Abstract

Bangka Jaya Beach is located in Krueng Geukueh Village, Dewantara sub-district. Many tourists who often visit Bangka Jaya beach tourism, therefore it is necessary to analyze the suitability of beach tourism, through this research it will be known the level of tourism suitability to the parameters that have been determined as a determination of the level of security for tourists who carry out beach tourism activities. This study aims to determine the condition of oceanographic parameters for the suitability of Bangka Jaya beach tourism in a beach tourism object and analyze the level of tourism suitability based on the potential of existing resources in the coastal area of Bangka Jaya. Primary data that must be taken in the field include tourism suitability data. The tourism suitability data taken include beach type, beach width, water depth, brightness, current speed, water base material, coastal slope, coastal land cover, hazardous biota, and freshwater availability. Primary data collection was carried out in the morning when the sea water was high and in the afternoon when the sea water was receding. The sampling method in this study used a purposive sampling method in December - January 2022. The method used was descriptive analysis using the Tourism Suitability Index (IKW) analysis. The results of the study of the tourism suitability index (IKW) obtained the results of measuring the parameters of tourism suitability of 90.47% which was a very suitable category (S1). The tourism suitability parameter in the tourism suitability index table (IKW) can be seen that almost every parameter is included in the very suitable category (S1) of all parameters there are two parameters that fall into the appropriate category (S2), namely the beach type parameter and the beach slope parameter.Keywords: Beach; Oceanography; Suitability; Tour

Abstract

Ekosistem terumbu karang merupakan ekosistem yang sangat penting bagi wilayah pesisir. Ekosistem terumbu karang memiliki peran sebagai tempat tinggal, tempat mencari makan, tempat berlindung dan tempat berkembangbiak bagi biota ikan karang. Ikan karang pada umumnya lebih banyak ditemukan pada ekosistem terumbu karang yang masih dalam kondisi baik. Keude Bungkaih merupakan salah satu wilayah di pesisir Aceh Utara yang memiliki ekosistem terumbu karang di perairan lautnya. Berdasarkan informasi yang peneliti dapatkan dari nelayan yang sering menangkap ikan dan penyelam yang sering menyelam di Perairan Keude Bungkaih, bahwasanya terdapat ekosistem terumbu karang yang cukup luas, namun belum ada data secara akurat perihal persentase tutupan karang di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tutupan karang hidup terhadap kelimpahan ikan karang yang meliputi tutupan karang dan struktur komunitas ikan karang di perairan Keude Bungkaih, Aceh Utara pada bulan Desember 2021. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data tutupan karang yaitu LIT (Line Intercept Transect) dan data ikan karang yaitu visual sensus pada kedalaman 3 m dan 6 m. Untuk mengetahui hubungan tutupan karang terhadap kelimpahan ikan karang menggunakan persamaan regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan tutupan karang hidup yang paling baik berada pada stasiun II yaitu 44.68% dengan kategori sedang. Kelimpahan ikan karang paling banyak terdapat pada stasiun II dengan nilai 14320 Ind/ha. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman (H’) tertinggi 2.58, Keseragaman (E) 0.81 dan Dominansi 0.25. Hasil analisis regresi linear diperoleh nilai sebesar 0.34 pada stasiun I dan 0.43 pada stasiun menunjukkan kategori hubungan yang cukup.

