article entitled culture of pesantren (madrasah boarding schools) in South Sumatra. This article is the result of research in Pesantren Nurul Islam Ogan Ilir South Sumatra. It is based on the fact that many pesantren graduation create academicians from the Kiayi or Ulama. Therefore, this paper describe the characteristics of the culture of madrasah schools from anthropology-sociology aspects of education, with a phenomenological approach to research subjects are madrasah chairman, board of teachers, students and community supporters. The data collection techniques used documentation study, observation and in-depth interviews, and analysis of data using qualitative descriptive, with triangulation and contrasting techniques. Applying local knowledge systems in boarding school curriculum and integrated with Madrasah boarding school curriculum. Orientation discipline tends towards positive law than the laws of Personality Syara’. Clothing the students follow a uniform generally used in madrasah. For students wear clothes instead of the veil of windings. Artistic activities undertaken include: litany, muhad Barzanji, Tilawah al-Qur’an, calligraphy, and drum band. Artikel berjudul budaya pesantren (sekolah berasrama madrasah) di Sumatera Selatan. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian di Pesantren Nurul Islam Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. Hal ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa banyak lulusan pesantren melahirkan akademisi dari kiayi atau Ulama. Oleh karena itu, makalah ini menggambarkan karakteristik budaya dari sekolah madrasah dari aspek antropologi-sosiologi pendidikan, dengan pendekatan fenomenologis dengan subyek penelitian kepala madrasah, dewan guru, siswa dan masyarakat sekitar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan studi dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara mendalam, dan analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan triangulasi dan teknik kontras. Menerapkan sistem pengetahuan lokal dalam kurikulum pesantren dan terintegrasi dengan kurikulum sekolah berasrama Madrasah. Orientasi disiplin cenderung ke arah hukum positif dari hukum-hukum syara'. Pakaian para siswa mengikuti seragam pada umumnya yang digunakan di madrasah. Untuk siswa memakai pakaian bukan kain. Kegiatan seni yang dilakukan antara lain: litany, muhad Barzanji, Tilawah al-Qur'an, kaligrafi, dan drum band.

Abstract

Indonesia is known in some models of madrasah education. At least, there are four models of madrasah in Indonesia, namely: diniyah madrasah, public madrasah, madrassa special program, and madrasah schools. Model madrasah This latter is a new phenomenon in the history of Islamic education in Indonesia. As in Madrasah Aliyah boarding school Sabilul Hasanah, the education model is trying to combine modern education system but still maintain a traditional pesantren education system. Merging two models of Islamic education system is dimaksudakan for harmony between faith and piety on the one hand and modern science on the other side. Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang mendeskripsikan tentang kultur asrama di SMPIT Al-Furqan Palembang, memahami makna filosofis asrama bagi masyarakat belajar SMPIT Al-Furqan Palembang, serta memahami sistem nilai dalam kultur tersebut pada konteks pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan, yakni dengan menjadikan SMPIT Al-Furqan Palembang sebagai objek penelitian. Sedangkan sumber primer dalam penelitian ini, yakni berasal dari hasil observasi dan didukung juga dengan hasil wawancara. Sedangkan yang menjadi informan dalam kajian ini adalah para siswa dan para tenaga pendidik, pembina dan kepala asrama, kepala sekolah, pengurus dapur, petugas keamanan dan ketertiban asrama, kantin dan toko di sekitar asrama, serta beberapa orang wali siswa. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa karakter yang ingin ditanamkan kepada setiap siswa/ peserta didik di SMPIT Al-Furqan Palembang, yakni: religious, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dll. Karakter ini akan dicapai dengan membuat tata tertib peraturan, panduan dan sangsi atas setiap pelanggaran.                              This article is the result of research that describes about the dormitory culture at Al-Furqan SMP IT Palembang, understanding the philosophical meaning of hostels for people to learn SMPIT Al-Furqan Palembang, as well as understanding the value system of the culture in the context of contemporary Islamic education. This research is a field study, by making SMP IT Al-Furqan Palembang as research objects. While the primary source in this study is derived from the observation and supported also by the results of the interview. While the informants in this study are students and educators, teachers and matron, principals, kitchen staffs, security guards and order cafeterias and shops around the dormitory, as well as several students’ parents. The article concludes that the character who wants to be imparted to each student / learner in SMP IT Al-Furqan Palembang, namely: religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, environmental care, social care, and so on. These characters will be achieved by making the disciplinary regulations, guidelines and sanctions for any violations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan pesantren tradisional K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari selama 48 tahun memimpin Pesantren Tebuireng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustrakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan adalah buku-buku tentang biografi K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari dan website Pesantren Tebuireng. Kemudian data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ada beberapa pemikiran yang ditawarkan oleh K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari yang identik dengan pengelolaan pesantren tradisional terdapat pada enam konsep, pertama, tujuan pendidikan adalah ibadah mengharap rida Allah Swt. untuk kebahagaian di dunia dan akhirat, mendidik calon ulama yang menguasiai pengetahuan umum (ulama intelektual) dan sarjana dalam bidang pengetahuan umum yang juga menguasai pengetahuan Islam (intelektual ulama). Kedua, pendidik terkait etika pendidik, etika ketika mengajar, dan etika pendidik kepada peserta didik. Ketiga, peserta didik terkait etika peserta didik selama belajar, etika kepada guru, dan etika terhadap mata pelajaran. Keempat, kurikulum terkait pengetahuan agama yang bersumber dari kitab kuning dan pengetahuan umum. Kelima, metode pembelajaran yaitu metode wetonan dan sorogan, metode hafalan, muhawarat, dan metode mudhaharat. dan keenam, evaluasi terkait tes lisan, tertulis, dan pengamatan.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the centers of biodiversity in particular areas of food, which one of them is from a species of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of production time associated with fulfilling the request of the oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is high in the market, the utilization of thiamine (vitamin B1) need to be investigated. This study aims to determine the levels of thiamine (vitamin B1), which is best used in the growth of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). This study used quantitative experiments and research design complete randomized design with four treatments and six times as many repetitions as well as research along with the observations made on 21 June to 11 July 2015 (in 20 days) in the House of White Oyster Mushroom Production Nurseries, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (OKUT). As for the levels of thiamine (vitamin B1) used in this study use the unit ppm (parts per million), namely: B0 (control), B1 (0.1 ppm), B2 (0.2 ppm), B3 (0.3 ppm). Parameters measured were the growth of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) which include emerging buds time (day), the time of harvest (days), weight (grams), wide hood (cm), and stem length (cm). Conclusions from the study and based on data analysis (ANOVA) and F test showed that administration of thiamine (vitamin B1) does not provide an effective influence on the growth of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus).

