Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of using Powtoon animation learning media for flat-sided geometry. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-2 MTsS Syamsuddhuha (junior high religious school). The percentage results of product assessment by media experts are 96% in the very feasible category, the percentage result of product assessment by material experts is 92% in the very feasible category, and the percentage result of product assessment by 10 small group students is 94% in the very feasible category. Based on the results of the product assessment by all validators who stated that it was very feasible, the Powtoon animation learning media developed had meet the criteria for use for students. The effectiveness of using the product can be seen from the results of the comparison of the students' average pretest and posttest scores. The resulting product is effective in increasing the understanding of mathematical concepts, as evidenced by the average pretest score of 43,44, an increase in the posttest of 84,27, and the N-Gain value of 0,72 in the high category. It can be concluded that Powtoon animation learning media is feasible and effective to be used in improving the understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan guru di MIS Ujung Batu Sosa di era Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Adapun subjek penelitian ini ialah 5 (Lima) orang guru MIS Ujung Batu Sosa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah melalui interview/wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran daring guru MIS Ujung Batu Sosa pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ialah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan cara mendatangi rumah-rumah murid dan mengajarkan murid tersebut dengan alokasi waktu tidak lebih dari 60 menit. Disamping itu, guru/ wali murid menggunakan internet serta media pembelajaran seperti video digital dan buku bacaan selama proses pembelajaran daring. Jadi guru dan murid tetap melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar, meskipun tidak seperti pola yang ada didalam kelas. Perbedaan yang mendasar pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ini, di mana guru menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis digital yaitu menggunakan media sosial WhatsApp dan YouTube serta Google Classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the management of education financing applied at a private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in  Pematangsiantar. This research uses qualitative research methods, with descriptive types of research. The subjects of this study are five people, namely the head of madrasah, treasurer, committee, Madrasah Foundation, and teacher. The study used primary data and secondary data as data sources. At the same time, collecting data through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. Based on the findings, it was obtained that the management of education financing in madrasah always involves the head of the madrasah, madrasah treasurer, madrasah committee, foundation, and teachers. Sometimes, the proposed funds are not in accordance with its realization in its activities. Related to this, madrasah is assisted by a Monitoring and Evaluation Team, in this case, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Pematang Siantar City, to oversee the form of reports to the foundation given quarterly.

Abstract

In the 21st century, Indonesia is that the spread of learning is done boldly considering the cases of covid-19 in Indonesia are increasing day by day. The policy concerns educational institutions at the central and regional levels. This policy is considered to be an effective solution so that they do not interact with each other, even just using various media. In the current era, it is evident that the learning system seems to have changed, from what children used to feel in a (traditional) classroom atmosphere to learning that is rigid and monotonous in front of the screen. By implementing the bold learning system or learning from home (BDR), students are required to have facilities that can support these activities starting from smartphones, networks and data packages. Interestingly, in the midst of this epidemic, it has had an impact on all aspects of life, especially in education starting from an early age to higher education. The impact of this bold learning is numerous. Many students do not have smartphones to study boldly and schools cannot provide such facilities for low economic conditions. Not only that, parents who have time difficulties in controlling their children's learning at home will cause children to be lazy to study and of course achievement will decrease. So in this case, the role of parents is the main key in children's learning so that children's interest in learning and achievement does not decrease even though the learning process is not direct with face to face.

Abstract

Supervisi akademik sendiri diduga akan dapat memberi pengaruh kinerja kerja bagi guru. Beberapa tugas supervisi akademik sendiri ialah untuk membimbing, membina, dan juga dapat mengarahkan guru ketika menjalankan kegiatan proses belajar mengajar yang akan dapat menciptakan kualitas mutu pada pendidikan sekolah. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik senduru merupakan menjadi salah satu tugas dari pengawas sekolah. Yang terdapat pada Peraturan Pemerintahan nomor 19 tahun 2005, yang ada di pasal 39 ayat (1) ...dinyatakan pengawasan pada bidang pendidikan formal yang dilaksanakan oleh pengawas pada satuan  pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

The specific objectives of this research are to: 1). Knowing the Principal's Leadership at Al-Ikhwan Assalam Islamic Boarding School; 2). Knowledge of the principal's socialism in leading the Al-Ikhwan Assalam Islamic Boarding School. 3). Knowing the professionalism of the leadership of school principals at the Al-Ikhwan Assalam Islamic Boarding School; 4). Finding and analyzing the effectiveness of the principal's leadership in improving teacher competence on lesson plans at the Al-Ikhwan Assalam Islamic Boarding School. This type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Methods of collecting data by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Techniques of data analysis by reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the research and discussion show that from the socialism perspective of the principal, it is known that the principal's social competence is in establishing good relationships with internal and external parties of the school. In terms of Managerial Leadership in the ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans by providing directions, instructions for implementing learning, supervision and evaluation of activities, in terms of the ability of school principals who are able to protect, provide examples and solve problems and achievements at the MAS Al-Ikhwan Assalam school. The Effectiveness of Principal Leadership in Improving Teacher Competence, RPP, the results show that most teachers are able to be independent in making and compiling lesson plans.

Abstract

Many students at this time are starting to leave the cultural traditions of the Indonesian nation and leave moral norms that cannot be separated from the importance of growing the religious character of students in schools in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Therefore, so that students have characters that are in accordance with norms and religion, it is hoped that schools can foster a culture, one of which is by carrying out positive activities during the holy month of Ramadan. The researcher formulated the objectives of this study to: (1) The activities carried out during the holy month of Ramadan to cultivate the religious character of students at MTsN Binjai, (2) How did the activities carried out during the holy month of Ramadan at MTsN Binjai, (3) Inhibitory factors and supporters of carrying out activities during the holy month of Ramadan at MTsN Binjai. This type of research is qualitative, with the principal research subject. And data collection was done by interview and field observation with relevant themes. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The forms of activities carried out to cultivate the religious character of students in the month of Ramadan are dhuha prayer in congregation, almsgiving, tausiyah, and tadarus (2) There is an influence from these activities which makes students' awareness higher to carry out worship and have a noble character (3) Supporting factors come from facilities and cooperation carried out by the school (4) Inhibiting factors originating from students are overcome by reminding them to always be disciplined.

Abstract

This type of research uses qualitative research, where data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by presenting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research reveal the following: Educational Quality Management, How to Improve the Teaching and Learning Process, How to Improve the Teaching and Learning Process. This research will contribute to school principals and teachers in improving the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Coping with emotions can be done with cognitive therapy and attitude. The cognitive approach states that the emotions that individuals feel mean what will happen from the judgment of the situation they face. The aim of the research is to provide guidelines for cognitive emotional regulation of teachers in dealing with anti-social child behavior. This research method means literature study with a qualitative approach. Basically, related literature reviews use theoretical studies and other related references using values, culture, and cultures that develop in the situations studied. Approaches to cognitive regulation of emotions that can be carried out by teachers include: (1) teachers can prohibit the regulation of children's emotions using the method of captivating emotions and prohibiting emotions; (2) teachers can provide guidance on emotional competence using a camera to convey positive and negative emotional models, how to handle children's emotions, and manifest emotions; (3) teachers can interact with children, while identifying emotions that are not sporadic in children.