Abstract

The main problems faced today are first, limited capital in developing a goat fattening business. Such high demand for goats is not accompanied by the provision of additional cages to place ready-made goat seeds to be fattened. Second, the lack of knowledge and understanding of good goat farming. Including the cleanliness and maintenance of the cage and even maintenance. Third, the lack of understanding of digitalization technology in running a goat fattening business. such as, making financial reports, and online marketing through existing applications. The purpose of this activity to partners is to increase the quantity of goat sales with good quality. Increased sales result in increased revenue that partners will get. Business expansion brings good changes in creating job opportunities to help this business. The method used to solve the problem is assistance such as helping to find business capital, as well as providing the latest digitalization trainings starting from the time this activity is carried out until after this activity is carried out on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPlastic waste is one of the biggest problems that is difficult to deal with because plastic is strong, elastic and durable, making it difficult for nature to decompose. Microplastics are plastic particles 5 mm in size that have been degraded from their initial form over a long period of time. Microplastics can damage aquatic ecosystems and cause death to biota because they inhibit metabolic processes, can transfer harmful chemicals to biota, and so on. This study aims to determine the type, size, color, and abundance of microplastics in the gills and gastrointestinal tract of mackerel. The research method uses descriptive methods to describe a phenomenon that is currently happening and conduct observations and interviews with sellers/fishermen. This study used 30 mackerel fish from the Belawan shelter and were analyzed at the Water Quality and Fish Nutrition Laboratory, Malikussaleh University. The results showed that as many as 84 microplastic particles in the gills were in the form of fibers and dominated by black, and there were 74 microplastic particles found in the gastrointestinal tract in the form of fibers and films with black, blue, red microplastic fibers and transparent gray microplastic film colors. The sizes of the microplastics found varied and were not affected by the length or weight of the fish, gills and gastrointestinal tract.Keywords: Mackerel, gills, microplastics, digestive tract, and plastic waste.ABSTRAKSampah plastik merupakan salah satu masalah terbesar yang masih sulit untuk ditangani karena plastik bersifat kuat, elastis dan tahan lama sehingga sulit diurai oleh alam. Mikroplastik merupakan partikel plastik yang berukuran 5 mm dan  telah mengalami degradasi dari bentuk awalnya dengan jangka waktu yang lama. Mikroplastik dapat merusak ekosistem perairan dan menyebabkan kematian pada biota karena menghambat proses metabolisme, dapat menstrasfer zat-zat kimia berbahaya pada biota, dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui tipe/jenis, ukuran, warna, dan kelimpahan mikroplastik pada insang dan saluran pencernaan ikan kembung. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan atau menguraikan suatu fenomena  yang sedang terjadi dan melakukan observasi maupun wawancara dengan penjual/nelayan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan ikan kembung sebanyak 30 ekor dari tempat penampungan Belawan dan diteliti di Laboratorium Kualitas Air dan Nutrisi Ikan, Universitas Malikussaleh.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 84 partikel mikroplastik di bagian insang dengan bentuk fiber dan didominasi warna hitam, serta ada 74 partikel mikroplastik yang ditemukan di bagian saluran pencernaan dengan bentuk fiber maupun film dengan warna mikroplastik fiber hitam, biru, merah serta warna mikroplastik film abu-abu transparan. Ukuran mikroplastik yang ditemukan berbeda-beda dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh panjang maupun berat ikan, insang dan saluran pencernaan.Kata Kunci: Ikan kembung, Insang, Mikroplastik, Saluran pencernaan, dan Sampah plastik.

Abstract

This research aims to know the percentage of life coral reef cover and death coral reef cover and knowing condition of coral reef cover In Bungkaih Waters, Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. This research was carried out in August 2021. Data collection was carried out at two stations in Bungkaih waters, each station depth 3 and 6 m. Station determined was carried with purposive sampling method base on condition coral reef cover, to know condition of coral reef cover in this research used Point Intercept Transect (PIT) method that 25 m long using marked ropes every 0,5 m or roll meter scale base on Manuputty & Djuwariah (2009). Base on observation life coral reef cover at each station is Acropora, Non-Acropora and Soft Coral. Station I percentage of coral reef cover is 14,12 % belong to category bad, station II percentage of coral reef cover is 45,08 % belong to category medium. Observation result death coral reef cover at each stations Death Coral Reef Algae higher than percentage coral reef anymore. Station I and II percentage death coral reef cover (Death Coral Algae) is 85,88 % and 54,35 %.

Abstract

Lhokseumawe merupakan kota yang dikelola sebagai sektor industri, pariwisata dan perikanan yang masih berjalan hingga saat ini. Tambak Rancong merupakan kawasan yang mudah terkena dampak dari aktivitas tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui beberapa nilai parameter fisik dan parameter kimia di kawasan tambak Rancong Lhokseumawe. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2019. Metode penentuan lokasi penelitian berdasarkan survey dengan metode sampling dan analisis parameter fisika kimia di laboratorium PT. Prima Bireun. Hasil parameter yang diamati adalah parameter fisik perairan tambak Rancong untuk parameter seperti suhu dengan nilai 34 0C pada stasiun 1 sedangkan pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai 33,5 0C telah melebihi baku mutu (28-310C) dan salinitas. pada stasiun 1 dengan nilai 34 ppt sedangkan pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai 33 ppt. Parameter Kimia Perairan Tambak Rancong untuk parameter seperti : pH dengan nilai 8,0 pada stasiun 1 sedangkan pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai 8,1, nitrat pada stasiun 1 dengan nilai 1.257 ppm sedangkan pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai 1.274 ppm sudah melebihi baku mutu yang ditentukan, nitrit di stasiun 1 dengan nilai 0,016 ppm sedangkan di stasiun 2 dengan nilai 0,012 ppm, dan fosfat dengan nilai 0,021 ppm di stasiun 1 sedangkan di stasiun 2 dengan nilai 0,019 ppm.

