Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of attitudes toward willingness to pay of Philips LED bulb, with level  of consumer income as  moderating variable.  The study  was  conducted  in Denpasar  City with sample size of 90 LED bulbs user but have not used the Philips brand.  Sample was determined by purposive sampling and data were collected by using questionnaires distributed directly. The data were processed with Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of  this study indicate that attitudes is positively  affect willingness to pay, but the level of income is negatively affect willingness to pay. Nevertheless, income level are significantly moderate the relationship between attitude and willingness to pay, and the resultsshow a positive coefficient, which means that the income level strengthen the influence of attitude toward willingness to pay of Philips LED bulb

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect spreads, market value, variance return and dividend payout ratio of the holding period of the stock chemical and basic industry sectors 2011-2014 period. The study was conducted using the method of non-participant observation, the data used is secondary data obtained in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) through the site www.idx.co.id. The sample used in the study of eight companies which were determined using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. Based on the analysis, variable spreads had a negative influence is not significant, the market value has a significant negative effect, return variance has no significant negative effect and the dividend payout ratio has a significant positive pengeruh. Simultaneously independent variables significantly influence the holding period. Based on the results of this study should investors pay attention to the variable market value and the dividend payout ratio that has a significant influence on the holding period

Abstract

Thi s  study  aims  to  analyze  the moderating  role  of work  experience  on the effect  of work  stress.  The  study wasconducted  at  the  Bali  Dynasty Resort   Kuta  with a  sample  of  84 people,   selected  by proportioned  stratifiedrandom  sampl ing  method.  Data  were  analyzed  using  Moderated  Regression  Analysis  (MRA).  It  found  thatwork experience was able to moderate  stress whi le working on the performance of work experience was  notable  to moderate the  influence of  intrinsic  motivation on  performance.  Head  of the company  should  improveemployee performance  through opt imal  recruitment not ice  and pay  at tention to  the  work  experience of  theapplicants  as  well   as  providing  information  on  employment  status  and  length  of  employment  to  the  peoplewho elected as an employee

Abstract

The explanation of how individuals do whistle-blowing is actually influenced by interpersonal factors of employees. This article aims to develop an original framework that explains the role of moderating perception of organizational support between organizational commitment and whistle-blowing attitudes. This research is an empirical study at state universities in the city of Bandung with multivariate analysis as a tool in explaining the research hypothesis. The results show that organizational commitment empirically has a positive effect on whistle-blowing attitudes. Furthermore, the perceived organizational support positively moderates the influence between organizational commitment and whistle-blowing attitudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know whether the leadership and working relationship has an influence to career development and whether career development, leadership and working relationship has an influence to job satisfaction. 255 employees in Secretariat Office of the Provincial Government of Bali were chosen with proportionate random sampling and data were collected by questionnaire. Analysis technique applies is SEM (Structural Equation Model). Based on the analysis, leadership and working relationship significantly influence employee career development. Career development and working relationships significantly influence employee satisfaction but leadership did not significantly influence employee satisfaction. This research implies that element of leadership and element of working relationships need to be increased in order to improve career development and career development needs to be improved in order to increase employee satisfaction through improved working relationship

Abstract

Women entrepreneurs, an important factor supporting the economy and the research, present a variety of success factors that interesting to observe. This study aims to explore these three success factors of entrepreneurship including; bank credit, training, motivational, and inspirational success through the survey stage. This analysis shows that the three success factors effect on the amount of assets, production levels, productivity, and total profit, despite the success factor has no effect on increasing the number of workers. Limitation of this study is the homogeneity of the respondents, then this probably to become a reference for the further research as well as a research gap.

Abstract

Aim of this studyis to identify environmental management issues at starred hotels in Bali. Respondent of thisstudy was 126 hotel manager. The data obtained through questionnaire which was analyzed by descriptivestatistic. The findings show that environmental management issues take an important place to the hotelmanagement and emerge as bases for hotel manager of starred hotels in Bali for carrrying out environmentalmanagement. Out of seven issues analyzed in this study, three of them emerge as important issues i.e. pressurefrom travel agent, pressure from customer and tourist, and cimate change. There is a significant differenceamong one, two, and three starred hotels and four and five starred hotels related to the significance of thoseissues. For manager of one, two, and three starred hotels, those issues are in “important” category, whereasfor four and five starred hotels, they are in “very important” categories which push them to do management ofenvironment.

Abstract

This study aims is to determine the effect of Organizational Justice and Job Insecurity on contract employee at PT. Wico Interna, Singaraja, Bali. Job Satisfaction on contract employees is important to note, because Job Satisfaction will give employees encouragement to work optimally in resolving any issues that arise. Job satisfaction is a set of employees feelings about their jobs . There are several variables that can affect Job Satisfaction , such as the Organizational Justice and Job Insecurity. 30 respondents were chosen using census method and analyzed using Partial Least Square. The analysis showed Organizational Justice positive effect on Job Satisfaction, Organizational Justice and the subsequent influence of Job Insecurity on Job Satisfaction showed a negative and significant effect

Abstract

Keputusan investasi yang dibuat seorang pengusaha cenderung dipengaruhi oleh Jiwa Kewirausahaan yangdimiliki. Berbagai penelitian telah membuktikan hal tersebut, namun masih terdapat beberapa yangmenunjukkan inkonsistensi pengaruh jiwa kewirausahaan pada pembuatan keputusan investasi. Penelitianini termotivasi untuk membuktikan adanya pengetahuan akuntansi yang dimiliki oleh para pelaku bisnis/usaha mikro kecil (UMK) mempengaruhi hubungan antara jiwa kewirausahaan dan pembuatan keputusaninvestasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk memperoleh data secara langsung tentang persepsidari para pelaku UMK terkait jiwa kewirausahaan, penggunaan informasi akuntansi, dan keputusan investasi.Sejumlah 98 orang pelaku UMK sebagai sampel penelitian untuk selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan regresimoderasian untuk membuktikan adanya penggunaan informasi akuntansi memoderasi pengaruh jiwakewirausaan pada pembuatan keputusan investasi. Penggunaan pengetahuan akuntansi oleh pelaku UMKterbukti memperkuat pengaruh jiwa kewirausahaan pada pembuatan keputusan investasi, hal ini berartipemahaman informasi akuntansi yang dimiliki para pelaku UMK, memudahkan para pelaku UMK dalammembuat keputusan investasi. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa selain jiwa kewirausahaan yang harus adapada diri seorang pelaku UMK, pemahaman informasi akuntansi merupakan hal yang sangat dibutuhkandalam pembuatan keputusan investasi.Kata kunci: pengetahuan akuntansi, jiwa kewirausahaan, pembuatan keputusan investasi.

Abstract

Purpose of study is to analyze variables that determine capital structure of non-financial companies in Indonesia. There are seven variables observed namely company's growth rate, profitability, firm size, asset structure, liquidity, non-debt tax shield and business risk. The population were non-financial companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2010-2014 and published annual financial statements in 2009-2014. Study used census technique. Population consisted of 324 companies. Data analysis technique used was multiple regression model for panel data. The results show that profitability, firm size and non-debt tax shield (NDTS) had significant effect on capital structure. Study concluded that profitability and non-debt tax shield are determinant variables of capital structure on non-financial firms in Indonesia based on trade-off theory approach while firm size tends to follow other capital structure theory.
