Abstract

This research described the principal personality competence in Senior High School 1 Ketahun. This research was designed with qualitative descriptive method. Subject of this research was the head master of  Senior High School 1 Ketahun. The data were collected by interviews, observations and documentation. Then the collected data analyzed with qualitative technique. The results of this study identifies that (1) the headmaster of Senior High School 1 Ketahun has the integrity of personality as a leader through the ability to find the right, the attitude of responsibility, cultivate trust, appointment, care, honest and consistent. (2) the principal has a desire in self-development through an understanding of the importance of life goals, initiative, loving ideas and experimenting, daring to innovate, optimistic and daring to learn a thing. (3) the principal has an open attitude in implementing the basic tasks and functions through its ability to deliver messages objectively, be content-oriented, and seek information. (4) the ability of the principal to control himself through his ability to regulate implementation, control the stimulus and be able to anticipate events. (5) the principal has the talent and interest in the position shown through his understanding of the principal's position. Finally, based on the results of the discussion above, the researcher suggests to the principal to more develop the indicator of self development especially in simple attitude and ethic while act.

Abstract

The problems in the research are how are the roles of the Principal in Implementing of The Curriculum 2013, and the prospect In other Schools. Based on the data Analysis, It can be Summarized that the Preparation of the Curriculum 2013 Implementation of The Principal plays a very Important role as The principal’s main jobs, functions and roles as the school manager, by setting the plans of action programs, the personal organizing deciding the organizing staffs and calculating the budget; actuating the learning process, giving the guidance, coordinating all staffs , controling all programs, monitoring the implementation of the programs and presenting the report, making an innovation in doing the job and motivating the staffs, visiting the class, observing, and guiding, analysing all the constraints and deciding the next actions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the State Primary School Development Plan 06 Sindang Dataran Rejang Lebong. The method used descriptive qualitative research with SWOT analysis. Subjects were 06 State Elementary School District of Sindang Dataran Rejang Lebong. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the State Primary School Development Plan 06 Sindang Dataran can be done well

Abstract

The puspose of this research is to describe the management of infrastructure practice in the dressmaking departement at SMK Negeri 3 Bengkulu City” Consists of planning, procurement, inventory, storage, use, maintance and removal. This study used descriptive qualitative approach, and the respondents were the principle, vice principle of infrastructure affarirs, staf facilities and infrastructure, and productive teachers of dressmaking departement. The techniques of data collection used interview, observation and documentation. The result show the management of the practicing facilities of dressmaking departement of secondary at SMK Negeri 3 Bengkulu City was conducated in accordance with applicable regulatons, but there are some aspect of management that are not implemented.

Abstract

The purpose of writing the article is to describe the barriers and solutions in the management of high school and vocational integration into the province of Bengkulu. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The subjects used in are: Head, Head, Head of Sector Dikmen, and Principal of SMA and SMK. The tools used in the collection of data is by using interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the study are as follows: Readiness Education Department of Bengkulu province in carrying out the implementation of actional rule No. 23 of 2014, is now being preparing for the transition of authority from the district / city to the provinces to collect data on the number of high school teachers and vocational school, the school's assets, the number of supervisors, as well as matters more about the switch. This data collection has been conducted from February to April 2016 yesterday, then on October 3, 2016 will be the handover of district / city government to the provinces.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the strategy of increasing the perception-based character education teacher at junior high school number one Bermani Ilir Kepahiang Regency. This research apprach used is descriptive qualitative because they collected and analysis is more qualitative, which aims to understand the meaning behind the they looks.The results of this study stated that the strategy  of increasing the perception-based character education teacher done through the integration of character education into everyday learning. The school has tried as much as possible to improve the srategy of character education through the process of planning, organizing, implementation, evaluation and follow-up recommendation in order to approach perfection in accordance with the applicable procedures.

Abstract

This research described students’ discipline coaching in SMP Negeri 10 Bengkulu City. This research used case study by using qualitative research design. Subjects in this research were students of grade VII, grade VIII, grade IX, Headmaster, vice principal of students, students’ organization coach, Homeroom teacher, subject teachers, and picket teacher. The result of research showed that generally students discipline coaching in SMPN 10 Bengkulu city was appropriate with the rules set by the school, but there still some students who break the rules of discipline in the school. The rule about school discipline consists of rules in learning activities or learning discipline, rules in attitude, rules in students obligations, rules in students presence, and students prohibitions in school environment.

Abstract

The objectives of this research was to determine the extent of the principal in carrying out the leaderships function, whether in academic or non academic, as an achievement which given from the principal of Junior Hight Schoul 18 South Bengkulu. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The techniques of collecting the data in this research were used interview, observation, and documentation. The data was analyzed by elaborating data, displaying data, and making conclusions. Based on this research known that the principal have a honest personality, confident, responsible, willing to take risks, has a stabile emotion and competent to be exemplary; the principal has the knowledge of the educator and education, capable in developing vision and mission of the school, capable in making internal and external decisions, has good communication, democratic act, and work to improve teaching and learning quality.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Pendopo Kabupaten Empat Lawang. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, staf dan siswa. Data diperoleh dari wawancara, obsevasi dan dokumentasi dan dianalisis dengan teknik kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Perencanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru dilakukan dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak baik internal maupun eksternal serta menerapkan langkah-langkah yang sistematis dan tepat (2) Penerimaan peserta didik baru dalam administrasi sekolah dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mempermudah proses penerimaan peserta didik baru (3) Pelayanan bagi peserta didik dalam intra kulikuler dan ekstrakulikuler dilakukan untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam mengembangkan prestasi siswa dan (4) Pembinaan bagi peserta didik dalam intra kulikuler dan ekstrakulikuler dilakukan untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa secara optimal dan terpadu yang meliputi bakat, minat, dan kreativitas

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the general school leadership and discipline of work with teacher performance junior high schoolAs the District of STL TerawasUluMusiRawas. The study population was all government school teachers in junior high schoolAs the District STL TerawasUluMusiRawas which amounted to 102 people, with a standard error of 10%, the number of samples from a population of 102 people to 73 people. The conclusions of the research are as follows: First, a significant difference between the Leadership Principal principals on teacher performance by the correlation value of 0.343. Secondly, a significant difference between the performance of teachers Work Discipline by the correlation value of 0.736. Third, there is simultaneously a significant influence between Headmaster Leadership and Work Discipline principals on teacher performance by the correlation value of 0.737.