Abstract

The phenomenon of marine debris can cause unrest among the community because it can cause marine pollution that affects the activities of coastal communities. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the type, density and rate of increase of inorganic waste. The research location is at Ujong Blang Beach, Ujong Blang Village, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City on November 1-13 2021. The method used is purvosive sampling. The waste sampling technique uses a line transect method drawn from the shoreline along the 50 meters in the direction of the coastline and 10 meters towards the sea, in which there are 3 plots measuring 10x10 m2, the distance between the plots is 10 meters. The waste that is taken is waste that is on the substrate, the observed waste is macro-sized inorganic waste. The results showed that the garbage collected at Ujong Blang Beach, Ujong Blang Village, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City consisted of 5 types, namely plastic, metal, glass, rubber and clothing. Plastic waste has the highest density value, namely 1.59 items/m2 with a relative density value of 95.22%. The highest density value based on the mass of waste is also found in the type of plastic waste, which is 4.64 gr/m2 and a relative density of 78.64 %. The value of the highest rate of increase in waste was on Sunday with a total of 90.5 pieces of waste and a mass of 437.5 g of waste.

Abstract

Garbage is a major problem experienced on a global scale, both from household and industrial waste. This research was conducted at Pantai Cermin, Pantai Cermin Kanan Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. It was carried out on 6-12 November 2021 with the aim of knowing the type, characteristics, weight, total density, and rate of increase in weight of inorganic waste. The method used is purposive sampling by installing a plot of 10 m x 10 m with a distance of each transect of 5 m. Data collection was carried out by observation with macro size and recorded directly. The results of the research show that the waste obtained is plastic, glass, rubber, clothing, metal / metal and the most dominant is plastic waste. The density of the number of pieces and the largest weight density in plastic waste are 0.31 items/m2 and 2.93 gr/m2. The highest rate of weight gain was on Sundays (r>0).

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sistem resirkulasi dan sistem konvensional terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih kuda laut (Hippocampus comes). Manfaat penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan sistem resirkulasi dan sistem konvensional terhadap pertumbuhan benih kuda laut (Hippocampus comes). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan dua jenis perlakuan yang berbeda dengan 2 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Adapun Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah sebagai berikut :Perlakuan A = Benih kuda laut dipelihara pada sistem resirkulasi Perlakuan B = Benih kuda laut dipelihara pada sistem konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemeliharaan kuda laut dengan mengguanakan sistem konvesional daan sistem resirkulasi terdapat pertambahan bobot dan pertambahan panjang serta kelangsungan hidup yang normal atau sesuai. Pada pertumbuhan bobot sistem resirkulasi dengan berat 0,07 gr dan panjang 0,63 cm serta kelangsungan hidup 100%. Sedangkan pada sistem konvesional pertambahan bobot 0,05 gr dan pertambahan panjang 0, 58 cm serta kelangsungan hidup 60%. Nilai kualitas air masih berada pada kadar optimum dengan suhu berkisar antara 26-27 0C, pH berkisar antara 7,52-7,57 DO berkisar antara 6,04-6,16 ppm dan amoniak berkisar antara 0,121-0,262 ppm , nitrit 0,104-0,158 ppm.Kata kunci: kuda laut; system resirkulasi; system konvensional; kelangsungan hidupAbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using conventional and recirculation systems on growth and survival rate of seahorse fingerling (Hippocampus comes). The benefits of this research are to find out the differences in recirculation systems and conventional systems for the growth of seahorse seeds (Hippocampus comes). The method used in this study is the experimental method using two different types of treatment with two treatments three replications. The procedures used are as follows: Treatment A = Seahorse seeds are maintained in the recirculation system Treatment B = Seahorse seeds are maintained in conventional systems. The results showed that the maintenance of seahorses by using conventional methods and recirculation systems had weight gain and normal or appropriate increase in length and survival. In the growth of the recirculation system weights 0.07 gr and 0.63 cm long and 100% survival. Whereas in conventional systems the weight gain is 0.05 g and the increase in length is 0, 58 cm and survival is 60%. The value of water quality is still at optimum levels with temperatures ranging from 26-27 0C, pH ranges from 7.52-7.57 DO ranging from 6.04 to 6.16 ppm and ammonia ranges from 0.121-0.262 ppm, nitrite 0.104- 0.158 ppm.Keywords: seahorses; recirculation system; conventional system; survival rate

Abstract

This study aims to examine the toxicity of phenoxy acid herbicides on vannamei shrimp mortality, by conducting preliminary tests, persistence tests, mortality tests, and water quality. The research design used the regression method and probit analysis with 6 treatments and 3 replications, namely A herbicide concentration of 0 ml/L, B herbicide concentration DMA-6, 0.025 ml/L water, C herbicide concentration DMA-6, 0.005 ml/L water, D DMA-6 herbicide concentration, 0.075 ml/L water, E DMA-6 herbicide concentration, 0.1 ml/L water and F DMA-6 herbicide concentration, 0.125 ml/L water. Pesticides do not affect temperature changes, dissolved oxygen (DO), Salinity, and pH. Clinical symptoms due to Pesticide exposure to vanamei shrimp are irregular movements, shells peeling off, and swimming close to aeration until they die. The LC50 value in the herbicide toxicity test was 0.124 mg/l at 24 hours, 0.099 mg/l at 48 hours, 0.073 mg/l at 72 hours, and 0.026 mg/l at 96 hours.