As for the levels of thiamine (vitamin B1) used in this study use the unit ppm (parts per million), namely: B0 (control / without giving thiamine), B1 (thiamine with levels of 0.1 ppm), B2 (thiamine grading 0.2 ppm), B3 (thiamine with levels of 0.3 ppm). Parameters measured were the growth of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is wide hood (cm). This study used quantitative experiments and research design complete randomized design with four treatments and six times as many repetitions as well as research along with the observations made on 21 June to 11 July 2015 (in 20 days) in the House of White Oyster Mushroom Production Nurseries, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (OKUT). Administration of thiamine (vitamin B1) performed 2 days and watering is done every day, morning and evening using a sprayer. Low temperatures and high humidity is maintained by using hygrothermometer. Conclusions from the study and based on data analysis (ANOVA / Analysis of Variance) and F test showed that administration of thiamine (vitamin B1) does not provide an effective influence on the growth of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). Information thiamine (vitamin B1), which serves for the growth of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is expected to be beneficial to its development as a commercial commodity mushrooms.

Abstract

A learning activity that did not correspond with the interest will generated unfavorable achievement. It can be said that with appropriate learning methods can lead to student interst. In learning process we need to caused a learning interest to the students. But in the real class a lot of teachers finds obtacles, because the lack of variations in learning method. Therefore the formulation of the problems is there any affection towards the use of role playing method in student learning interest on tenth grade student of SMA Azharyah palembang, this study aims to determine the effect of the use of the role playing towards the student learning interest of class X on virus material in SMA Azharyah Palembang . this research was done in august until semptember 2016 in SMA Azharyah Palembang. The population of this research was all of X student class of SMA Azharyah Palembang which is divided inti 2 classes and 30 students in average. X1 as a experiment class and X2 as a control class, sampling was done by used sampling jenuh technique. The research was used quantitative research method. The design was used in this research is true experimental design in form of posstest-only control design. To se the interest in students learning is done by using questionnaires and observation sheets. And to measure the effect of role playing method to student learning interst is using t-test. The result show that the learning interst in experiment class in high category was 33%, medium 47% and low 20%. Meanwhile in control class in high category was 20%, medium 50% and low 30% this shows that the experimental class student learning interest is higher compared to the control class. Furthermore there is an influence on students learning interest. Obtained t hitung = 11,75 then compared with t table= 1,671. So the result showed  that t hitung > t table. Thus Ha accepted.
