Abstract

Kota Balikpapan merupakan salah satu kota dengan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas (lakalantas) tinggi. Lakalantas di Kota ini didominasi kalangan usia produktif (Polresta Balikpapan, 2018). Pada Tahun 2017 tercatat jumlah lakalantas di salah satu jalan di Kota Balikpapan yaitu jalan Soekarno Hatta mencapai 47 kasus. Berdasarkan angka lakalantas yang terus meningkat, maka perlu dilakukan tindakan pencegahan. Banyaknya pelanggaran berlalulintas pada anak usia remaja dan usia produktif dikarenakan pada usia tersebut rasa ingin tahu dan ingin mencoba sangat tinggi, sehingga banyak sekali pelanggaran lalu lintas ini dilanggar oleh remaja dan usia produktif. Beberapa pelanggaran ini terjadi akibat pendidikan mengenai disiplin berlalu lintas yang langka dikalangan anak-anak baik di lingkungan keluarga maupun sekolah. Dengan adanya kondisi ini, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi keselamatan pada pengendara pemula kepada siswa di SMK AIRLANGGA Balikpapan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar pengendara pemula memiliki kesadaran dan pengetahuan berkendara dengan baik, aman, serta akan selalu terdorong untuk tertib pada peraturan lalu lintas yang ada. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan meliputi tahap persiapan berupa administrasi, alat dan bahan, serta materi; dilanjutkan dengan tahap pelaksanaan sosialisasi; dan evaluasi. Proses berjalannya kegiatan ini cukup baik terbukti dengan banyaknya jumlah peserta yang hadir dan keaktifan peserta pada saat pelaksanaan sosialisasi.

Abstract

Manggar Baru is one of the sub-districts in East Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City. According to the 2012-2032 RTRW of Balikpapan City, Manggar Baru is planned to become a minapolitan and tourism area based on the geographical conditions which are located along the coast. Optimizing the potential of coastal areas is carried out by developing existing land or open spaces into proper beach tourism and can be enjoyed by residents and visitors. Based on the results of a survey that has been conducted, Kampung Nelayan RT 8 Kelurahan Manggar Baru has unfavorable solid waste conditions. Overcoming this problem regarding waste regulations, several things can be done, namely managing existing waste conditions through the provision of infrastructure such as garbage dumps in front of every house in RT 8 to make it easier to collect and sort waste. Then, conduct outreach to the surrounding community regarding education on waste management based on its type and utilization. One of the uses of waste that can be developed is to use plastic bottles or other plastic waste to make eco bricks. In addition, the results of the ecobrick that has been made can be used as material to build a vertical garden. The garden area can be used to develop toga plants for the local community. Seeing the waste problems that occur in RT 8, it is necessary to empower the community in managing waste. Community empowerment can be carried out using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach which first takes inventory of assets owned by the community to be used as resources in waste management. The community empowerment methods that require participation include Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA), Participatory Rapid Appraisal (PRA), Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) and Participatory Training. It is hoped that some of the solutions described above can be a way out of existing problems and can have an impact on both the surrounding community and the people who come to use these facilities.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 3 Balikpapan is a SMA/SMK equivalent level school that has the most classroom facilities in the entire City of Balikpapan. However, there was some damage to the classrooms caused by several factors such as the age of the building, natural factors, planning factors and others. So that the quality of the building will certainly affect the condition of the classroom and the comfort of the classroom users. Based on these problems, the solution that can be done is to carry out maintenance of the classroom building in order to maintain the function of the classroom and the condition of the classroom building remains functional and provide a sense of security and comfort for classroom users. This study aims to determine the building components that need to be reviewed for maintenance of the classrooms of SMK Negeri 3 Balikpapan, especially those that affect the condition of the classrooms and the comfort of classroom users, namely for students and teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Balikpapan. The method used in this research is to conduct a literature study, a preliminary survey by conducting observations and interviews with experts in the field of building construction and analysis using the calculation of item scores on the cut-off value of the building maintenance variable indicators. The results of the analysis show that the cut-off value obtained is 3.30 points with 14 relevant maintenance variables and indicators affecting classroom conditions and classroom user comfort, including architectural components (X1) with 6 indicators, structural components ( X2) with 2 indicators, mechanical components (X3) with 2 indicators, electrical components (X4) with 3 indicators and outdoor building components (X5) with 1 indicator. Then there is the variable indicator of classroom maintenance which has a level of relevance with the highest score obtained on the indicators of ceiling maintenance (X11), door and window maintenance (X12) and wall maintenance (X22), with a score of 4.4 pointsKey words: Building Maintenance, Classrooms, Classroom Users

Abstract

Lean Construction atau konstruksi ramping merupakan sebuah metode yang beberapa tahun terakhir digunakan para penyedia jasa konstruksi untuk meminimalkan waste yang terjadi dengan tujuan meningkatkan nilai tambah (value). Dari hasil identifikasi sebelumnya pada proyek Pembangunan Jembatan Sei Alalak Banjarmasin, terdapat 3 faktor penyebab waste yang paling berpengaruh yaitu: cuaca buruk, pengawasan pembuatan beton mulai dari penimbangan berat material hingga batching plan, dan dokumen pengujian. Untuk mengetahui penanganan waste tersebut, maka digunakan beberapa tools yang ada pada lean construction dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada para ahli (expert). Dengan menggunakan tools yang ada pada lean construction maka strategi penanganan yang didapatkan yaitu 1. cuaca tidak mendukung: last planner system, increased visualization, first run studies, daily huddle meeting; 2. pengawasan pembuatan beton mulai dari penimbangan berat material sampai dengan batching plant: last planner system, daily huddle meeting, fail-safe quality and safety; 3. dokumen pengujian: last planner system, increased visualization, daily huddle meeting, 5S process.
