Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing berbantu LKPD terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMPN 6 Depok pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode penelitian jenis quasi experimental dengan the nonequivalent posttest only control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal uraian sebanyak 9 butir, dari hasil perhitungan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran dan uji daya pembeda. Uji prasayarat yang dilakukan yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh hasil data yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t kemudian diperoleh thitung = 2,6053 > 1,6690 = ttabel mengakibatkan tolak pada taraf signifikasi 5% dengan effect size sebesar 0,5807 yang tergolong sedang. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing berbantu LKPD terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMPN 6 Depok. The Effect of LKPD Assisted Guided Discovery Model on the Ability of Understanding Mathematical Concepts of SMPN 6 Depok Students Abstract: This research aims to find out the model of LKPD assisted Guided Discovery Learning Assisted on the ability of Understanding Mathematical Concept of Students in Junior High School 6 Depok in the even semester of the academic year 2017-2018. This research is a quantitative research and uses quasi experimental type research method with the nonequivalen posttest only control group. The sample was taken by cluster random sampling. The research instrument is a description of 9 items, based on the result of calculation of validity test, reliability test, differentiating power test and difficulty level of item test. Preparation test used normality and homogeneity test is obtained that the data normal and homogenous distribution. Hypothesis test used t-test which obtained tcount = 2.6053 > 1.6690 = ttable. It means that H0 is rejected at 5% significance level and the effect size of 0.5870 (medium). Therefore, it is concluded that there is an influence of guided discovery learning model assisted LKPD on ability of understanding mathematical concept of students in Junior High School 6 Depok. Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems is a way of thinking that can be used when trying to solve a problem, it is hoped that students can use it to solve problems in daily life. However, the reality is that students' mathematical problem solving abilities are still low. One effort that can improve students' mathematical problem solving skills is to use the mathematics learning model Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT). REACT learning model where the REACT model is a contextual learning approach. Contextual learning itself is learning that can motivate and relate problems in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to solve mathematical problems with the REACT model. The research method used in this research is Quasi-Experimental type Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The results of this study indicate that students 'mathematical problem-solving abilities with the REACT model are better than students' mathematical problem-solving abilities with conventional models.

Abstract

The research to develop mathematics teaching materials in digital form that are used to measure the level of reasoning of students on the Pythagorean theorem material. The research method used is development research (R and D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects in this research were students of grade VIII Junior High School which consisted of 24 students who were selected by purposive sampling. The results of the study were mathematics teaching materials in digital form to measure mathematical reasoning. Measure the level of mathematical reasoning of the Pythagorean theorem material. A feasibility test of mathematics teaching materials was carried out by material experts with a percentage of 90.63% and a very good category, while from media experts, the percentage was 82.50%  and a good category, mathematics teaching materials were declared eligible to be used as teaching materials for students' independent study. Trial of mathematics teaching materials to measure the level of mathematical reasoning of students who use mathematics teaching materials so that the results obtained are 4 students have low mathematical reasoning, 12 students have moderate mathematical reasoning, and as many as 8 students have high mathematical reasoning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze students' learning difficulties in solving mathematical problems on the material of opportunity. There are several indicators contained in mathematical problem solving abilities, namely understanding the problem, planning a solution, implementing the plan,  and re-examining the process and results. The subjects in this study were students from SMP/MTs equivalent in the city of Jakarta, totaling 121 students. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method. The instrument tested in this study is a mathematical problem solving ability test with 5 description questions related to the material opportunity. Google form is used as a data collection technique to test mathematical problem solving abilities. The research data was obtained using the Winsteps application and then analyzed using the Rasch model. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that there are students' learning difficulties in solving mathematical problems on the material of opportunity, which is contained in the indicator of planning a settlement (Devising a plan), where students are not able to formulate mathematical problems or develop mathematical models on the problems given opportunities.

