Abstract

Kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak-anak dan masyarakat di dusun Cumpleng tergolong rendah. Mereka lebih cenderung memilih untuk bermain dan nongkrong di balai desa hanya sekedar untuk bermain game online. Pengabdian ini menitik beratkan pada upaya pendampingan sebuah pembangunan rumah baca, yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Maka dari itu, pendampingan ini menggunakan tiga tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil. Tahap perencanaan yakni melakukan sebuah observasi, menyusun jadwal, dan membuat Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Tahap pelaksanaan yakni merealisasikan aksi pembanguanna rumah baca tersebut dan setelah terrealisasikan rumah baca tersebut diadakan sebuah peresmian. Tahapan terakhir yaitu hasil, pada tahapan ini sejauh mana anak-anak dan masyarakat di dusun Cumpleng dapat memanfaat fasilitas yang telah ada. Dan hasilnya diperoleh bahwa anak-anak dapat memanfaatkan rumah baca tersebut dan dapat mengakses pengetahuan melalui fasilitas internet yang ada.Kata Kunci: gerakan literasi; rumah baca.Assistance For Community Literation Movement Through Reading HouseABSTRACTThe ability to read and write children and the community in the village of Cumpleng is relatively low. They are more likely to choose to play and hang out at the village hall to play online games. This dedication focuses on assisting in the construction of a reading house, which aims to overcome these problems. Therefore, this assistance uses three stages, namely, planning, implementation, and results. The planning stage is to make an observation, arrange a schedule, and create a Group Discussion Forum (FGD). The implementation phase is to realize the building of the reading house, and after the reading, the house is understood an inauguration will be held. The final stage is the results. At this stage, the extent to which children and the community in the village of Cumpleng can take advantage of existing facilities. And the results are obtained that children can use the reading house and can access knowledge through existing internet facilities.Keywords: literacy movement; reading house.

Abstract

The role of parents in guiding the growth of their children from an early age becomes very important for the future life and education of their children. Where in childhood is the most important because it is the foundation of personality that determines the child's next experience. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of the students 'family environment, students' moral development, the influence of the family environment on the moral development of Class V in MI Miftahul Ulum Pelangwot in the 2019 school year. This study was a correlative quantitative study with data collection methods through a questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis, t test and coefficient of determination. The family environment of class V students in Mi Miftahul Ulum Pelangwot Laren is in the good category, and the moral development of class V students in the category is very good, from the results of t-regression regression analysis obtained tcount> ttable (2.335> 1.761) then Ha is accepted and can be concluded that partially the family environment variable has a significant effect on the moral development of students, meaning that the better the family environment, the better the moral development of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of cooperation between parents and teachers, as well as the efforts made by parents and teachers in collaborating to increase student motivation at MI Ihyaul Ulum Manyar Sekaran Lamongan. In this study, researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach. Collecting data using interview techniques, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis carried out in this study is in three ways, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. To test the validity of the data, researchers used source triangulation and method triangulation. Based on the results of data analysis, the form of cooperation between parents and teachers in increasing students' learning motivation, namely: exchanging information, either directly meeting at school or at home or by giving news using cellphones; the teacher liaison book provides information about the development of students; Communication between parents and other teachers is through recitation which is done regularly once a month. The efforts made by teachers and parents in collaborating to improve students' learning motivation, namely providing the best service to parents of students, equating the perceptions and values ​​instilled in madrasas with the values ​​taught by parents by communicating at the beginning of the meeting and provide opportunities for parents of students to be involved.

Abstract

To ensure learning goes well, appropriate and appropriate strategies are needed in the learning process, so it is hoped that the learning objectives and targets desired by the teacher in order to improve the quality of thematic learning can be achieved properly. The objectives of this study were to: find out the teacher's strategic planning in improving the quality of thematic learning, to describe the implementation of teacher strategies in improving the quality of thematic learning, to describe the results and to evaluate the teacher's strategy in improving the quality of thematic learning in class V MI Muhammadiyah 10 Pesanggrahan. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out using the method of observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques used: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that: (1) There is a learning plan in the form of consideration in the selection of strategies, methods and learning media that are tailored to the material and needs of students, besides that there are supporting programs for teachers, namely participating in workshops. (2) The strategy of class V teachers in improving the quality of learning is the cooperative learning strategy. (3) The result of the cooperative learning strategy in improving the quality of thematic learning in class V is that the results of the assessment are always increasing for each sub-theme.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the buzz group method on improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in mathematics. This buzz group method aims to train students in discussing, exchanging opinions with their friends, growing self-confidence, and making learning active and fun, so that it can affect student learning outcomes. This research method uses an experimental method consisting of an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class received the buzz group method and the control class did not receive the buzz group method in learning. The instrument in this study was to use a test in the form of questions. From the data collection that has been obtained, the calculation results obtained the average value of the experimental class is 60, while the control class has an average value of 45.67. Based on the results of observations that have been made, it shows that the buzz group method has good criteria for use in the learning process activities, this is evidenced by the persentage value of the observer I 90%, observer II 77,5%, Besides that it also proven based on the result of research by testing the hypothesis using the t test on the data analysis that has been carried out the results t_count = 2.624 t_table = 2.05 with a significance level of 5%, and observer III 77,5%. then H_1 is accepted, meaning that there is a difference between the scores of students' mathematics learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. It means that one of the factors that affect the improvement of student learning outcomes is the teacher’s skills in managing the class, one of which is by using interesting learning methods such as the buzz group method

