Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the impact of employee commitment on conflict management style with object, circumstances, and conditions of Indonesia. The respondent of this study is 261 employees of government-owned banks from five regencies in the Province of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The data were analized by implementing Multiple Linear Regression Technique. The results show that there is an indicationthat employees who have both commitment to the community and to the supervisor tends to implement integrating and avoiding style. Employees who have a commitment to superior, tends to carry out domi nating and obliging approach. Whereas, employees who have a commitment to society, tend to implementing compromising approach. Implication of this study for future research is carry out longitudinal or ex perimental study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan bukti empiris tentang pengaruh pengungkapan enterprise risk management (ERM) pada hubungan kepemilikan manajerial dengan nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder pada perusahaan Manufaktur yang terdaftar pada periode 2013-2015 di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan sampel akhir sejumlah 57 amatan. Hipotesis diuji dengan Moderated Regression Analysis untuk data panel dengan metode Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa ERM disclosure memperkuat pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial pada nilai perusahaan. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan dukungan pada signalling theory, agency theory, dan pentingnya ERM disclosure baik bagi manajemen, investor, kreditor dan regulator terkait hubungan kepemilikan manajerial pada nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence macroeconomic performance on industry performance and company financial performance and stock returns the banking company in Indonesia Stock Exchange.Theanalysis technique is path analysis. The results of this research are the macroeconomic performance  and company financial performance are not significant positive effect on stock return, while industrial  performanceis not significant negative effect on stock returns. Subsequent findings is that macroeconomic performance has a significant positive effect on industrial performance and no significant positive effect on company financial performance, while industrial performance is not significant negative effect on the company financial performance of banking companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role to national development, so it needs to get the attention of government and society. This study aims to assesses the effect of government policy and the involvement of stakeholders (educational institutions, financial institutions, cooperatives, business associations, and NGOs) on the performance of MSMEs. This study uses a quantitative method, regression and correlation analysis. Results show that the government has paid special attention to MSMEs through Law No. 20 of 2008, as well as through the Cooperative and MSMEs service office. Involvement of stakeholders in training, coaching, mentoring, funding, and partnerships have played an important role in improving MSMEs performance. MSMEs hope that the government would amend laws and regulations, such as low taxes, simple bureaucracy and easy administrative procedures, would also assist their competitiveness. MSMEs also needs the sustainable involvement of stakeholders for their empowerment.

Abstract

West Sumatra is a province which is possess a variety of traditional food. Such foods have became souveniricon for visitors who come to the tourist areas of West Sumatra. These kinds of food produced by Small andMedium Enterprises (SMEs) scattered throughout the territory of West Sumatra. Government group them intosnack cluster. The purpose of this study was to investigate the affirmation model of snack SMEs in WestSumatra as well as to arrange simulation of the models designed. This is qualitative study implements FocusGroup Discussion and in-depth interview as data collection method . The results show that snack SMEs in thesample region need to be reinforced through training, mentoring, and coaching. Training required includeentrepreneurial and managerial skills.

Abstract

The expectancy theory argues that the actions of employees were motivated by the hope that the employee will obtained some result, the optimal service quality is achieved when employees are satisfied and commited with their work. The study aims is to determine the effect of job satisfaction to organizational commitment and service quality of Bali Hyatt Sanur Hotel employee. The population were all employees which directly deals with consumers, 166 samples were chosen by proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analysed using path analysis with SPSS. The results showed that job satisfaction has a positive effect on organizational commitment and service quality, on the other side, organizational commitment has a positive effect on the service quality. The implications of this study showed that the match between workload and salary is very important to maintain employee organizational commitment. Job satisfaction will  increase employee loyalty and the willingness to provide the best  service quality

Abstract

This research aims to formulate and select the BMT Al-Ittihad Rumbai strategy to face the changing competition of business environment the are from internal environment such as organization resources, finance, member and external business such as competitor, economy, politics and others. Method of this research used Analysis of EFAS, IFAS, IE Matrix, SWOT-8K Matrix, SPACE Matrix and TWOS Matrix. Our hope from this research, it can assist BMT Al-Ittihad in formulating and selecting strategies for the sustainability of BMT Al-Ittihad in the future. The sample in this research is using purposive sampling technique that is the manager and leader of BMT Al-Ittihad Rumbai Pekanbaru. The result of this research shows that the position of BMT Al-Ittihad using IE Matrix, SWOT-8K Matrix and SPACE Matrix is in growth position, stabilization and aggressive. The choice of strategy after using TWOS Matrix is market penetration, market development, vertical integration, horizontal integration, and stabilization (careful.)Keyword: internal environment, external environment, strategy formulation, TWOS Matrix

Abstract

This paper aim is to determine the impact of several macroeconomic variables on bond prices. The object of research is the Republic of Indonesia’s bonds denominated in Japanese Yen. Variables used in this research are the price of Samurai Bonds series RIJPY071 as the dependent variable, while the predictor variables are the level of Japanese inflation, exchange rate US$/JP¥ and Japanese interest rates. The data used in the research are monthly data from the period of January 2010 to August 2015 and the analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. The research concluded that the inflation rate has a positive influence on bond prices, both the exchange rate US$/JP¥ and the interest rates has a negative impact on bond prices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analize the effect of stock price, stock trading volume, and volatility of stock returns on bid-ask spread. The population of this study is 20 companies incorporated in LQ45 index that appear successively during the observation period of 2011-2013. Sampling method used was saturated sampling technique, so all companies used as sample. Hipotheses were examined by implementing multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that stock price negatively affect bid-ask spread, while stock trading volume and volatility of stock returns has no significant effect on bid-ask spread.

Abstract

This  study aimed  to  determine  the  effect  of  job   satisfaction  on  employee  performance,  employee  performance to customer satisfaction, and job satisfaction on customer satisfaction through employee performance. This study took place in hospitals-private hospital in Denpasar, sing hospital employees and patients as research respondents. Proof of this hypothesis using path analysis techniques.The results obtained  in  this  study  that  are:  1)  job  satisfaction  have  significant  positive  impact on  employeeperformance, 2) the performance of the employee significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, and 3) positively influence job satisfaction directly and indirectly through the employee’s performance to customer satisfaction.
