Abstract

Abstract-Sheet jam wasa modification of semi-solid topical jam made from fruits or vegetables, then concentrated with the aimedof forming solids or sheets. Jam generally usedripe fruit that was nottoo ripe and hada slightly sour taste. The purpose of this studyto determine the effect of starfruit and carrotporridge on the characteristics of sheet jam and to get a comparison of starfruit and carrot porridge on the characteristics of sheet jam. This study useda Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments, the comparisonedof starfruit porridgecarrotwere 0%: 100%, 25%: 75%, 50%: 50%, 75%: 25%, and 100%: 0% . Each treatment wasrepeated 3 times to obtain 15 experimental units. The parameterswereobservedin making sheet jam werewater content, vitamin C content, total dissolved solids (TPT), acidity (pH), degree of color, and organoleptic testing. The data obtained were analyzed with a variety of tests at the level of 1% and 5%. If the data obtained hada significant effect, then thedata would be continued withDNMRT (Duncan's New Multiple Range Test) at the 5% level. The researchresultsof starfruit and carrot porridge treatmentto the best sheet jams was 25%:75%with water content (36,53%), vitamin C (44,00 mg / 100 g of material), Total Dissolved Solids (42,20oBrix), pH (4,03), and degree of color (L=33,09, a=+9,31, b=+24,10 and0Hue=68,88). The best parameter of organoleptic testof sheet jam were the texturewassoft, slightly dense (2,92), color wasorange (4,32), plasticitywasnot easily broken (4.24), taste (3,60),overall acceptance (3,64)and aroma(3,60) according to panelists' judgment, which was somewhat preferred. Abstract

Menarche merupakan menstruasi yang pertama kali terjadi yang menandakan seorang perempuan sudah memasuki masa pubertas. Namun belakangan ini terjadi pergeseran usia menarche kearah yang lebih muda, Ststus gizi dan lemak tubuh merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pergeseran usia menarche. Hasil prasurvey yang dilakukan terdapat 32 siswi yang sudah mengalami menarche usia 10-11 tahun dengan status gizi normal 9 siswi, menarche di usia 10-12 tahun dengan status gizi overweight, 21 siswi dan 2 siswi dengan status gizi gemuk. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan status gizi (IMT/U) dan tingkat persentase lemak tubuh dengan kejadian menarche pada siswi kelas 5 dan 6 SD Negeri Bakauheni Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional mengunakan total sampling. Subjek atau populasi adalah siswi kelas 5 dan 6 SD, objek penelitian adalah usia menarche, status gizi (IMT/U) dan peresentase lemak tubuh. Penelitian telah dilakukan di SD Negeri 2 Bakauheni pada bulan November – Desember 2021. Data menarche diperoleh dengan mengunakan kuesioner yang berisi pertanyaan mengenai karakteristik responden, status menarche, status gizi dan riwayat penyakit, sedangkan data Indeks Massa Tubuh dengan melakukan pengukuran berat badan menggunakan timbangan injak, untuk memperoleh tinggi badan digunakan microtoise, untuk mengukur tingkat persentase lemak tubuh digunakan alat BIA. Hasil penelitian analisis univariat didapatkan 32 responden dengan status gizi normal sebanyak 17 (53,1%), responden dengan persentase lemak tubuh normal sebanyak 18 (56,3%), dan responden dengan kejadian menarche dini sebanyak 17 (53,1%). Ada hubungan status gizi (p-value = 0,000) r= 0,786, dan persentase lemak (p-value = 0,002) r= 0,716 dengan kejadian menarche pada siswi kelas 5 dan 6 SD Negeri Bakauheni Tahun 2021. Saran diharapkan untuk peneliti selanjutnya menggunakan desain penelitian yang lebih baik seperti kohort ataupun case control serta menambahkan variabel, pola konsumsi dan asupan gizi lain dalam penelitian.

Abstract

Introduction : Malposition of the intraocular lens (IOL) can be in the form of decentration, subluxation, dislocation, or luxation. Conservative management and surgery are used to treat IOL subluxation. Case Illustration : A 14-year-old boy came to clinic with chief complaint of diplopia since 1 month ago. There were histories of cataract surgery of both eyes in 2014 and 2015 at a secondary hospital, secondary IOL implantation and membranectomy of right eye in December 2017, and IOL reposition of right eye in February 2022. Ophthalmologist examination revealed BCVA of right eye is 0.5 with S+10.00 C-2.25 x180 and left eye is 1/300. The right eye's intraocular pressure was 23 mmHg and the left eye's was 16 mmHg. Anterior segment examination of the right eye showed aphakia with subluxation of the IOL to the inferotemporal (Figure 1) and PC IOL of the left eye. Patient diagnosed with aphakia ODS with IOL subluxation OD, secondary glaucoma OD, astigmatisma Hypermetropia composite OD, astigmatism Myopia Compositus OS, Hypermetropia OD, Myopia Gravior OS, Deprivative Amblyopia ODS, and Last Eye OD. Patient given monofocal spectacles, prednisolone asetat eye drop tapering dose, and timolol maleate eye drop, with observation of IOL position Discussion : Recurrent IOL subluxation without clear signs of zonular or capsular instability in this patient was managed with conservative management using spectacles and medication due to secondary glaucoma. Long-term observation needed to evaluate possibility of repositioning or explanting the IOL in the future. Conclusion : Management of IOL subluxation could temporarily undergo conservative treatment. A surgical approach is considered in cases of recurrent dislocation
