Abstract

The Rapid Growth of science and technology in global area makes the space and time be unlimited. the relationship among people is more intensive, deeeper, and more rapid than before. this condition gives more chances and challenges for counceling and guidance profession. Abstract

The main concern of this study was to find out : (1) the corelation between achievement motive, affiliation motive, power motive, and school disipline; (2) the corelation between achievement motive and school disipline; (3) the corelation between affiliation motive and school disipline; (4)the corelation between power motive and school disipline. The subject of this study were 320 second grade students of state senior high school. The study was conducted in the third semester of 1995/1996. Questionnaire, and documentation were used for collecting data. The data were analyzed by regession analysis and partial correlation. The results of the study were as follows : (1) There was significant correlation between achievement motive, affiliation motive, and power motive and shool disipline; (2) There was a positive relation between achievement motive and school disipline; (3) There was a positive relation between affiliation motive and school disipline; (4) There was negative relation between power motive and school disipline. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar-belakangi oleh adanya isu tentang kemerosotan moral akibat dari timbulnya era globalisasi, industralisasi modern dan informasi elektronik. Hal ini menuntut peningkatan nilai, utamanya mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila, serta perlunya pelestarian nilai-nilai Pancasila. Masalah pokok yang perlu dijawab adalah: (1) Seberapa jauh Pendidikan Pancasila telah mengajarkan nilai-nilai? (2) Apakah terdapat kemiripan antara moral Pancasila dan moralitas Jawa? Penelitian ini merupakan suatu survai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan observasi, analisis isi dan studi kepustakaan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik statistik chi-kuadrat dan analisis tema. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pendidikan Pancasila lebih banyak mengajarkan nilai-nilai kesejahteraan dan kehidupan daripada nilai-nilai kerohanian. (2) Terdapat kemiripan antara moral Pancasila dan moralitas Jawa. Dengan demikian, unsur kebudayaan Jawa, utamanya cerita, wayang, dan karya sastra dapat dimanfaatkan guna peningkatan kualitas proses mengajar-belajar Pendidikan Pancasila sebagai pendidikan nilai. Kata Kunci : kemerosotan moral, pendidikan Pancasila, moralitas Jawa, pendidikan nilai.

Abstract

Value clarification only reflects and implicates in the gathering condition where all people are able to develop the value of respectness. Solidarity and interiority. Value clarification is the learning process that supports the value which is found in human being’s life including value of freedom. The point of value is in way of thinking, the way of attitudes, and the way of behaviour, either personal or together. Value clarification will make the students become more mature in finding and giving the positive value in their freedom. Progressivism philosophy is relevant to develop the value of clarification to the freedom of human beings in democration. Since there is an opinion of basic progressivism a value has a quality of social, besides progressivism giving pressure to the freedom of the students, progressivism also cares to the disipline of the students so they get advantages. Progressivism as the philosophy of education will get big problems in managing an education in a managed curriculum. Keyword : value clarification, freedom, democracy, progressivism

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah tentang modifikasi interaksi oleh kelompok kecil diskusi mahasiswa Indonesia yang belajar Bahasa Inggris dalam menyelaraskan arti. Masalah pokok dari kajian ini adalah : modifikasi interaksi apa yang digunakan oleh kelompok diskusi mahasiswa yang belajar Bahasa Inggris untuk menyelaraskan arti? Kajian ini juga bertujuan mengenali modifikasi interaksi yang dilakukan mahasiswa tersebut dalam menyelaraskan arti.  Data dikumpulkan dari seuah kelompok kecil diskusi mahasiswa Bahasa Inggris IKIP PGRI Semarang yang telah direkam dan ditranskripsikan menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Eggins dan Slade (1997). Berdasarkan transkripsi tersebut sebagian besar data dianalisa menggunakan taksonomi yang dikembangkan oleh Pica dan Doughty (1985), dan didukung oleh Tarone (1983) dan Agustien (1992), untuk mengenali modifikasi interaksi oleh mahasiswa dalam antara lain : permintaan penjelasan (15,91%), konfirmasi (10,79%), pengecekan komprehensif (3,98%), pengulangan kata yang sama (23,865%), pengulangan lain (10,23%), tanggapan (12,50%), permintaan bantuan (0,57%), permintaan pengulangan (1,14%), translasi literal (0,57%), penjelasan berlebihan (2,84%), usaa tim (0,57%), tanggapan:penerimaan (9,66%), dan usulan (7,39%). Agar kemampuan berbicara siswa meningkat secara signifikan, guru Bahasa Inggris dianjurkan untuk memaksimalkan modifikasi interaksi yang paling banyak dikuasai oleh para siswa dan meningkatkan yang yang paling sedikit dikuasai siswa. Sebagai tambahan, para guru diharapkan dapat mengembangakan aktivitas siswa melalui (1) masukan secara komprehensif,  (2) mengambil bagian dalam pertukaran informasi, dan (3) membagi peran yang sama di antara siswa untuk berinteraksi di dalam kelas. Kata kunci : modifikasi interaksi, menyelaraskan diri, kelompok kecil diskusi.

Abstract

This study is porposed to : (1) encompass and identify the students od elementary school who are expected to have spesific learning difficulty because of Brain Minimal Disfunction, (2) understand of the teacher action model and its intervention effect toward the increasing of children learning performance. The research was done in Gamping, Sleman in year 2000. Stage 1 : 10 of 40 elementary school in Gamping, Sleman were chosen. Stage 2 : Student of second and third grade were selected as research subject. The methods of data collection are observation, interview, and demostration. The research is done by research team and the class teacher. The result of this study  and the conclusion show that from 523 students of the second and third grade of 10 elementary scoool, 45 students (8,60%) have mathematic spesific learning difficulties, 36 students (6,88%) have writing difficulties. A class teacher gives remedial teaching and special guide will help students to over-come learning difficulties with special class model, source room model and regular class model.
