Abstract

Hypertension is the third leading cause of death in Indonesia for all ages (6.8%) after stroke (15.4%) and tuberculosis (7.5%). (Ministry of Health, 2016). The number of people with hypertension is estimated at 15 million Indonesians, but only 4% are controlled, meaning they suffer from hypertension. It is more stated that 50% of sufferers are not aware of themselves as hypertensive sufferers because they do not change and avoid risk factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between overweight, healthy weight and underweight (BMI) with the incidence of hypertension at the Pampang Makassar Health Center. The research design uses quantitative descriptive research with the Simple Random Sampling research method using the Solfin Formula. Based on the research results from the table, it shows that from the results of statistical tests (hypotheses) carried out by the Chi-sqere test, it was obtained that p value = 0.255 Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected because p value = 0.255 > 0.05 so it was proven that there was no relationship between Underweight (BMI) with the incidence of hypertension in the PKM Pampang Makassar Outpatient Room. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between Overwight (BMI) and the incidence of hypertension in the outpatient room of the Pampang Makassar Health Center as many as 19 people (63%). There is a relationship between healtyweight (BMI) and the incidence of hypertension in the Pampang Makassar Health Center Outpatient Room by 14 (46%). Abstract

Immunization of infants is one of the most important steps in maintaining their health and well-being. This article discusses the importance of immunization in infants, including its benefits, the types of immunizations recommended, and their positive impact on society. Immunization in infants helps protect them from serious diseases that can be life-threatening, such as measles, polio, tetanus, and hepatitis. By immunizing babies according to the schedule recommended by health authorities, parents can help build the baby's immune system so that they are more resistant to infection and disease. In addition to protecting vaccinated babies, immunization also plays an important role in creating herd immunity. With high vaccination rates in communities, infectious diseases have little chance of spreading, protecting even individuals who cannot yet be vaccinated or who are immune to the disease. There are still many myths and concerns about immunization that can deter parents from immunizing their babies. Therefore, it is important for medical personnel and health professionals to provide accurate education about the benefits of immunization and help answer questions and concerns parents may have. By understanding the importance of immunization for infants, it is hoped that public awareness will increase and vaccination rates will continue to increase. This will result in a healthier generation and reduced morbidity and death from immunization-preventable diseases.

Abstract

Diarrhoea is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in children worldwide, including in Indonesia. The magnitude of the problem can be seen from the high rate of pain and death due to diarrhea. The study aims to determine mothers' knowledge and attitudes about treating diarrhea in children. Experimental quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The results showed that the level of knowledge was less than 25 people (62.5%), and the negative attitude category was 29 people (72.5%). It can be concluded that they suffer from diarrhea, while parents with good knowledge regarding managing diarrhea tend to have their children not suffer from diarrhea. Recommendations are expected to provide information for local health offices and puskesmas in overcoming diarrhea problems; this is valuable information to carry out programs to improve public health, especially diseases in children.