Abstract

Saat ini indonesia terdampak penyebaran covid-19 salah satu nya dalam lembaga pendidikan. Pembelajaran saat ini menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis online atau disebut dengan e-learning. E-learning merupakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan melalui elektronik media serta terakses dengan jaringan internet. Dengan pembelajaran matematika berbasis e-learning siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran ini diakses melalui jaringan internet, sehingga siswa mengalami kendala dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis e-learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan fakta yang berkaitan dengan hambatan e-learning terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan rasch model dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan menyebar kuesioner sedangkan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan teknik wawancara. Dalam penelitian dilakukan di sekolah menengah pertama di daerah Jakarta dan Tanggerang. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 143 responden kelas VII, VIII dan IX. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa siswa mengalami hambatan jaringan internet tidak stabil, terbatasnya kouta internet dan siswa tidak memiliki perangkat elektronik media untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Akibat pandemi Covid-19 pemerintah Indonesia mengalihkan kegiatan belajar mengajar tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran daring. Butuhnya adaptasi dari guru dan peserta didik, sehingga tidak menutup kemungkinan mendapati kesulitan dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan pembelajaran daring matematika peserta didik di masa pandemic Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed method. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dari 3 sekolah SMA sederajat di kota Bekasi yang berjumlah 236 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuisioner kesulitan pembelajaran daring matematika dengan 22 pernyataan. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Winsteps. Hasil wawancara dengan peserta didik sebagai upaya mendeskripsikan mengenai kesulitan peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan data bahwa indikator yang paling memicu kesulitan peserta didik adalah kendala teknis 0,15 logit, kesulitan proses pembelajaran -0,40 logit, dan kendala eksternal -0,41 logit. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu kesulitan yang paling memicu peserta didik adalah kendala teknis mengenai kuota data internet, kesulitan dalam memahami pembelajaran daring dan lebih tertarik belajar di kelas, serta kurangnya pemberian motivasi oleh guru pada saat pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar matematika siswa kelas IX pada materi persamaan kuadrat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed method. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswwa kelas IX di 3 sekolah (SMPN 1 GunungPutri, SMPN 4 GunungPutri, dan SMP Sekolah Alam Cikeas) sebanyak 45 peserta didik. 4 soal uraian matematika dengan indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis digunakan sebagai instrumen dalam penelitian ini. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan Software Winsteps. Dilakukan wawancara kepada 2 orang siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan tinggi dan rendah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari materi persamaan kuadrat. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada peserta didik dengan kemampuan tinggi, Ia dapat memahami konsep dan menggunakan rumus dengan benar. Sedangkan pada peserta didik dengan kemampuan rendah, peserta didik cukup kesulitan untuk memahami pertanyaan dan mengaplikasikan rumus pada jawabannya.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate what factors influenced on Teacher competencies Test (Uji Kompetensi Guru/UKG) of Indonesian ESL Senior High School teacher’s in West Java Indonesia. The data used in this study were derived from a teacher competencies test, and a questionnaire survey conducted among teachers who attended National Gathering of Senior High School English Teachers 2017 in Bandung, West Java. A total of 61 usable responses were received. The analysis was using Structural Equation Model (SEM) to see the correlations among variables also identify which predictors influenced most on Teacher Competencies Test. The result revealed that teacher competencies test was mostly influenced by education background (β =.27, p=0.028). It can be concluded that to increase the teacher’s competencies can be done by giving a chance to teachers to continue their study.

Abstract

Mathematics is learned and developed to solve daily problems. One of the obstacles of students interesnt in mathematics is the lack of information related to the application of mathematics in daily life that is conveyed to students. In fact, the mathematics material learned in school is an early concept that is widely used in everyday life. One of them is the transformation of the geometry. Geometry Transformation is a branch of mathematics in the algebra. The use of geometric concepts is often found in everyday life. Based on these problems, the community service team offered a solution in the form of training in the concept of geometric transformation with batik motif designs. Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Dalam memecahkan suatu permasalahan matematika, setiap peserta didik memiliki respon yang berbeda dalam menyikapi kesulitan tersebut yang dinamai dengan Adversity Quotient (AQ). Adversity Quotient terbagi menjadi tiga tipe, yaitu tipe climber, tipe camper, dan tipe quitter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis berdasarkan Adversity Quotient siswa kelas XI dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan materi barisan dan deret berdasarkan indikator berpikir kritis yang telah disusun. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 104 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain soal tes untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang telah disesuaikan dengan indikator berpikir kritis dan non tes berupa angket Adversity Quotient (AQ). Instrumen tes dan non tes diukur menggunakan Model Rasch dibantu oleh software Winstep dan SPSS versi 24.0. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, sebagian besar peserta didik berada pada tipe campers. AQ memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. AQ dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis memiliki korelasi/hubungan yang signifikan sehingga terdapat penjabaran mengenai tipe-tipe AQ.