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the application of student tutoring, 2) the level of mathematics learning outcomes for fourth-grade students, 3) the effect of tutoring on fourth-grade students' mathematics learning outcomes at SDN Kembangan Sekaran Lamongan. This research is quantitative research with an experimental descriptive method, with a sample of 8 students. The instruments used are observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing with a t-test. The results showed that: 1) the percentage of tutoring observation results 100% of students who attended tutoring, 82% of students paid attention when the teacher explained the material, 90% of students actively asked when the teacher finished explaining the material, 90% of students were able to master the task that had been given. when tutoring, 80% of students can answer questions given by the teacher during tutoring, 2) student learning outcomes for class IV obtained 62% of students are at a very high level, meaning that learning outcomes students experienced a significant increase, 3) the results obtained are t_count is greater than t_table, namely 5.036 > 2.145, meaning that there is a significant difference in the mathematics learning outcomes of fractions. This proves that this tutoring is effectively used to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Kembangan Sekaran Lamongan

Abstract

Handling Covid-19 must be carried out thoroughly and involve all parties from various walks of life by applying health protocols, which are continuously being pursued to deal with the spread of Covid-19 by always practicing hand hygiene by washing hands with soap and using masks. This service aims to provide counseling to students at MI Ta'limul Huda Bugoharjo how to wash hands and wear masks properly. Community service is carried out for 1 month, namely in August 2020 using a one-by-one or interpersonal counseling approach by way of home visits to each student's home and practicing it directly. Based on the results of the service carried out to students about counseling on washing hands using soap and masks, it was found that students were very happy and enthusiastic in participating in the counseling provided and practicing directly in washing hands and wearing masks.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kondisi belajar di rumah yang membuat peserta didik tidak bisa belajar bersama guru dan peserta didik lainnya di kelas. Hal ini membuat peserta didik menjadi malas untuk belajar dan lebih memilih bermain game yang ada pada handphonenya. Untuk itu dibutuhkan media pembelajaran salah satu media pembelajaran interaktif yang berbasis kuis online adalah kahoot. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif untuk menguji peserta didik setelah diberikan treatment berupa menerapkan media pembelajaran kahoot. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket yang diberikan kepada peserta didik menggunakan google form. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini mencari validitas, reliabilitas, uji normalitas serta linearitas, uji hipotesis dengan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh hasil uji thitung sebesar 4.163, sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2.101. Karena thitung > ttabel (4.163 > 2.101) artinya dengan adanya media pembelajaran berupa quiz seperti ini, apalagi yang bisa dimainkan oleh peserta didik pada smartphonenya masing-masing membuktikan bahwa kuis kahoot bisa menjadi salah satu pilihan media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, karena dapat membuat kesan belajar yang baru dan menimbulkan motivasi belajar bagi peserta didik.Abstract: The current learning condition at home makes the students unable to study with teachers and other students in class. This makes them feel lazy to study and prefer to play games. For this reason, learning media is needed. One of the interactive learning media based on online quizzes is Kahoot. The method used in this study was experimental quantitative to test the students’ learning motivation after being given a treatment in the form of Kahoot application. This research used a questionnaire as the instrument given to the students via Google Form. The data analysis procedure in this study covered validity, reliability, normality and linearity tests, and the hypothesis testing using t-test. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, it was found the tobserved value 4.163, while the ttable value was 2.101. Because tobserved > ttable (4.163 > 2.101), it means that through the learning media in the form of an online interactive quiz where the students can play on their respective smartphones, using Kahoot can be one of the choices to create fun learning because it can create the good impression among the students and instil their learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to describe the character education in the local wisdom-based literacy movement using text that is close to the environment of students and the implementation of character education in the local wisdom-based literacy movement. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation. Data were analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that character education in the literacy movement based on local wisdom is curiosity, communicative, fond of reading, discipline, creative and responsibility. The internalization of character educators in the literacy movement based on local wisdom is to use a variety of strategies such as utilizing texts from environmental observations that exist near students, regional saga texts and folklore. Evaluation is carried out by writing notes in the student's reading record book and data values ​​to find out the competencies that have been mastered by students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: determine the level of teacher creativity in teaching, the level of student learning achievement, the effect of teacher creativity on student achievement in mathematics class V at MI Thoriqotul Hidayah Centini. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 24 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis, t test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the creativity of teachers was classified as moderate with a percentage of 87.5%. It meant that the teacher was quite creative in providing ideas that could make students motivated to learn, the learning achievement of class V students was moderate with a percentage of 50%. This means that students have been able to show changes including their ability to think and their skills in mathematics, from the results of t test regression analysis obtained > (3,438 > 1,717) then Ha is accepted and it can be concluded that partially the teacher creativity variable has a significant effect towards student learning achievement means the better the teacher's creativity the better the student's learning achievement.
